Hello,
I am about to purchase this excellent theme. It will be the first time I am doing this and I would like to ask a question before purchasing.
I have paid for a web hosting provider and the package included free site builder (I chosed wordpress.com). Will the Installation be an easy one (like using appearence—->themes) or is there any other thing that I must have in my mind since I am not so keen in wordpress. I understand that i can “google” it but for the time being I would like to know from you fisrt hand if there is any difficult technical part that I must consider. Thank you very much for your help in advane and keep up the good work!

Hey, our theme is used with WordPress.org standalone WordPress installation you can install to hosting which gives you php, mysql and ftp access. You should check with your hosting if they provide all of that. Please get back to us with information so we can point you to right direction

My hosting provider has all these features (mysql, FTP, php). I have access in my panel over these protocols. The point is that I do not know how to proceed. Is it something that I can do with you , with my provider or is it something as simple as downloading it and installing it? Even though I get along well with pc’s for so many years, these fields (creating my own webpage using wordpress) is something new for me and maybe I sound like an alien to those who know. Every support will be highly appreciated. It is easy for me to install a free theme and make some changes. However I want to differantiate and pay for a premium like yours (which I continue to believe that is is great). Can you please check if and how can we work this out? Again thank you very much.

Installing WordPress is pretty easy. You can follow instructions here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress. Once you are done with it, you can read our documentation on installing theme and importing demo content and we can help you with that if needed

Is it possible when opening a project, the prev/next/back buttons at the bottom, appear at the top of the images, right after the category text? if so, how can i do it!

You can edit portfolio single php template and edit its html so those appear at the top. It’s best to do those type of changes via child theme, so you can easily update main theme in the future

One more question, I’m just finalizing the last touches on the site, and somehow i noticed that when i’m seeing a project, the url bar link says:
“http://myurl/portfolio_page/productname/” but it shoud say “http://myurl/products/productname/”
because “products” was the page that i arranged, and i can’t find the “portfolio_page” page to edit?
The thing is that on the browser, if i go to the url “http://myurl/portfolio_page” all my projects apear on this page but it isn’t arranged at all.
i dont know if i made myself understood, but i hope you know what i’m saying!

Your theme looks amazing. I have a question. Does your theme support IE 8, 9, 10, 11? The reason why I am asking you of this is that many themes claim to support IEs when as a matter of face things can be messed up when working with their themes.
Tell me the truth about you theme.
Plus I am interested in all of your themes and if any theme is compatible with IEs, I want to make a purchase it.

Hi,
On theme profile page, you can see the browser compatibility for our themes. Central is listed as IE8 compatible and it is, maybe some css3 features (such as rounded corners) will not be visible in IE8 (which is acceptable) but all IE browsers from IE9 supports it. Our newer themes are not listed as IE8 compatible since there are a lot of new features that IE8 simply doesn’t support, but from IE9+, they are compatible.

Great theme! I have a question: Whenever I try to activate the All-in-One Event Calendar Plugin, from Timely, my whole site “crashes.” I get completely blank screens throughout the site and I can’t even access my wp-admin folder. I have to go through FTP to restore my site. can you help?

We didn’t try this plugin, but maybe it have js conflicts with our theme’s js. Did you try to disable ajax (page transitions) when installing this plugin?

Unfortunately not, but Elision theme supports it and it has more features
1- Is it possible to increase the width of content to 1200px? 2- Is it possible to display the full content of a post on the blog page instead of only the excerpt, for example 10 lines of text and 20 photos? This is for a photographer site, so displaying the photos on the blog is very important, not only the featured image.

HI, I have just purchased your theme, and found the documentation to be really poor, and I cant make heads or tails out of what I should do, I installed the demo xml for what I thought was Soho, but I didnt get Soho, I really would like to know the dimensions of the Rev Slider that you have used on it, so I can set it up and there appears to be no information on the parallax setting or anything really. I think you need to rework your instructions so that way we dont have to contact you almost immediately after installing it. Thanks
