Hi there Greatives,
Congrats for this theme. I spent some minutes to explore RELOAD from A to Z (I hope). I’m very interested to buy it for one of my project which manage several authors (maybe more than 50). I have some pre sale questions to be sure I have properly understood your great work.
Forgive me please for this long list.
My questions please (from A to D):
A. About the menu:
The creative menu provides an animation. Can this animation be disabled?
B About the blog:
1.Can ‘Large media‘ and ‘small media’ blog styles provide call to action section like inside other blog’s styles?
2. It seems 9 posts are published but we can only see 6 inside ‘blog 3 columns’. How can we access to older posts?
3. Can we insert more than one call to action section inside blog’s templates?
4. Inside blog posts, the author’s name is displayed at the bottom of each post. But inside blog templates, the author’s name only appears inside ‘Large média’ template and ‘Small media’ template. Is there a parameter to make it appears in each blog template?
5. About blog posts again: the author’s name only appears at the bottom of each post. If I have properly understood, we can access to archives authors only if we provide an ‘Author’ tag inside each post.
Is providing author’s name inside all template with author’s name link to author’s archives an option inside RELOAD?
Actually, to build my multi-authors blog, the best for this project is to provide the ability to find everywhere authors’ archives (except inside ‘About Author’ at the bottom of each post).
C About the portfolios:
1. Just to be sure, can we disable the comments for selected portfolio’s items?
2. Inside each portfolio’s item, there are sharing options. Can these options be unique for each item?
3. Can we build unlimited portfolios with RELOAD or is there only one with different setup options?
4. If we can build unlimited portfolios, can we set exclusive categories for each one?
5. If I have one portfolio with 400 items, how does it run? I can’t see in the demo any ‘load more’ stuff or pagination.
6. Inside 5 columns portfolio, there are only 10 items but 12 are published inside all other portfolio’s set up. Where are the missing 2? How can we access to these 2?
7. In another project, I use a theme with VISUAL COMPOSER. In this other project I can use VISUAL COMPOSER to provide for example a block of few blog’s posts inside any page. Is it also possible with RELOAD? Actually, I need to insert inside each portfolio item, a block of last blog’s posts from a specific author.
D. About the sidebars:
Can we make unlimited sidebars?
As you can see, I like RELOAD very much. I’m looking for ‘the perfect theme for my last project’. Very sorry for this very long list of questions.

A. About the menu
Yes, this animation can be disabled (hardcoded – not from the backend)
B. About the blog
1. Yes, you can add call to action section anywhere you wish.
2. It’s just a setting for preview purposes. We selected only 9 posts for this page.
3. Yes, you can add as many as you wish.
4. Reload provides 5 different styles for your Blog (Grid style, Masonry style, Large media, Small media and Labeled style) so any user is able to select according to his current needs. At this moment, the author’s name appears only inside two styles, Large Media and Small Media.
5. In user’s profile there is an option to insert a link for each author. For example: you can add a link like http://greatives.eu/themes/reload/author/greatives/ in order to have the author’s archive by anyone who clicks on Author tag inside a post. For presentation reasons, we selected to insert an external link. In large media style anyone can find the author’s archive by clicking on his name. In single post, you can have it by clicking on “About Greatives”.
C. About the portfolio
1. Sure you can disable the comments for any portfolio item you like.
2. No, you can set the sharing options for portfolio only globally, from the backend of Reload.
3. Sure you can have unlimited portfolios.
4. This is a function which is in to-do list.
5. Pagination in portfolio has been already implemented for our scheduled update (next week)
6. It’s just a setting for preview purposes. We selected only 10 items for this page.
7. You are able to use any blocks of blog’s posts in any page you prefer. Blog element does not support this function at this moment.
D. About sidebars
You can have 5 widget areas but in future release anyone will be able to create unlimited widget areas.
Last but not least, sorry for the delayed response. If you have further questions, it would be preferable to use the contact form or our support foru, and not the comment form. We have no problem with the comment area, but we think that we create “ugly” pagination for the Themeforest.

Please check that you have installed the latest version of Reload (version 1.0.3). There is no compatibility problem with the latest version of Reload and WP 3.9

I have having a maddening issue.
When I go to the bottom on a page, editing it. I select the page options I want, for example, I check the box to hide the page title. I go up, hit ‘Update’. Then…my settings were not saved. The box is magically unchecked and the page title is not hidden.
I can do the same for page width for example. I can set it to full width, go up, save the page, and when the page reloads all of the default settings are back.
Any advice?

It seems that you have already installed Visual Composer. You probably don’t use a clear installation.
Firstly, try to deactivate and unistall Visual Composer and then reinstall the version which is included in Reload theme.

Hi,
The single image that you see on this page is the featured image. You can have multiple pictures stacked vertically by using the Visual Composer and the Single Image element. Check this screenshot http://prntscr.com/3abt81 The images in single portfolio do not need a specific size.

I’ve done the installation and not charge me the higher menu svg contact, search and share. Nor do I load the up arrow.

Visual Composer works perfect at portfolio. Are you sure that you have enabled it? You have to go on Settings—>Visual Composer and check the content type portfolio.

Glad you like Reload. Yes! Sure you can. First of all you can create a gallery above your portfolio content ( http://greatives.eu/themes/reload-classic/portfolio/cras-vitae/ ). Besides that, via Visual Composer you can add multiple images (galleries) within a single portfolio item.

The images included in preview are for demonstration purposes only. Most of them are used from markjsebastian, picjumbo.com and unsplash.com.

Hi there. Very nice theme. I really like the bottom logo / buttons in combination with the right side black vertical menu.
Is it possible to permanently have that showing and have the content adjust horizontally to account for it? Obviously right now the content shows behind the menu.

Unfortunately, Reload has not been designed for the style you describe. At this moment, Reload provides two completely different header-menu styles (one click change in the backend) in order to satisfy multiple users’ categories.
However, we will consider any suggestion for future releases as to improve Reload. Thanks for your feedback!

Fair enough. What I personally dont care for on my sites is the 3 line horizontal menu button instead of the normal menu.
Let me give you a short example why: I had a site and theme that had something similar to your button and it had a terrible home page bounce rate of around 82%. After looking at google analytics and seeing the hotspots, I switched to another theme with a regular menu and using the exact same content the bounce rate dropped to down 31%. What that told me was those menu buttons don’t work well for many website visitors.
So thats a long way of asking if the theme can be forced to show the regular menu instead? Even on iPad / iphone vertical optimized views?

We completely understand your concerns around the menu and the practical way of navigation for many users. Remember, we just try to satisfy multiple users’ categories.
So, you would prefer the Classic version of Reload that will be forced to use the horizontal menu (or regular vertical) even on iPad/iphone. In such a scenario, responsive behavior is off. We can’t imagine how else this can occur.

Is it possible to create a Testimonial Page or column using this theme?

Testimonial is a custom taxonomy on Reload. You can make multiple categories and testimonial items. Afterwards, you can use the Testimonial element (extended in Visual Composer) to add testimonials in any page or column.

In page http://greatives.eu/themes/reload-classic/classic-elements/ you can see the two different styles for testimonial (horizontal and vertical navigation). By saying “custom taxomony”, we mean something like classic posts in WP. You have the ability to create categories and new testimonials (like new posts) to publish your content. Then, use the Testimonial Element to show testimonials anywhere you like. Check these screenshots http://prntscr.com/39f7ko , http://prntscr.com/39f7nf .

Any plans to integrate Slider Revolution so it can be an option to use as main slider? Not bothered about it being included as a copy—just ability to use so it can control full width elements and not be restricted to page/container elements.

As you can notice in Creative Page you can have a video backgound as element anywhere you like. You can also watch this video tutorial https://vimeo.com/channels/720134/91531914.
Keep in mind that in Original version of Reload you are not able to use a video element above the header. The elements that can be used above header are: Parallax Slider, Single Image and Google Map. However, video on top will be one of our next features.
