Probably you didnt upload the theme the right way.

You need to upload these files and sub-folders (http://d.pr/i/ZwOZ) into /wp-content/themes/ironband/

Ok, the theme works, however how can we make the same site into a mobile version. Since its a responsive theme, isnt it supposed to do this automatically? our website is www.thelabel.se

In a musical theme should not miss the icons of social music sites

For the social media icons you see, we actually use Font Awesome Library. All Icons you can find on their library can be used very easily into our theme: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/
If the icon is not available, you have the option to add icons (images) manually. Here’s a screenshot to show you how: http://d.pr/i/39Bl
A lot of people (including us), have requested Font Awesome to include SoundCloud icon into their next updates. We cross our fingers.

What size should have the custom icon? Yesterday I tried it with one taken from SoundCloud but did not line up well with the other icons.

Thank you. However, when I load a custom icon, there is some bug when you store the settings. In my case I have, in this order: facebook, twitter and youtube. When I add soundcloud with the custom icon and save the settings, the icon is added to facebook tab

You are right. We are pushing right now a fix for this issue. It should be available to download later today. So you would just have to update the theme and this bug will be fixed in version 1.6.6

After upgrading to version 1.6.6, when you upload a custom icon for social media, it does not align well with the others and also the hover effect does not work.
Look at this: http://bit.ly/Sd9d8WThen if you try to remove the icon from the admin panel, when you save, the icon is not removed. You have to completely delete the tab of the social network. In my case, then the bug is not fixed. I look forward to a new update.

the option for custom icon is there in order to let people upload their own set of social media icons. All your icons should be the same size so they will be perfectly aligned.
Also, the hover will not work since icons needs to be .jpg or .png. We can`t have the same hover effect on jpg than on transparent icons or fonts.
We dont recommand that you use both the Awesome font library icons mixed with custom icons.

it suppose that you copy the theme folder on wordpress theme folder and it will work. It does not na di am wonder why someone selling a theme like this that does working. The documentation says only copy the folder, nothing esle…big help…

Make sure you upload zip file containing the folder ironband (not the zip file that contain documentation, psd, etc..).Just a feature suggestion.
On the Album page, and on the tracks a button for lyrics that opens in a lightbox or similar might be useful. With the lyrics being added when adding tracks. Hope that makes sense

Hi, the theme looks very nice! Before I purchase I have some questions: Is it possible to show the videos from the grid in a lightbox that opens (as the photos?) Is it possible to integrate a sidebar or two rows? Does the slider crop the images into the size (like nuevo slider does) or do I have to crop the pictures before I load it into the slider? There is no theme option to open video in a lightbox sorry. It’s possible to integrate a sidebar on every pages except the homepage.
For the two rows, I don’t exactly understand….can you elaborate ?
the slider will resize your picture to always fit full width of the slider. So if you upload a “portrait” image (so let say 1000px X 3000px), slide will resize the picture with a ratio of 1144 x ??? so you wont see the bottom of your picture.
I always recommand to crop photo before loading them into the slider. This way you have total control and also you can optimize your image so it make the site loads faster.

Loving the theme but I am wondering about a couple of things
Basically I have had to take over this site for someone and we want to use the theme but there is some problems that I want to find out :
Is it possible to disable the lightbox that comes with the theme as they already have a gallery and both of them tend to clash ,I know its probably a php file but which one and I can remove it myself ?
Also is it possible to have albums as a widget on the home page ?

Which Lightbox are you talking about ?
It’s not possible to have a custom widget for albums on the homepage. We didnt developped this custom widget. However, you could use a TEXT/HTML widget, and put the code you want into it.

Sorry the one that they have been using is Lightbox with Colourbox and when I click on the gallery it basically selects both Lightboxes so they overlap ?
Then when I turn the plugin off the lightbox effect does not work on the gallery but works on the ironband photo page which means you guys must have like a default plugin with the theme ?
I would not mind changing but the gallery they have has hundreds of photos and works quite well so would be quite a lot of work to change it over
Is it even as simple as selecting the lightbox effect you guys have in code for each of the gallery pages?

We use lightbox by default. You could desactivate it if you want. Unfortunately, I can’t help you on this one. Support covers getting setup, trouble using our theme, and bug fixes. We can’t provide support for custom modifications and plugin integration.

Great theme, I have a few questions: 1) Is there a way to remove the text overlay on the slides?

yes its possible to remove the text overlay. Just leave the fields completely blanks.
For the multi-day events, sorry, this is not possible. You would have to duplicate your gigs.
