To update do i need to reinstall all the files? I don’t see an update option or instructions…
Yes you have to download the latest package from themeforest, then unzip it, unzip smart7.zip and replace smart7 folder with your current smart7 folder in “wp-content/themes” directory.

Hey Great theme but having issue getting featured image to show while using portfolio grid! Have been playing around with theme and code but nothing is working. The featured image shows just fine on portfolio slider though. please view http://don3.garytournaments.com/website-build/ to see issue.

Hi, does Your theme Smart7 is tested with WPML and easy to translate? Because I bought one theme and the author said it is compatible with WPML ann I just stuck with it, couldn’t move forward with translations. Already contacted WPML support ant they start looking for problem and already contacted the theme author to ask about WPML compatibility. I am new to WPML but I think I lost a week just because of disinformation…
Hello mate, it’s tested with WPML and passed the test, but we don’t have the official confirmation from WPML guys, Smart7 is using the functionality of our other themes which are confirmed with WPML guys.
Thanks for response. The main issues was with the menu. They use front page builder and own menu, not wordpress menu maybe it was the problem or maybe they just not tested the theme at all. Anyway nice theme and if my theme will be not good for the WPML I think I will go with this one.
Hi, me again. Maybe You know when using WPML do I need to create different subdomains or do other changes in servers or something. Or activate and translate with WPML is much easier?
I was told that those issues could be because the theme is ajaxed and only way to get my website multilingual is create multisite… Is Your theme ajaxed?
Hey mate, Smart7 is not AJAX and it’s using WordPress menus, from what I’ve seen on client websites, you don’t need to create sub domains, WPML will create it automatically, If you had any other question, please let me know.

How Can I place language switcher in a header menu somewhere in handy possition? And waiting email response too.
You can simply add the language switcher to menu using “Display the language switcher in the WP Menu” option in WPML plugin setting. You can also add the Flags using “Flag” option under “What to include in the language switcher” option.

Hey mate, It’s very complicated process, you need to customize the back-end code and javascript, also you might need to recompile the theme.js file.

Love the theme, is there a way to make the map pan via mouse like normal Google maps? At the minute I can only move the location around using the arrows in the top left.

Also how would I change the breakpoint on the mobile navigation.
For example if you look at http://bikramyogacork.ie/dev2/ and bring the page size down to close to the mobile break, you’ll see the menu goes over the logo – can you advise how to fix?
I would imagine just increasing the size that the mobile menu starts at will fix, can you tell me how to do that? Thanks
Hey mate, thank you. You can use any marker you want using gmap marker shortcode. Also the mobile issue is happening because you have added social icons in menu area. You can hide social icons in that screen size, but i don’t think any user will see that issue in real world, because when someone opens your website in tablet, no one will see that issue.

I was hoping you could help me two things though, one is definitely my problem but hoping you can help fix and the other is a bit different.
The problem I created was editing the header to make the logo hang over the slider – this works most of the time, but sometimes for some reason layerslider goes over the top. Do you know what might be causing it.
The other thing, the client is for can only only see one post in the blog/news section at a time, instead of 2?
Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Question: Under page options, I can change the title banner color but I can’t do it on portfolio items (no page options). Is there any way around this? Will you ever add page options to portfolio items?

Since Smart7 is a shortcode based theme, you have page with different shortcodes, your portfolio pages are the pages which have portfolio shortcodes, so they should be the same as any other page and they have title banner. I’m not very technical, and I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to disable the navigation-bar animation.
In the documentation I found this:Customizing Custom JavaSciptThis theme uses require.js for managing custom JavaScripts modules. To develop new module you have to add your JavaScript file to “assets > js > modules” directory and add a refrence to it from “theme-dev.js” file inside “assets > js”. When “WP_DEBUG” is set to “true”, “theme-dev.js” file is used as main entry point for modules and when “WP_DEBUG” is not defind or set to “false”, compiled version of “theme-dev.js” file which is “theme.js” is used instead.
To compile modules, you need to install “node.js” and download “r.js” file from require.js website and put it directly inside theme’s directory, then run “build.bat”(Windows).
However I don’t know where to start.
Could you help me disable the navigation bar animation, so it’s always 100% the size?

Ok so, for anybody how wants to modify the theme’s javascript in OS X, Heres how: (Maybe these instructions could be added to the documentation)
1- Make your desired changes to the js files. To disable the navbar animation for example:
Go to “assets > js > modules > navigation.js”, now go to line 63 and change it to :
//$window.scroll(UpdateHeader);
Save your changes.
2- Install the node.js (.pkg) from here: http://nodejs.org/download/
3- From Terminal run: npm install requirejs
4- Place r.js (from http://requirejs.org/docs/download.html#rjs) in your intallation directory. e.g. /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/wp-content/themes/Smart7/assets/js/
5- From the above folder run: node r.js -o name=theme-dev out=theme.js baseUrl=. optimize=none

Hello PixFlow, we have installed Wordpress 3.8 and can`t install your Theme! Wordpress goes in an endless loop while hangs then with an error.No way to install the zip. Firefox is sending question to our host but nothing happens. But other themes we can install properly! Do you have an hint for us? Please! Thanks and regards Rehme
