That isn’t a bug, it was done on purpose. I wrote code so the theme turns any normal YouTube/Vimeo url into an embedded and responsive video by default. So the shortcode became irrelevant and it’s much easier to just copy/paste the video url anyway, try it out, paste the url (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCGj95LbBeQ) where you want the video to show and it’ll embed and be responsive automatically.

This is also great if you ever change themes in the future, your videos will still work (although probably not responsively, it depends on the theme) and you won’t have shortcodes code everywhere to update.

Thanks for letting me know, that’s because the theme already comes with a lightbox integrated, the WooCommerce one doesn’t add anything special/different, so disable it and it will all work normally (I disabled it on the demo), go to WooCommerce -> Settings and disable the “Enable Lightbox” option in the General tab.

The megamenu shows a random featured post by default, if you want to feature a specific post there, then all you need to do is go edit the post you want to feature there and enable the “Valenti Dropdown Menu Featured” option in the “Valenti General Options” box.

Thanks very much for the interest. Video embeds are really easy to do in Valenti, simply copy/paste the standard YouTube/Vimeo URL (www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCGj95LbBeQ) into the post content, and not only will it render properly automatically, the theme will also make it completely responsive. You can also paste that url at the top of the post and set the featured image to “off”, so the video is all you see above the content.

I tried to fix/add as much as I could in v1.5, but I didn’t get a chance to extend the pagebuilder options, but my main focus for v1.6 will be to do this + extend the review system further.

To turn the offset on for a blog style homepage, you need to go to the Theme options -> Homepage tab and turn on the newly-added offset option. Also, make sure you haven’t featured posts to appear on the grid, as if you do this, they will override the posts regardless of what setting you have (“Valenti Homepage Grid Feature” option is exactly for this purpose).

The category slug is what appears in the URL for that category, if you go to Posts -> Categories, you will see a list of categories, and you will see a column called “slug” where it shows the slug of each category.

No problem! It’s the same thing really, because in Valenti you have the option to turn the featured image off, so the post outputs the title + by line meta line + post content area below that, so if you put a video url at the top of the post content (i.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCGj95LbBeQ) then the theme will render the video and make it responsive automatically at the top, so if you also set the post to not have a sidebar (full-width), then the video will be 100% the width. First because for having a full-width video/audio I need to deactivate the sidebar (I need it), second because in your example the title is UNDER the embed.

Also, I see that in the home page the video/audio is not visible, so I can imagine that if I switch off the featured image, nothing will be shown in the home page.

Sorry, I think this is not what Im looking for, but you have my admiration because you created a stunning template!

Ah if you need it above the text and full-width with sidebar, the closest would be the overlay design. But just to clarify, if you turn the featured image setting off (a Valenti option), the featured image is still shown everywhere, except inside the post.

Thanks for the purchase Once you update to v1.5, you need to update the Cubell Themes plugin too, simply go to Appearance -> Install Plugins, and you should see an option to update the plugin automatically, click the update button and you will now see the widget.

For the custom post type, all you need to do is enter the custom post type slug (nothing to do with categories) into the box in the theme options and it will make them appear throughout the site as normal posts do (as long as they are set to a normal category). Can you give me the exact URL of your plugin to try it out? Because I tried one called “my events” but it didn’t add a custom post type, so I think I installed the wrong one. 1- The theme allows you to set two Google/custom fonts to the site (each time you load a separate font, a new script that blocks loading needs to be loaded, so 2 is really the maximum you should be using), one for the body text, and one for all the rest (the widget titles, headers, etc). The sizes are all responsive, which means that they shrink depending on the size of the screen, so the only way to override this is to add some code to the Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS, which is as easy as: h1 { font-size: 12px; }

3- Yes very easily, simply add this

Thanks for your answers. Since that I have been checking your demo and try to imagine how I can adapt to my website concept. I am planning to buy soon maybe today but I just want to be sure cause I did make many mistakes by buying themes that not suitable to my needs.

Every category has own sidebar but what about the posts? are they using same sidebar like I have category name Rome and I make a sidebar for category Rome then all the posts under Rome using that sidebar? and if the posts have more then one category whats happens? is it possible to choose sidebar in posts editing page?

Yes, each category has the option to have a unique sidebar. If a parent category has a unique sidebar, all sub-categories of that category will use that sidebar (unless they themselves have a unique sidebar setup for them too), and the same applies to posts. Although currently, if a post is set to more than one category, then it uses the first categories sidebar (alphabetically). I may consider adding an extra option for posts to specify a specific sidebar to use if needed.
