Hello, I have an image slider in my portfolio section. I would like to have thumbnails below the slider that correspond to the slider. Is something like the link below hard to put into the existing portfolio code? Could I rearrange the single-portolio.php page to use the link/code below?

Do you have any tips on the CSS side for changing the Slider “slide caption”; “title-caption” and navigation font to black (#000000)?

Nevermind – after experimenting I believe I found what I need
Having trouble changing the .title-caption sections. I put the following into the custom CSS section:
slidecaption h2, #slidecaption p {
text-transform: uppercase; color: #000000;}
.title-caption h4 {color: #000000;}
The “slidecaption h2” is working and black but not able to change the title-caption section.
Try this css for changing that
.title-caption h4{yourcss here}
Try to use firebug/chrome dev tool for inspecting the classes and styles for some element.cheers
The background YouTube video doesn’t work in Safari 6.1.1. If you even check out your demo link it doesn’t work in Safari.
Try to clean the cache first. Some browser (mostly safari) create some caching that makes the video from youtube doesn’t work,
It doesn’t work I reset safari go to the link and no video.
Try to change from youtube video into hosted video. Im afraid there is some bug from the plugin/safari about using youtube api.

Thanks for making Alamak – it’s a great theme! We noticed that the video on the continuous home page is not showing when the page is loaded on multiple tabs. We are using Chrome. Do you know how we can make the video play whenever it is loaded (even if the homepage is loaded twice)? Alamak Homepage Custom Layout is currently set and we are hosting our own video in .mp4 format. It works when only one tab on the browser is viewing the single page site at once. Our video won’t have audio. Thanks!

Those problems comes because some caching function in chrome. Its really depend on the browser not the theme. Its their default function to save some cache for video/flash player.

I wanted to see if the thumb image for a portfolio video could bring up the video, just like the film strip icon. Right now it just brings up a lightbox of a larger version of the image. I have had a couple of users get confused by clicking the image rather than the film strip and are wondering where the video is. Does that make sense?

Yes, you can choose what to display there(in the team ajax/team detail), is it gonna be slider image/embedded video(youtube/vimeo)/static image. But you cant add embedded video inside the slider.

No, you “can’t” embed the video inside the slider. You only can insert image inside of it. You must choose is gonna be slider/image/embed video to display inside the content.

In the 1.5 version, The team members are not expanding. Have you noticed this or do you think it’s a plugin conflict?

Try to refresh the permalinks, go to Settings->Permalinks. Change the “Common Settings” into “Post name”(checklist). And Save that. After that you can revert it back to your own permalinks settings.

Im not understand what you mean by interior page. Do you want to create menu link for some section eg portfolio? If yes, try to add the link like this www.yoursite.com/#portfolio
And you can add any pages beside the blog in homepage menu aslong you add “external” class.

1. Have you set the front page setting to use page that using custom layout template? You can add and re order the section list in theme options->custom layout
2. The filter in portfolio area will be shown if you used custom layout template.

I have a problem with Gallery ..
When you click on gallery (Team) ,
and this is the shortcode i have used so far

but is always shows only 1 big pixelated image as a slideshow, i want to display as 4 column thumbnail, please advise asap.

I suggest to editing the image in photoshop or any image editor to fit the slider, because if you change the slider height the layout will be mess out.

The slider image will fit based on your screen/monitor view. So if you view it in 1280×800px try to make the image size same like those size. And you can edit/move the focus inside the image to the top about half screen. So basically you just need to edit it in image editor no need to add some css/code for that. Just need to try out every angle/size that fit you need there.

Hello, great theme! I was playing with the slider option and trying to swap out images so that they were the same size and first it stopped working with three images and now it’s down to only working with one. I have tried resetting the options and then re-uploading the images I was using (that did work in the theme initially)... but that doesn’t fix the issue.
Any ways on trouble shooting? Or should I just re-install the theme?

ok. Just two more quastions: 1. Is it possible to change #about to #om (in swedish). 2. If I type in www.website.com/about I end up with 404. Is it possible to direct me to www.website.com/#about instead?
1.The default theme use #about for anchor for styling and function. You can change it, but it will make problems. Try to change the “Title” in menu not the “link”.
2. Yes, you can use that links. eg. www.website.com/#about
