Hi, just purchasd this beautiful theme. I am having one issue. I purchased it for its SEO friendly features, but it doesn’t support pagination. Example if it remove endless scroll, users and not able to get to page 2 from the home page?
I would consider a solution for none javascript agents (google crawlers) to sill be able to pick up all the links (whether endless scroll or not)
Let me know if you can help me, I might not be able to use it otherwise.

Hi Joey,
it does support pagination in other pages, and if you are using SEO plugin then you should choose which pages do you want to index, because of issue with duplicated content which is really important for SEO.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I think I may have not explain myself well. What I mean is, If I turn of endless scroll on the homepage, there is no pagination option for the user to go to page 2.

How can I translate the theme, can I use Poedit? I found that in Language folder are some files for French language, but I want add Czech translations. Can you suggest me proper way to do this?

Hello again, I am enjoying your template and just finishing my site off today using it. I have one issue, I am testing it on my laptop which works great but on my 7 inch Acer, it uses mobile mode and looks different to the demo version. www.wabells.com is on my version, the navigation is more sticky and doesn’t navigate so well is scroll up and down sticks and the menu side bar is grey and also sticks/freezes. I am using the latest version of WordPress. Is there anything I can do? I don’t think it is my tablet as your demo version works fine on it! Thanks. Also, can I just turn the mobile version off so it just uses the normal version on smaller devices? Thanks, James.

Hi, you should activate “grid display on front page” (in admin menu):
Appereance -> Theme settings -> Home page content: “Front page grid display”
If you want to use front page manager, and manually add content which is displayed on the front page, you should check “Use Front Page Manager” option too.

1. how can i make the grid use 200×200 images? it’s loading some full size images, but resizing them – so its slowing down the site. i want the front page and category pages to use the thumbnails.
2. how can i disable pretty photo/lightbox? i want the thumbnails to go to the direct page with the gallery.

I have the images working better. I used a plugin to regenerate thumbnails. That got it down a LOT.
Can you tell me which file to edit so that I can remove the pretty photo option, and simply have the thumbnail link to the post page? This should be a simple fix. If you post the code, then tell me which code to replace, i can do it no problem.

Hi, if you want to remove gallery, from the front page box, and replace it with featured image you should edit: pukka/views/box-gallery.php .
Maybe you can just replace contents of that with: pukka/views/box.php
(that way just featured imaged would be displayed). Just in case make backup of box-gallery.php file

There are some firefox limitations with the grayscale filter, but this should do the trick:

Hi, We want to achieve the following structure on the theme
On the home page we want to show a list of City names. Then if any city is selected then the content and categories for that city will appear on the city page.
So in short top level categorys then sub-category for them. Is this possible ? can you give us admin login so we can try things out.
After that we will buy it.

Hi, I don’t quite understand what kind of a list you want to make on the front page.
If you want to add a list of the cities in the menu, on the left sidebar, you could easily do that. If you want boxes on the front page make a ‘list’, then you could add:
1) category boxes – each displays latest post from chosen category; 2) custom box – where you can enter your custom HTML (then you can link it to whatever page you want).
If you need a custom page, for displayinf subcategories and some additonal content, you’ll need to create a custom page. That could easily be done if you have basic php/wp knowledge.
Unfortunately we don’t give acces to our demo site yet.

1. I want to have a blog but but there different things than on the homepage. how can i do that?
2. how can I remove the comment field on pages?
3. on my laptop with 1366*768 I get a big tiles and two small on the homepage but than there is a nastry gray strip nearly as thick as a small tile. how can i get rid of that? is there a way or do you just have to deal with that due to different screen sizes?
4. how can i change the zoom level of the map? I can not edit the field.

Hi Conte,
1) I don’t quite understand what you want to achieve. You want to change boxes on category view (when grid layout for categories is active)?
2) You can disable comments in wordpress settings: Settings -> Discussion: uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles” (this will disable comments both for posts and pages). And to hide completely comment box you’ll have to add this to the “Custom CSS” field in “Theme settings”: #comments{display: none;}
3) You can set width of grid layout by setting number of ‘columns’ in the Theme settings -> Home page content (Max front page width). Here you can set width to “Full width” so boxes will fill the screen no matter it’s width is.
4) Just use google map’s ‘zoom level’ control (http://d.pr/i/tEKT)

Hi, if you want to make changes with the boxes you should edit files in pukka/views/ folder (ie. box.php, box-video.php..).
As for the different site under blog (category) view you should also edit files in the pukka/views folder (you can use ‘is_category()’ function display elements that you want). It’s not complicated but probably here you’ll need some basic PHP/WP knowledge.

Hi Alekhine, yes you can add pages and custom content (customized HTML) in the front page manager.
There are two sidebars, left and right. There is an option to display right sidebar on the front page (and on all other ‘grid’ pages), but you can’t another sidebar.

If you scroll down, you’ll see facebook like box (facebook code pasted in the custom box), but you can enter what ever you want.
You can add pages the same way you add posts. You can choose box size, enter excerpt and image will be displayed if there is featured image set. I’ve just added ‘Test page’ box, without an image, so you can see how it looks.
