Hello,
How can we disable the portfolio text scrolling along with the page. So it’s just the portfolio image on the left column, and the static text on the right column. Nothing scrolling when user scrolls down.

Greetings! Having trouble figure out how to make the portfolio video project display in a nice big player with arrows on either side to scroll through the video like in your demo.
I’ve created a new portfolio item and added videos but they are displaying vertically down the page can’t seem to figure out how to get them into a slider like function. Thanks!

Hi great theme and great new portfolio section well done and especially like the grid icon for back to main portfolio page and left and right arrows that bring users on to the next project. One thing that would be good from a usability perspective – with the left and right arrows to view next portfolio project at the end of the single project page – is to have text there beside the arrows to say < next project next project >.
This is a feature request – how about some variations on hover effect. This is going to be one of my purchasing decisions on future themes however I don’t see too many themes that offer hover variation, after all not everyone wants icons on hover, I know I don’t, call me a purist, hover effects fade on white without an icon, just white hover effect to bring users to single project page. Also a colour change effect without any icon appearing and colour change with text in the middle eg: project title.
On the global options in Qode – the First main colour down to seventh main colour I spent ages – trial and error – seeing what the first main colour change did to the theme, same for the other colours – I think you would be better to have a description after the colour options in the admin to say what each of the seven global colours options do on the elements in the theme. I mean who is going to know what global colour five is going to do unless one goes back to the theme searching for the effect. What do you think guys? would you think about putting this in.
Looking forward to the Visual Composer fix, how is this coming along, will there theme update be there to see when done.

We are developing new framework which will solve all of the problems and implement all ideas you shared with us, but it will take time to complete it and I am not sure it can get applied to existing themes, but only to future ones.
We are working on upgrading theme to latest version. There is good chance this can get completed tomorrow.

Hello there^ love the theme. However I have couple of questions: 1. I need to put social icons for sharing into the footer. Do i need to download a plugin and put it into the footer through Costomize? 2. I have Last posts on my home page, however it goes without pictures, even if my last posts have them. But i really need them be with their pictures 3. Also, I put multiple Images with text. I need them to be links to other pages, where do insert costomise url? I couldn’t find it image setting

Few questions, can I globally disable animations – thereby making it more readable in IE8? Would this help for that browser do you think? I think it would help with page loading regardless. Also, can I create a page with a sidebar where the sidebar appears first before the main page content on mobile devices? Would a left sidebar versus a right one be the answers – or can I even do this with this theme. Thanks for all your help.

hi, i would like to center the logo but i want the menu toggle to remain where it is by default on the right. Currently when selecting the Center Menu option in Qode settings both Logo and Menu Toggle are centered one on top of the other.

Our contact form allows only showing/hiding website field. You can change labels of fields using translation plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/.

Does this mean I cannot install the WooCommerce plugin to add shop functionality? How would I go about creating a ‘Shop’ section with a cart/checkout?

Our website Visual Composer plugin is not working after the new install of wordpress 3.9.
This problem can be resolved by updating the Visual Composer plugin, however – this is built into your themes.
How can i delete this in-built version, so i can then install the stand-alone plugin which i have purchased?

We’re having a couple of issues with some functionality:
Issue 1 -
Ajax load not working properly. When first landing on the homepage, the spinner doesn’t show. When navigating between pages the spinner shows but the content behind is visible before the page has completed loading and the spinner has disappeared.
Issue 2 -
Blog page is not working properly. Breadcrumbs in header doesn’t highlight the ‘blog’ as active.
&
When clicking on the author link or category link, we would like the header to maintain the breadcrumb style – Currently it reverts back to the original central heading type text in the title-holder.
We would also like to change the current ‘Author: Author_Name’ to the same as the River demo page where it says ‘Articles posted by Author_Name’

I raised a ticket yesterday on http://qode.ticksy.com about the following but am yet to recieve a reply perhaps you may be able to assist me.
I’m having issues with the htaccess file on my site I think this may be being caused by your theme River.
The theme’s functions.php file has a function called ‘create_post_type’, at the end of that function it calls a WordPress function ‘flush_rewrite_rules’.
all documentation says this is a bad thing to do see https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/flush_rewrite_rules
Does this need to be there as errors are occurring when the htaccess file re-writes causing internal server 500 errors if it does need to be there is there a solution to stop it having to re-write the htaccess file or could any of the suggestions in the included link be implemented and if so how and where?

Yes, we fixed that in newer theme. You should delete that line and add following code to functions.php:

function rewrite_rules_on_theme_activation() {
flush_rewrite_rules();
