Re: “There will be plugins that use each of the websites API’s for importing/listing jobs on your Jobify website or you can also submit jobs to the job listing sites”.

Thank you. When will this plugin be available?

We don’t offer ETA’s of when plugins / themes are released.

Follow us here on Twitter for theme updates & here on ThemeForest for our new theme releases.

hi there – i have implemented Jobify and now want to add the latest version with the Resume option – how do I update this please? THANKS ANTHONY

You need to install http://mikejolley.com/projects/wp-job-manager/add-ons/resume-manager/ and update to the latest version of Jobify from ThemeForest.

Once installed you can find the plugin documentation here: https://github.com/mikejolley/WP-Job-Manager/wiki/Resume-Manager

just saw there was an update to jobify. This is my website http://livingstartup.com I haven’t changed any core files of the theme. so how can i update the theme. just remove the current jobify theme folder and upload the latest .zip file ? will it change the current look of the theme? or is there any other simple way to do it.

To update your theme to the latest version first go to your WordPress backend and click on Appearance Themes and delete the theme you currently have installed. Only do this if you have not made any CSS changes to the theme core files, you should ALWAYS make changes to the theme using a Child Theme and code changes using a custom plugin, we have information on creating a child theme in our theme documentation.

Next go to ThemeForest.net and download the latest version of the theme by going to http://themeforest.net/downloads While your here please rate the theme :) and click on the Download button next to the theme name and click on “Installable WordPress file only” upload this zip file to your WordPress site.

Your done!

@greystorm2014… Did you try the WPALLIMPORT with Wp Job Manager? How did you get on? Cheers, Pat.

Pre-Sale Question: Would it be easy to modify this to be more of a business directory than a job posting site? I mean the mechanics of the site and pricing setup works perfectly and the look its very minimal but I need it to be directed toward businesses being listed with maps as apposed to listed with jobs available.

Definitely, you would most likely just need to change the wording of aspects of the theme and plugins which can easily be done through a translation file or translation plugin.

hi there! Wonderful job! Is this template comes with Dumi Data file for a quick installation ? Thanks

Yes, the theme comes with Dummy XML and Dummy Widget data as well as video tutorials to help you get it setup.

Cheers.

Hello. Can you please elaborate further on the following: “We are also adding support for Indeed Jobs, Simply Hired, Simple Jobs and Linkedin Jobs using their API’s”. How and when we will be able to add value to the existing theme by the above support elements? Thank you

Thank you. When will this plugin be available?

hi, happy to make a purchase, just have one questions:

Is it possible to also charge companies to access to resumes?

I mean to display only first name for example in search results, plus skills etc.. but hide contact details, then if a company thinks that this person is a match – charge a fee to send them full resume and all contact details.

hope it sounds clear – thanks!

Ro

Hello Ro,

You could use the Restrict Content Pro plugin so that when a employer clicks on the persons resume it will ask them to subscribe to the website e.g. Become a member, then they will have access to all resumes posted on the website and they will be able to contact them through the website.

Cheers!

Hi, Is this theme compatible with WPALLIMPORT plugin? Can the apply button be directed to an external site? Thanks

I spoke with Mike Jolley the developer of the WP Job Manager plugin, he said that… he’s not tried importing content with WPALLIMPORT. But will work if it works with post types + post meta. He said you should try before purchasing the theme, i.e. install the free WP Job Manager plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-job-manager/ and try an import with WPALLIMPORT.

Hi there, nice theme, but modal pop-ups do not function with any apple device (neither safari nor ipad / iphone). Can you solve the probleme before my decision to buy it?

Mmh, ok thanks i will check it with mine. Everything becomes dark and the modal window does not appear.

Ok, modal window appears after min. of 10 sec. Maybe there is something with my devices. You have done great job, i think i will buy your theme. Thanks for your fast answer.

Okay thanks for the update. We tested on all devices that we own i.e. iPad, iPhone, iPad Mini and it works great.

Hi, little question… Some pages have a default width of 1140px, but others, like the job posts, have a very limited width of only 850px. I found this really pity because it’s not consistent. Is your theme easily configurable so that all pages can have a max width of, for example, 1140px? Thx for your feedback.

This is something we plan on addressing in an update of the theme. Thanks!

Job Management page:

Does this job management table get displayed on the WooCommerce account page as well if I am using the WooCommerce addons?

Listing Job Companies plugin:

http://demo.astoundify.com/jobify/companies/

When I install this on my theme I just see a list of a-z but no results below that initial letter list. Upon clicking on these letters nothing happens. Also container seems to be missing any stylesheet and has height: 0; apparently. Does this plugin need an update?

Hello,

Is there’s any options to monetized resume posting?

Regards,

Install the free WP Job Manager plugin and you’ll see most of the features that Jobify offers, we don’t have an admin panel for Jobify.

Cheers

I just purchased Jobify a while ago but this is what I’ve got in installing the theme on my server:

Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforest-5247604-jobify-job-board-wordpress-theme.zip

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

Cheers

You are not installing the theme, but the full package which includes the xml dummy content, documentations etc.

I would recommend following the setup video: http://astoundify.com/documentation/jobify/#tutorial-video-7

Pre-Sale Question: I’m about to buy your theme. I believe it’s a great theme. My question is: Does it support paid display advertising

I want posting jobs and resumes to be totally free but I want to display advertising on sidebar or header or other places. Is it possible?

Regards,

You could use an html/image widget on the home page to display advertising, i.e. banners.

You could add as many of these advertising banners widgets to the home page as you wish.

Thanks

Oh cool. I don’t think there’s any reason left for me not to purchase this theme. I’ll definitely get the theme :)

Thank you

Hi,

I wanted to know if this theme functions well with any page builder plugin, is there an official plugin that integrates well?

Thank you.

I also would like to know if the search criteria on the “Resumes” page can be changed? Or if more can be added to them.

We have not tested any so we can’t say for sure if it won’t work, but we also cannot say that it will work. The theme and plugin use custom post types as well as standard posts and pages so if the plugin you are looking at uses built in WordPress functionality it may work.

Changing the search criteria requires customization of the theme and plugin through a child theme but would technically be possible.

Hi. With the new resume plugin are candidates able to control the visibility of their resume?

Candidates are not able to choose this themselves but there are global settings for the admin.

If you visit “Resumes > Settings > Resume Visibility” you will see simple options to restrict the visibility based on roles. You can use this to integrate with other role manager/restriction plugins.

Ok, no problem. We just thought it would be a good idea for the candidate to have some control over the visibility of their resume.

I spoke to Mike Jolley the developer of the WP Job Manager Resume plugin and suggested your idea, I would recommend contacting him also. https://twitter.com/mikejolley

PreSales Questions:

To Start with..You have an amazing product !!

I would appreciate if you could kindly update me on the following queries i have

a) In the Resume Manager, can candidates upload Linkedin profiles instead of resumes ? If no, do you plan to have this feature or similar ? b) Extracting Requirements and posting in Job Manager from Linkedin within a specific region like “All Jobs from US” c) Can I add a custom field like Nationality in both Job Manager & Resume Manager d) Can we customise the layout of the jobs published in Job Manager ? e) What kind of server requirement will we need to setup the theme ?

Thanks! Glad you like it!

a) You can add a link to your LinkedIn profile but there is no direct integration at the moment.

b) I’m not sure I understand. Can you elaborate

c) Yes you can, but you need some knowledge of PHP and WordPress

d) Yes you can via a Child Theme template files.

e) The same as a standard WordPress site.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi Pre Sales question,
