hey, i just bought your theme and i have a problem with the Template Builder, when i try to edit any of the templates nothing happens.. it’s suppose to open but it doesn’t, not in firefox or IE..

I think that plugin has serious problems with WordPress’s core functions such as “wp_editor” function. Normally the function supports multiple editors for a page but the after the plugin, it fails. I’d consider using tinymce advanced plugin instead if you need better editor.

Hi, this means we have to create a template for each page or post to have its featured image in the slider area, which is a long process.
In the Layer Slider we have option to add “Dynamic content from post”, which doent have featured image tag. BUG:?: Also, using this option I see only one title appearing, in all pages/posts using that template, how can we make it dynamic with atleast post title dynamically picked according to the post title?

- There is no dynamic header image option. But i’ll consider to add an option for page/post meta’s to customize header & background images without using templates for a page/post particularly.
- One title? The page & post titles are dynamic. But only in single posts page the tittle will be sticky to above the post content to prevent double titles due to its design. I wasn’t look good when i keep the both.

Yes, you can remove the widgets that inside the sidebar areas for footer (Sidebar for Footer 1-2-3-4-5) If you want create a footer just for a particular template(s) you create a new sidebar and use it with the “sidebar” module of the template builder.

Thanks for the reply but how do you remove Default Widgets from the footer of the Team/Staff pages because if I select a template for the page the content disappears?

In the template builder;
1) Add a “Default Content” module into your template to display the content. This module is created for getting the content of the page/post when attached to a template. You can also reposition the default content and combine with other modules.
2) Click the “show footer options” of the template and disable default footer widgets visibility for the page/posts that attached to the template.
If this instruction is not enough please let me know so i provide a sample template to you.
OK, sorted now… just read the great instructions in the Setup Assistant and added the Default Page Content module to the Template

Do not use “sidebar for footer” areas so there won’t be any footer widgets for site wide.
If you want to have them for some pages particularly;
1 ) You can create a custom sidebar area ( RT-Theme 18 -> Sidebar Creator ) and place widgets into the new sidebar that you created via ( Appearance -> Widgets )
2) Then create a template ( RT-Theme 18 -> Template Builder ) and add a “sidebar” module, select the new widget area for it, and move it into the footer content area.
By following this method, you can create different footers for different pages.

I’ve removed all of the items in Sidebar For Footer (Column 1) but it leaves a small bar at the bottom of the page. I’ve also made the Sidebar For Footer (Column 1) not visible in the Sidebar Creator but the bar at the bottom of the page still shows?
You are right. I’ll have a proper solution for it with the next update but i can provide a temporary solution for you. Please put the following css code into the box inside the Styling Options / Custom CSS
body.full.template-builder .footer_widgets_row{
display:none;
}
This will remove widgets bar completely when a page is not assigned with a template.

You can make a content a row’s width 100% fromthe Row Options -> Row Width http://cl.ly/image/3v211T3x2n2X/Image%202014-04-14%20at%2012.32.52%20PM.png When you chose 100% the item space of portfolio carousel will be 0.

I have edited the min_image_width from 480 to 740 in theme_functions.php as the portfolio carousel was using 480 image width. The portfolio carousel in responsive mode for ipad was using this dimension, how the image was being stretched to 740 and therefore it was appearing blurry.
$min_image_width = 740; //min image size for mobile viewI don’t know if this is the best workaround, suggestions welcomed.

Fantastic Theme! Before buying it i would like to make sure that following things are able to edit:
- can i adjust the size of the Thunmbnails in the Portfolio Page? I need Movie poster Format in there (Portrait Style – No Square Thumbs)
- i need more than 3 Rows, how about 6 Rows of Posters in a Portfolio Page?
- is there any possibility to use a different filter plugin? i need to sort the Portfolio (Movie poster) for the release Dates.

- There are 1/1 1/2 1/3 1/4 and 1/5 layout options are available for portfolio items with different styling options.
- There is no row limit for a template. You can also re-style each, if you want.
- The default order is customizable. You can list the items by name, date, id and randomized in descending or ascending. The dynamic, animated sorter is just for categories.

I wanted to know where in the pages i can set up an ID. But i found out, the ID is made automatically by wordpress. Absolutely useless for me because i need to put in an release date and need to sort the movies according to the release dates. Another question: I am not able to set the TAB styles correct. Your documentation isn´t detailed enough for non-programmers like me. How can i set up the tab style three? i don´t understand the codes your writing in your documentation. tried everything – doesn´t work.

Hi Toby,
There are two ways to create a tabular content;
1) Using the template builder and adding a tabs module. Inside the tab module you can select a style for the tabs. (please note two new style added for the tabs module with the latest update v1.1)
2) You can add tabs into your page by using a shortcode and you can find detailed instructions via the Shortcode Helper button where top menu of WP admin panel.
I’m glad to hear that you’ve found the sorting option. BTW there is a plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/ that lets you re-order posts and it may helps you in some cases.

How do you get the horizontal rule to overlap the following section?

Each content row (section) has 20px bottom and top padding (space) as default. You can change the values via row options and when set 0 to the top padding the first module (horizontal line for example) will be overlaps to the top.
