We are planning to have mega menu on dictate theme. Since dictate theme doesn’t provide mega menu feature, we have planned to use third party plugin called “Uber menu” (http://wpmegamenu.com/). Kindly let us know will there be any technical issues or any methodology needs to be followed to use this plugin?

Actually bro, we have not tested this plugin ever in our theme, for this reason we can not give you assurance unless we test it ourselves. It will take some time, if you can wait a bit than we start its testing. Thanks

When Donating, users have told me that the “County” is still being asked for when they set it to United States. When set to United States, it will not let anyone put in the State. Any ideas? Thank you!

When you hit the DONATE button at the top of the page, it takes you to a paypal that will not allow anyone from the United States to donate. When they pick “United States” for Country, a State field does not show up, but rather just a County (which is only UK). If you look at the URL of that page, its a paypal.com/uk url, and not a US version. Please advise on what to change to make that donate button on the site link to a US version of that paypal page, thank you! For now I made that bar live at davispaintingllc.com, so you can see what I mean.

I figured out what mistake I made after going through enqueue.php file. By mistake, I had added the analytics code inside “Custom Style” too. And thats why the code was appearing twice.

This has taken me all day to try and figure out and I just cant work it out… I don’t want to have the Experience % sliders or the social icons on the Team page… how can I remove them? I’ve looked everywhere and tried everything but cant work out how to remove them? I also want to remove the ‘recent posts’ from the buttom of the page too but cant see how? please please pelase help
If you have to change this than you will have to go to Appearance >> Editor >> single-dict_team.php to bring the Changes in the concerned Php code. Remove the code which you do not want to show here. Thanks for asking us for help.
Please download the latest version 2.8, and replace dictate/single-dict_team.php of 2.8 with that of your file. In replacing this file you will get a facility that if you leave any field blank it will now show on the front page. Thanks

Go To Dictate/single.php open the file in text editor search this class “single-post-date” remove this to end. Search this class “single-post-meta” remove this to end and again to end. Resolved your issue “Date, Author, Category” in single post. In case of any error contact us again. Thanks.

Good Morning Folks, I purchased this theme last nite because I think it was very awesome. I installed it this morning on a demo website to learn the configurations before I apply it to a live website. I noticed the following: 1. Logo – I’ve read about other users comments about the logo and I have tried the recommended solutions and they work partly. For example, I’m using a logo size of 320×80px and i have set this size in the theme options. When i go to > choose header style> middle logo | down menu the logo displays correctly at 320×80px. However when switched to left side logo | right side menu the logo width doesn’t change but the height does.
2. Creating a home page – I created a blank page called “homepage.” Under the page settings> page type – i selected “home” Visual composer is activated but when i go to templates under the visual composer options, there are no templates so i am unable to set my “look” to one of the theme options from the read me file.
if i am doing something incorrectly, kindly point me in the right direction to correct the above two issues.
Thanks for purchasing our product, we have applied some limitation on the width of the Logo because if we increase the width too much it will disturb you menus, if you want to remove that limitation, just goto Appearance >> Editor >> Style.css and find the .logo class in this class, you should max-width property which is 220px and it will be fine.
2. Sorry our template does not support the templates in Visual Composer, but we have done that change and we will launch a new version tomorrow on Monday it will have the facility to select the templates from Visual Composer. Thanks

Hi, it’s a great theme – however, I understand that it doesn’t have advance color change features in admin panel… My question is: how can I change the background color from white to other, please..? It has to be one one of the css files but I have no idea which one… Please, point in the right direction… Here is the screenshot showing what area I am talking about… Thanks a lot.

You can easily put the background property in the Section class of any theme section through Style.css. Thanks

Good Day, I have some problems in building the theme the way I like. First of all it is a great theme and well done guys, ok back to my issues: 1) I have problem in font color, where to change main area font color from gray to black “in posts and pages”? 2) There a problem in drop down appointment when it is added to blog posts or services it overlaps with the blog sidebar? how to customize it to fit blog post dimensions? Also how to change text fields from “patient” to “customers” and so on since I am using the theme to hair salon not hospital, where to adjust all these? 3) also in the sidebox appointment When I add appointment sidebox name in the post or service for ex: “Reserve” it appears over prebuilt text in the sidebox appointment? 4) How to remove sidebar in services posts and make these posts full width page? 5) Is there an option to add header sliders in posts? 6) I have a lot of products to sell online? Is the theme compatible with WooCommerce?

TEAM MEMBERS QUESTIONS
Maybe I’m missing it, I don’t see it in documentation or forum…
1. How do we specify pictures for the single members page? 2. Can we resize the slideshow on the single members page? 3.. I wont be needing duty time, duty place, % bars, contact … is there a easy way to remove what we don/t need. I left them blank but they still show up, just empty? 4.When you go to “Our Team” page, the text cuts off… I understand its an excerpt however, I need it to see something like, read more about [Member Name] or just read more… to a visitor this would look like the text cut off and they might now know they can click to read more.
sorry 5. If we only have one picture, it still shows as a slideshow and tries to change…. do we have to have several pictures?
How to set Images in Doctors Single Page? – Go to Teams (left hand side menu) – Go to All Members (on Teams submenu) – Click on a particular doctor to edit it – Click on Add Media (on Edit Member dashboard) – Go to Media Library (Insert Media page) – Click on Dropdown box – Choose the option “Upload to This Post” – Click on “Upload Files” to upload images from your PC – Set desired Images – Edit Attachment Details – Click on “Insert into Post

To resize the single team slider, go to Dictate/single-dict_team.php file, open the file in text editor search “slider-area span8” and replace it with “slider-area span12”. But this will require some other changes as well. 3) To remove duty time and Duty place you will have to remove some php code from single_dict-team.php and Duty time and Duty Place will be removed. For applying the limit use the default <!-more-> tag of Wordpress. Thanks
