Hi Pirenko. I don’t know if there’s anything you can do about it. But I noticed that both the blog images (single) and the portfolio images (single) don’t load on an android tablet in combination with FF. I tried a Samsung Tab 2 & an Acer. It works fine on chrome though. Doesn’t seem to give any problems on the normal Samsung browser either… But it’s still a significant amount of people that don’t see the images.

Ehm, didn’t check that – but I double checked with your website (the demo version here) and the same happens. On both devices. Android + FF. Same for the social sharing. They just don’t show / work.
Well I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II and it seems to be fine, but I don’t have that browser installed. I will try to install it to test that issue.

Maybe you could help me with one more thing. I don’t know if that’s included in the support. But I added social follow buttons for Google +, Twitter & Linkedin. The problem I’m facing is that they don’t always load. For some reason the page load happens before those buttons are fully loaded. Making them not appear most of the time. It’s most likely due to the loading effect.
Does this Social buttons issue also happen on the preview? If not please update the theme. Send me an email anyway… Thanks!
It’s something completely new. Can’t compare it. I’ll look for a solution myself. I made some completely different with your theme as the base. So I don’t think that’s going to be covered. I’ll mail you though regarding the android / ff issue.

I just did the template update, yes a bit behind, but now when I go in to edit the text on a page or on a portfolio item, in the Visual Tab of the Edit Text box, it’s just white. If I highlight the text that should be in there, the highlight shows the coding.
When I click on the Text Tab, the coding does show up how it’s supposed to.

For WP 3.9 compatibility you need to update the theme and the bundled plugins (Samba Framework and Visual Composer for Samba).
After doing this you should not have any trouble.

hi i recommend adding -webkit-transform: translate3d(0,0,0); to #top_bar_wrapper like this it will speed up performance due to the gpu handles the fix element so it feels fluid on low powered devices, it can also be used on other fixed elements like the side bar. with this little tweak i was able to achieve 60fps as a posed to 30fps =).

also any chance aesop support could be added to the theme http://aesopstoryengine.com/ so other users can benefit ( demo: http://playground.aesopstories.com/ ) it would not take more that 10 to 15 mins and the results are brilliant. it is very easy to add to the theme check out https://github.com/bearded-avenger/aesop-sample-theme and copy the file content-single.php to samba theme then add the css and js the theme its done. there is also some doc here http://aesopstoryengine.com/developers/#scrollNav-1. i have tried it on my site and it works really good especially the ajax request feels quick and responsive.

You can achieve this with a little “trick”. You need to create a portfolio item, set up a project link and select the option to “open portfolio link when thumb is clicked”. In this case your portfolio link will be a full screen slideshow page that you need to create before setting up the portfolio entry.

You can add some content under the slider, but it requires that we add some custom CSS to the theme. Maybe some custom scripting is also needed, but I can help you with this if you need me (no extra charge).

Hi how are you? I installed theme and see that i have a small problem with the user bar whem an user in login in site. The bar is over the options for article, for example likes or share options.

You can select the option to hide the bar under Users>your Profile>Show Toolbar when viewing site
Because those elements are fixed to the top I recommend that you do this if that situation annoys you. Cheers!

Have you ever meet problems with get_terms(‘pirenko_skills’) to the term table ? I have some crash when loading this page using ‘pirenko_skills’ (grid portfolio and single) but it seem to be randomly, i don’t understand… If you have noticed something about this , please tell me… thanks

What is the crash error report message? Did you tried activating the database repair option? More info on this here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Automatic_Database_Optimizing
Also if you have any active plugins please turn them off and the same applies to changes that you have eventually made to the theme (if you have changed it try using the theme original files for a moment).

That taxonomy is declared under wp-content/plugins/samba_framework/custom_post_types.php so feel free to analyze it.

Once again: if you have a detailed error log send me a private message with it. But this should be related with the changes that you made to the theme or a plugin you are using, because I don’t have any similar report.

No i’ve no log because when error occurs, i,’ve no error on the page , just a blank page still searching…So it looks like an error with the server but my provider don’t think so…Error occurs even if i have a blank page only with only the get_terms function in code
