is it possible that the words in the Portfolio ´ ? Back to the Portfolio ´ ... Next project ? ´ and so on … can be changed in to german? And is it possible to change the attributes ´Filed under´ .. and so on as well? I need other Titels also in German. The same for the ´share´ Button i would need german translation.
And can i delete the Googlemap in the contact side – it always comes even when i deleted all text and save it.
Just that you know, i´ve alreadey instal the plugin Completely Localized, but the words don´t changes in the frontend, please tell me the file where i can change them!!!

I’m really interested in your Skylab theme as I currently have a website with a similar theme but the author has since deserted it and now it’s no longer supported.

Before I purchase I wanted to find out about Skylab’s scalability as we cater to hundreds of images and soon thousands, so I’m really after performance, scalability and ease of customization.
I also wanted to find out about the front page images, is there a Pinterest style loader or a load more button after a few images appear on screen? Can I search these images by subject and content? I know there will be a fair bit of customizing on my part, I’m just trying to figure how far I can push it.
On final thing, I’ll be using Portfolio (Fixed Width) more than likely, and wanted to know if that section with the text can house lets say an ad or graphic?

Hi, it’s impossible to scale a full size image without either the width or height being copped due to varying browser dimensions.
Hi – thanks, I was hoping to set it to ‘fixed height’ or imageScaleMode: ‘fit’, I am aware this means the image will not fill the screen – but it will show the whole image – not cropped at all – which is what I need. How do I set that?

I have a horizontal bar at the bottom of my Slider portfolio while on this site: http://dukesphotography.com/peopletwo/ it does not exist. Even on the demo site Themeforest the navigation bar exists. As can be done to remove especially if it moves there is no longer the image.

at the post pages, how I can switch places of ‘Newer’ and ‘Older’ navigation buttons, so link to Older post will be on the left side and Newer will point to the right. This way navigation seems more logical for me.

Can you help with a little “trick”: now when visitors are staying at slider’s page which is located at third level of a menu (for example – http://igorsoykaphotography.com/testing-7-images/ – it’s under Black & White Photography -> Cuba -> Bestsellers) a menu is stays closed. Is it possible to do something for a whole menu (Black & White Photography) was opened and underlined a corresponding menu item (Bestsellers)?

I wanted to use a child theme to customize the theme :
- change example.com/”portfolio” to example.com/”my-own-name” - change, add or remane some fields in portfolio as client, date… - Change the position of tho field : for example all on the left like date :... client:... - etc.
But when i started the modifications in : - functions.php , i got this :syntax error, unexpected T_DOUBLE_ARROW in wordpress child theme - single-portofolio.php : error syntaxe too
I follow all instructions you gave to fmoreio (10 months ago), i google too and also read wordpress.org…stil the same issue. My goal is to do not have to rewrite my customizations after skylab update. I don’t see this :

Hi, you will need to use lack styles.
To install custom styles for your site navigate to Appearance > Theme Options > Style and add styles from the “styles” folder to “Custom CSS” block. You can upload a background for your sidebar/site from the theme options panel. You can find all the backgrounds here http://subtlepatterns.com/

That’s a shame, it is so important that one can order the portfolio the way he/she wants. It should not be determined by the date. Because some projects are very important and must be at the top no matter the date. So It would make your theme even better.

Hello, I just bought skylab theme but I can’t import your demo .xml file… I did all the first steps (“Importing the demo data” > 4), I selected admin but when I check import attachments nothing happen (then firefox or safari stopped)
I tried to split the xml, but it’s the same problem. I need help!

If you have any issues with the import, i.e. any errors, then you’ll likely need to increase the memory limit and try again. Here’s a guide of how to proceed if you come across issues:
Edit wp-config.php and enter the following at the bottom of the file:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘64M’); If you have access to your server’s PHP.ini file, then find the following line and increase the value, for example:
memory_limit = 64M Also try WordPress WXR File Splitter (RSS XML) http://www.rangerpretzel.com/content/view/20/1/

The problem isn’t in our theme but in your server configuration. We would suggest not to install demo data but create your own content.

Hi, I love this theme. But I can not find how to choose different portfolio styles, I need ”single project classic”. When I navigate to Portfolios > Add New, there are no portfolio styles options as it is in Gallery Type.
Portfolio Type have only 3 options: images, audio and video. No styles at all.
I deleted old theme version via FTP and upload new one, but it did not help.
Please help.

My ‘Add New Portfolio’ interface does not have any ‘Portfolio style’ options.
There is ‘Portfolio Type’ which has 3 options only: images, audio and video.
And ‘Slider Type’ with 3 options: Default, Full width, iosSlider.
That’s it. I can send you screenshots if you need it.
