The lightbox solution is a custom styled version of fancybox2 that can be enabled/disabled in the theme options.

Couple of questions: - How can I add links to the footer? Like in the example site for the email and facebook link - How can I add buttons to the footer? - What is the rule for the retina displayed images eg. logo, pictures (to make sure they will be sharp and clear on iDevices).

Use the Theme Options to edit the footer social icons with the [social] shortcode. Retina images are double the size of a normal image so it can scale and display nicely on retina ready devices. Glad you like the theme, have a nice day!
Thank you! What I meant by the foot is the “Footer Area 1” bit. This is the place where you have a button in the demo but I can’t replicate. The link would be in “Footer Area 3”, same as the demo has.

Hello, I tried changing the contact form map location. Changed to the google maps geo cordinates but now only a grey page is showing. Changed it back to the original, and it is still just a grey page… Could you help, please? Also, thank you for your email.

I am loving this theme—fantastic design. I’ve been slowly working with it for a friend, and have run into a strange issue that I can’t seem to solve.
I was posting a couple blogs for him, and can’t seem to get paragraph spacing to work properly. I’ve tried adding
in the code, but the gap it creates is giant. I am likely missing something obvious—help? Here is a link to a blog example—all mushed together, even though spaces are added on the post-end. http://waynethervguy.com/why-i-love-to-camp/.

Hi, thank you for your comment and appreciation. The problem on the preview URL you sent me is that you use <div> elements to handle paragraphs – you should be using <p> elements. Use the Text mode Editor to have more control over the content. Hope this helps.

This problem seems to be specific to this theme. I asked a programmer friend what you meant by the above and he told me I needed to go in and manually delete all the div tags (this works but is very tedious), which have been auto-generated within your theme. I cannot see any place to make a code change to auto-generate p tags instead of div tags, and have been told all blogs I write for this particular theme need to be written in a program that strips html and is then copy+pasted into the wordpress ‘post’ window. This seems silly. Do you have an alternative solution? I have checked several other themes I work with, and none are having this issue. It must be possible to stop the auto-generation of div tags.

Hi Michelle, there is no way the theme adds any extra <div>’s – it’s how you edit the post’s content the way it is displayed. As I previously suggested (and your friend suggested too) is remove those extra div elements that offer no formatting (no bottom margin). Use the Text editor mode and you’ll be just fine.

How strange—because they really are. I’m handing this over to a client who will not understand the deleting of div tags in the text edit window. I really think this should be unnecessary—I work with wordpress themes on a very regular basis, and have never run into this. If there is something I’m doing on my end, please let me know—but should someone not be able to hit “new post”, add a title, type a blog, and hit “publish” without worry of formatting issues on basic paragraph breaks? I’m very frustrated—although if it’s something I can change in the code—I would really love to. I know it’s possible for this to not be an issue—checked three other themes I’m working with right now—none have this issue. There must be some way that allows use of the default post/formatting window—let me know your thoughts.
Would it help if I recorded a screen capture to show what’s happening?

Hi, you are using the Retina Ready option turned on right? That makes the logo scale half it’s size at 330×39 to make it display better on retina devices. You can either increase the logo size or disable the retina option. Hope this helps Marco.

Hi, make sure you update the theme to it’s latest version and that the bundled plugin Cerchez Core is updated to 1.22 (at least) too. The issue was fixed when 3.9 was pre-released in beta stage. The plugin version that is installed is 1.0 not 1.22. It’s not a searchable plugin so I’m not sure how to update it. Can you advise?

Hi Jorge, thank you for your purchase. Please check out the Theme Options, you’ll find a setting to turn on/off the footer “scroll to top” button. I love the theme, just one question, Can I change the size of the video-header in the home page? right now is taking a lot of screen space and I want it to be a bit smaller.

Hi, of course you can change it via a simple Custom CSS snippet, but the video has a certain aspect ratio that should be respected. Maybe the header is not the best section for you (because it is full-width of the viewport) and a smaller video in the content area would be more appropriate. Another factor you should consider is different screen sizes – the video may look to big on your screen, but on a medium/big monitor it may look perfect. How do you get the different filters to show up on the portfolio page? (Where it says “ALL | CREATIVE | IDEAS | IN HOUSE” ).

Is it safe to update to WP 3.9?
Sure, the preview also runs on WP 3.9.
The theme is missing some files with the included Cerchez-core plugin. Specifically, cerchez-core/utils/rwmb/inc/init.php and cerchez-core/utils/rwmb/inc/common.php
Without those files, the errors cause my admin section to stop functioning. I had to manually create empty versions of them just to get back into my admin section.
UPDATE: I disabled some plugins I had installed from a previous theme and the errors stopped. I suspect that some functions might have had the same name. I don’t know which plugin it was specifically, but the plugins included: Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPress, LayerSlider WP, LBMN Projects, Meta Box, Tfingi Megamenu Plugin, WooSidebars, and WPBakery Visual Composer
Hi, the metabox plugin probably caused the issue – will look into a solution for the 2 plugins to coexist without issues (until then just disable it).
