Please take a look at this admin panel page:

As you can see here, you can choose between, a simple background color, a gradient background color and an image as background color.

You will have this option per page/post too.

I think I’ve finally found out what’s the problem.

Please open your website and on your browser press (CTRL + 0). I guess your browser is zoomed to 110% or 120% and by pressing (ctrl + 0) it will return to it’s default 100%.

Thank you for purchasing Vertikal! I hope you like it Visual Composer is bundled with Vertikal and this means there is no separate license key for Visual Composer.

Also as you can see in your admin panel, we’ve improved VC to meet the features of Vertikal so if you even have purchased VC separately, I strongly recommend to not to update it manually and wait for me to release a new version and include the latest version of it. This way, I’ll include a compatible version in my updates…

/wp-content/plugins/js_vertikal_addons/index.php

Then you should go to line around 360 and edit the codes of this shortcode. Then you should add the required CSS codes in

/wp-content/themes/vertikal/css/style.css

If so, it will work exactly this way. You should add your categories in portfolio post type then add portfolio items and finally add a portfolio on your page with page builder.

Thank you for your interest in Vertikal! Usually, I don’t add all the google fonts in theme options and I’ve handpicked a few of them in typography settings. Of course if you need any special fonts, I’ll add them for you

The quick answer to your second question is yes, you can set different font for headings, content and menu. Please take a look at the “Typography Settings” screenshot here:

Thank you for your interest in Vertikal! Actually to do this you need to run two websites and make an intro page for them. I would recommend to install Multi-site WordPress and create two websites in it. This way you can have two different menu and sites.

This is a mis-typed in my theme options page which I’ve fixed it in new version that will be released in a few days (In Vertikal I’ve used Font Awesome instead of IcoMoon).

To get the list of Font Awesome icons, please edit one of your pages and add a new “Font Awesome Icon” element, then click on any icon which you want to use it and get its name.

You can also find the name of Font Awesome icons in this link:

But I would prefer to use our own icon gallery which is easier to use

Please note that you should remove the starting “fa-” from your icon name and if your desired icon name is “fa-link” you should only use “link”.

Then add this name in your theme options page in top bar custom icons section.

Thank you again for choosing Vertikal! Do you mean you want to have 3 columns blog list without sidebars?

If so, please add a page then in “Sidebar Position” choose “Full Width (No sidebars)”.

Then enable Visual Composer by clicking on its blue button above WordPress editor and choose “Blog” element and select “3 columns”.

This way you’ll have 3 columns blog posts without a sidebar on your page.

About your question, do you mean that you want to remove this icon and disable direct link to portfolio single page? If so, please use this code in your Theme Options > Custom CSS>

    margin-right: -25px;
}

Thank you for purchasing Vertikal! I’m not sure if I’ve got the point. Would you please confirm if this is what you are looking for?

Currently, when you enable Visual Composer, you can create any layout for a page. Then if you click on “Templates” button which is above the page builder and then choose “Save Current Page as a Template”, you will make a new template which is possible to use it and load it once you create a new page.

Beside this, you are able to choose from left sidebar, right sidebar and full width and also the header could be customized with revolution slider, flex slider and heading text + slogan…

Please update me if these are what you are looking for and I’ll try to guide you to find and use these features but if these are not what you are pointing me to, please give me more details and I’ll try to add any good features as soon as possible Thanks.

What I was looking for is a way to set different layouts per page. By layout I ment the set of rules defined in admin (color of menu, typo, footer bar…etc).

I wish to define 3 layouts in ordre to have menus same color as the header section. So if header in blue => menu in blue, if header in Green => ... you get my point i think

I understand it now Honestly it needs to duplicate many theme options for each layout or maybe we should find a better solution for it. But this will be a big update and I’m not able to include it in current version.

I’ll think about a solution to somehow include this as an option in next versions of Vertikal. May be adding some Custom CSS blocks, name it and then let users to add each block for a page or …

Of course this should be done by some custom CSS works per page which you can add into Visual Composer “CSS” area ( on top right section of it ).

No, I don’t have this problem with Vertikal on other Computers. Cache cleaning didn’t work. Yes, I had the same issue with Vertikal demo site. Another thing with my testsite: If you navigate to contact and back to home, contact will be still highlighted. Did I set the Navigation incorrectly?

About the menu issue, I think you have Ajax navigation enabled on your site and this was a known bug in current version.

I’ve submitted the new version a few minutes ago. Please stay tuned and upgrade your theme to Vertikal v1.2 once it’s released on ThemeForest and this issue should be fixed in v1.2.

Hi there,

Portfolio post type is registered inside Vertikal plugin. Please kindly edit this file:

/wp-content/plugins/js_vertikal_addons/post-types/post-types.php

Then on lines 7 to 46, you’ll see the portfolio post type settings. Please change the rewrite -> slug parameter and save it.

Please note that after changing this, you should go to “Settings > Permalinks”, change your permalinks settings once and turn it back to your current setting to empty the permalink cache.
