Hello just wondering when the new version will be updated. Its 7pm over here just wondering if I should keep waiting before going to sleep

I am finishing off some last few niggles and I will then package it up and submit to Themeforest, I am confident I will do this within 24 hours, but after that, Themeforest review staff need to check the update to make sure it passes the Themeforest standards, and then once they approve it, then it will be available for download. And they can take anything from a few hours to 2 days (usually they approve updates within a day), so definitely don’t stay up waiting for it today

The “friends” and “followers” features are actually coming from the BuddyPress plugin (social network plugin), if you don’t install BuddyPress, you won’t get those pages/features at all. The reason it’s installed on the demo, is because the theme does come with integration for that plugin (is compatible with it and improves the look of it to match the theme), and the demo needs to show that off. If you build a homepage using the Valenti Drag & Drop builder, you can add modules to the homepage that are specifically for “custom code” where you can insert shortcodes and they’ll execute in that location. WooCommerce already have loads of shortcodes, so you can use any of them, you can check them out here: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

And regarding the main menu, you can turn the “sticky” feature on/off in the theme options.

Thanks for your purchase. Before you start, have you downloaded the latest version of the theme? Because if you are using the version you downloaded months ago, you will be missing out on loads of great features added to the theme + lots of bug fixes.

To show multiple widgets in a single widget space, you use the “Valenti multi-widget”, and it is very easy to use/setup, in the documentation read the “Valenti Widgets” section for a tutorial on how to do it.

All the post previews that appear in modules and blog styles do have the category/s set to the post in the “by line”, the only time that you wouldn’t see that is if you turned the by-line off in the theme options, if you did do that, why not disable the byline except for the category part by turning it on, and then adding this custom css code:

.cb-byline .cb-author, .cb-byline .cb-date, .cb-byline-comments { display : none!important; }

I am about to release v1.5 of the theme (trying to release it later today), and one of the new features is that the theme is now 100% compatible with custom post types, so they will appear in the modules/blog styles/mega menu, etc. The custom post types will now also automatically show the review system, color/background option boxes, etc.

Yes that is possible, but it’s actually a WordPress built-in feature. In Apperance -> Menus, click on the “screen options” on the top right corner, and check the “link target” box. Now in each menu item you will find a new checkbox to make the links open in a new window

Every framework/theme uses a different review system (authors have to write it from scratch as WordPress doesn’t provide one), so they all work differently, which means the theme has to call it a certain way, and as such, review systems aren’t compatible in different themes. The only way to do this is to use a review system plugin which is independent from themes.

The “Related posts” block shows posts that use the same tags as the post you are currently seeing. If no posts are found, then the related posts shows posts from the same category.

I wrote it this way, because tags are meant to be used for exactly this purpose, but many users don’t use them, so I wrote it to show from the same category too if no tags are used.

Yes, the theme allows you to insert ads in multiple places throughout the site. One of them being when you build the homepage using the pagebuilder, you will find multiple modules where you can enter ad code, you can see them in the demo site too. On the demo homepage if you look above the “Hip Hop”, “Design” and “Valenti Social Media Widget” area, you will see the module that allows you to insert a 970×90 ad. If you scroll down a bit further, next to the calendar widget you will see the module for 728×90 ads. And if you go on: http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/hompeage-sidebar-all-the-way/ and scroll down you will see the module for 336×280 ads.

The pagebuilder also has modules for “custom code”, so you can enter code for other sizes too.

You could turn it on the review system for posts reasonably fast with a plugin that allows you to set a custom field value, however, even if you enabled it to all those posts, surely you want to give each one their own scores? And for that you would almost definitely have to go into each post and set the scores manually. So unfortunately, I don’t think there is an easy way to do that. Sorry bud!

I am hoping to release v1.5 later today which adds new features and fixes/improves a lot of things! Stay tuned for that

Do you mean you only want to hide the author from the “By line” inside pages/posts? If so, you would have to add custom CSS for something so specific and do something like this:

.single .cb-entry-header .cb-byline .cb-author, .page .cb-entry-header .cb-byline .cb-author { display: none; }

If you mean the “About the author box”, there is an option in the Theme Options -> Posts tab to turn it off.

I really like your site, but I noticed that you are using a very old version of the theme, you should really update to the latest version, as some big bugs have been fixed! The update instructions can be found in the documentation

1- There is a section in the documentation about megamenus that explains how to set it all up

2- Simply set a color to the page/category and it will automatically be used in the hovers. This can also be found in the documentation

In the Typography tab in the Theme Options there is an option to override the fonts with your own custom fonts, simply copy/paste the font-family code of the font you want to use and it will appear, you can find the exact code to use for basic fonts here: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_websafe_fonts.asp

Unfortunately there are no PSDs anywhere. I design with pen and paper and then polish it all off directly in the browsers

I recommend you open your site in Chrome, and then right click the element you want to see in a different color, and click “inspect element”, now on the right half of your developer tools you will see all the CSS code applied to that element, scroll down and you will probably find a colored one, simply click the color to open the colorpicker and you can change it in your browser to see how it looks. I hope this helps somewhat!
