Hi, i’ve tried to instal the theme but i bump in to some problemes and the host did find something :

I investigated your case and I noticed that the problem is with installed plugins on your Wordpress website. The plugin are ninja-forms and envato. I have disabled them and the site is loading now.

When i install and activate your theme al goes blank with warning errors. Any idea what is happening?

Is anybody else experiencing a white bar just above the footer on the homepage with a black background? Wish they had a support forum…

Shawn

Take a look here on why we dont have a support forum: http://www.mikeyd.com.au/2013/10/10/why-forums-are-a-bad-tool-for-customer-support/

try add this to custom css: #content > *:last-child{margin-bottom:0!important}

The comments on Themeforest are also searchable :)

The Shop page isn’t working :( I am receiving this error, regardless of which page i select in settings: “You need to select your Shop page in wp-admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Products.”

I also installed the demo content, and it would have been helpful to know that no images are included, so if you import the dummy site, the entire site is filled with grey rectangles.

Deleted demo content, shop page now working.

“You need to select your Shop page in wp-admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Products” is just normal text added to the “Shop” page. This is the page you should select as your Shop page.

You need to replace the gray images with your own. The demo images is copyrighted. “Product images or images used in sliders and banner examples are not included in this theme” Is written in the theme description.

I tried to install this theme into wordpress but it failed and I got the following response:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

can anyone help me with this?

hi UX-themes,

How to extend the width of dropdown column menu. The title of my sub menu item so long, so I need extend the width of menu dropdown column. I see in demo, the dropdown column is pretty small.

Please help to do it thanks, tranmkt

Try add this to custom CSS: ul.header-nav li .nav-dropdown li {min-width:200px} (default is 170px)

Hi!

Our main shop page display all products by default, not categories (http://domainname/shop/). Please how inlude blocks or banners after product frame as on the following page : http://flatsome.uxthemes.com/product-category/men/?

Hello. Yes it is! Do I need customise Theme Settings > HTML blocks > HTML before footer (Global)? Is that always Global?

Yes, sorry. But we’ll make an field in the Category edit page for next version :) Currently its only possible to add content to top of the category page.

Thanks. That will be useful!

hello.

how can i use flatsome child?! what is it for?

Hi, learn about child themes here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

How can I make my homepage the blog but also retain a full width slider?

Im also getting a huge blank gap space in the shop page between my products and the “Showing 1 out of xx products | Default Sorting” Why is that? On yours there is barely any gap.

Nvm about the gap space, woocommerce ajax navigation does not work well with this theme just a heads up. It caused the gap and also does not refresh properly when I say click an item with 2 items it wont refresh unless i refresh the whole page. Something you may want to look at.

Yeah. The WooCommerce ajax navigation currently gives a large gap. We’ll try have this fixed in next version.

Hi! Do you think its possible to add the effects (like sparkle) to the background short code? I can make it work for the sliders and ux banner but won’t appear on the background short code Thanks a lot

Currently only works for [ux_banner] shortcode. We’ll add it for Background shortcode also :)

Hello awesome people!

We’re working hard to continue develop this theme. Flatsome is our only focus and will be for a long period of time. We have big plans for it, but will still keep it smooth and fast :)

If you have any pre-sales questions, please post them here in the item comments and our team will answer them promptly.

Installation help, questions and complains should go to support@uxthemes.com

problem with compare feature

http://missionready.co.uk/product/belts-wide-paper-1820-siamet-f-size-1100-x-1900-mm-grit-150-10box/

just showing image, price and post name on compare click. the product has attributes and the settings under woo/tith is telling to show attributes on compare.

but not working

mark

any thoughts why this is not working on flatsome? the plugin developer suggests that if works on one theme but not another there is theme conflict.

Thanks

M

Are you sure you are running the same plugin version on both sides? The one on flatsome has some weird styling that hides the left column.

i check

Is it possible to show Cross-sells on single product pages?

Sorry, cross sells are only visible on cart page, but you can show upsell products :)

Hi. I’d like to have the columns in footer 2 laid out so that:

column 1 spans the first 3 columns (75% of the footer) and column 2 the last 1 column (the final 25% of the footer).

I can change the code in functions.php to the following:

‘before_widget’ => ‘ ’,

(changed large-3 to large-9)

But of course it changes all the columns in that footer to large 9.

Is there a piece of code that would keep the final column as large-3?

Thanks.

Ah,I currently don’t have a good solution for that. We’ll have an option to change columns of the footers in the future.

Ok thanks. Another good option which I have seen a lot in other themes is to have other page layout columns such as 3/4-1/4, 1/3-2/3 etc rather than just 1,2,3 or 4 columns.

Yeah, agree :)

Hi,

I want to setup my theme like your demo Megashop exactly but can not do that. Can you help to send demo content (xml) of Megashop demo version ? I love your theme and looking for your feedback.

Thanks, Tranmkt

Hi, click “Load preset” in Theme Option panel :)

oh, simple. thanks

Great theme ! Thanks ^^

Thank you :)

Hi how do i get the featured products to show up on my front page?

http://dayglowvintage.com

hi im also trying to get a banner onto my category page, i can only figure out how to on the shop landing page but not the category land pages.

Hi will u be replying my question on the category banner?

I noticed that the checkout page on your demo, http://flatsome.uxthemes.com/checkout/, if you dont enter any required fields, the errors does not disappear everytime you click on “Place order”, it just keeps piling up on the UI.

Current woocommere themes does not have this issue. Thanks.

The theme uses default WooCommerce functionality, but we’ll take a look. Thanks for noticing :)

Dear Team,

Thank you for awesome theme and tons of features! Just a really important request please implement feature to disable responsive or please advise how I can do it in the code? I understand that your theme based on Foundation FW and its exactly made as responsive FW, but please keep in your to do plans this thing.

Thank you one more time I am enjoying your theme, Regards, Hiun

Hi, its almost impossible to make Foundation not responsive. Sorry about that. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17443717/how-to-make-zurb-foundation-non-responsive

Any idea of Ajaxifying Add-to-cart (when clicked from the product page)? I like this theme and contemplating between this and another one which has AJAX

I think if you have a variation product you need to refresh the site anyway. This theme will not support ajax add to cart on product page.

But what about simple product? is it easy to implement AJAX otherwise? it goes without saying that flatsome is an eyecandy and i am inclined towards it. But AJAX for simple product at least is necessary.

We’ll take a look :) But I think we stick to woocommerce default functionality. That site seemed buggy when I tried the ajax thing.

Thanks for an amazing theme!

How can I disable the popup minicart, which appears when you add a product to cart?

Thank you!

Yes, you can do that by going to “Theme Option > Product page” :) Take a look at the first option.
