I’m evaluating Avada for purchase and have a quick question: I’d like to use the Page/Post Sliders (2/3 width) on my home page, with each image clickable to a static page (page per client location). On the right or left of the slider a Recent Post Widget with thumbnail and blog post title. Is that a possibility?

Yes you can do this, if you use a post slider that is pulling blog posts, the link will go to the single post page. you can use a regular slider of your choice if you are not pulling posts, then the slides can link to a page. And you can use our recent posts shortcode for the other part, you can view that on our demo.

Custom Menu Per Page??
I’ve noticed that the new update boasts of Custom Menu Per Page. I’m assuming this means the “MAIN MENU” at the top of the page? Not in the sidebars?
IF SO – where do we go to customize this?
An Example of what I’m thinking is for example a “Grocery Store” website.
Where when you click on Produce you land on a produce page where NOW the top main navigation is strictly navigation about Product (apples, oranges, Lettuce, Lemons, Celery)
Can this be done on this Custom Menu Per page update?

Yes you can assign a custom menu per page for the MAIN navigation. you do this in the page options box, see the bottom of this screenshot: http://d.pr/i/VrwX

At this time you can, but you would need to activate a different theme, then delete the current Avada theme, then reupload the new one. There is not an auto-update feature yet. or you can do it via FTP. See this: http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/how-to-update-theme/

I apologize, I’ve not added this to our docs yet due to a lack of time. But basically you need to …
1. use the new “menu_anchor” shortcode for each section of the one page. For example: menu_anchor=”intro”. And the full_width shortcode has the menu_anchor built into it.
2. Make a new menu, and for each section add a new custom menu link and name it according to the menu_anchor names you put in your page content. So a menu item for the example above would look like this: http://d.pr/i/lzdk
3. Make sure to assign your custom menu to the page you create. There is a new page option to assign a custom main menu per page: http://d.pr/i/MxqF

The link above does not work. But if you are referring to the woocommerce featured product shortcode, then its just a matter of entering the shortcode, woo pulls any featured product (starred)

Sticky menu is now broken for me. The logo will appear three times and menu twice when the page loads if you scroll down it goes away.

Love the theme have 2 problems atm. I am having problems with overlapping images when you hover over a woocommerce product and the image changes if the one image is bigger then the other it cuts off the bottom text. The other is I was trying to figure out if there was a way to make all the siderbars appear on the left hand side of the site without going into each product and setting sidebar position. Thanks the website I am referring to is http://www.mabridalplus.com/?post_type=product&paged=2 9th product as an example.

For #1, it comes down to your woo catalog size vs the original size of your images. Most likely if you see an overlap your imagers are not large enough. Yes our built in megamenu is coming, if you are suing a different plugin for that it should still be fine, although we did not test it with all of them out there.
As you saw we just updated our live demo and added some new content to it.
v3.4 is only waiting approval from Themeforest! Should be very soon now!

That was my point, building one for over a year, nothing else. I also don’t get it, I just asked something, didn’t know that would bother you so much. Thank you for replying, I get that now.
Maybe I read your comment the wrong way, if so I apologize I should of been more clear in the comment, basically its been planned to be added, but we have not started it until about December 2013. So its been like 3 months, and its very close to being done. However, it will release with v4.0 which still has more work to do. But all of it will be done in about 6-8 weeks, give or take.

Hi I am interested in your theme. But I have a few questions. I have split my website into two parts, so I would need to install the theme two times. One part of my website is about my art. I want to create a dark and elegant look. 1. Is it possible to chose any background colour, fonts, fonts colour & fonts size etc. how I would like to have it?
2. Is it possible to have for my homepage instead of a slider around 4 images displayed (side by side with a bit distance between them). Each image should represent my different galleries (like flowers, figures, horses etc.). Can these images be linked to the specific gallery then?
3. Can I create a portfolio which shows the titles of my paintings when I go with the mouse over them?
4. Can these images then also be linked to a page on which the viewer finds description and the possible for purchase?
I also want to create a gallery/portfolio about my artwork, but I don’t want to have thumbnails in a square format . 5. I want to have thumbnails which shows the full images (only in small), as I paint sometimes in high format and sometimes in square format. Usually when thumbnails are created then only a part of the image is to see until people click on it. But I want to show the full image in the thumbnail. Would this be possible?
The other part of my website is about teaching. Here I want to have a clean and clear look with beautiful colours. 6. Maybe different colours for service boxes, like a box for videos, a box for free tutorials (but they should be in different colours and should be LINKED to the specific pages then. Is this possible?
7. When I buy the theme and I have questions about specific things, do you then always try to help, so that I can get the look of the theme how I would like to have it?

1. Yes it is possible to do that, all controlled via theme options.
2. Yes that is possible, you can make just about any page layout.
3. Yes

5. This is a bit different, it is possible as long as you use the GRID portfolio layout, it will always show the full image ratio. The column layouts will show cropped versions of the images. And all single post pages will show full ratio also, the cropping only happens on the main column view pages.

We have a dedicated support forum where our users signup and ask us questions. But please note, we cannot provide support for code customizations or 3rd party plugins, only regular theme use. Although in some small customization cases, we do help out or give advice.

Hi, thank you for your response: to 5: I saw the grid layout in your demo, but it means that the images are not in a row and they do not have any text below them. Since art is my business I need to have the images of course being displayed professonally. The columns layouts looks better but then the images are cropped. Hmmm …If your theme can’t do what I want then it would be maybe better to use a 3rd party plugin for the gallery?

You can customize the column template you choose to be the size you need, but it will be one size for the whole column layout. Or you could use the blog grid layout, its different and has text. A plugin will most likely not have the single post page you need as our built-in portfolio does.
