The theme is great, One question currently – Can you tell me a user frontend posting plugin that will work with this theme? Currently any user submitted image will not be piped into the featured image or inline sections.
Also on the frontpage, is it possible to modify the size of the caption box below the image. We don’t have much text for each images so it looks quite empty,
Could it also be possible to remove all the caption boxes and just have images for certain categories ? Would be a great addition

we haven’t tested any plugin, so we really can’t recommend any.
If you have CSS knowledge then you can make this customization with caption box bellow the image (you should change CSS and then you’ll have to change size of this Box).

I figured out how to remove a page title in the css, but still can’t figure out how to remove the post category title in my blog, I know I must be close in the CSS…thanks for your help!!!

Hi, that’s because you’ve put ‘link to attachment page’ when you inserted gallery (and you should’ve put ‘link to file’).
So, when you click on thumbnail, on gallery page, lightbox tries to load attachment page (ie: http://www.ofercohen.co.il/mybook/img_4660/) and not image itself.

where do you see the link? all i did is inserting images, via the “insert media” and chose to insert a gallery and not single image. there is no place to chose the any attachment or link, can you explain please what am i doing wrong?

when i define the post to be a gallery, there is no images on top of the gallery, all i can see is the dots… to move from one image to another (but no images) and the thumbnail bellow.

When you create gallery there is a select box, in the right upper corner, from which you can choose ‘link to media file’ (this is built in wordpress feature).
There is no lightbox support for images inserted via page builder, besides that lightbox doesn’t work by just ‘inserting images into content’ (using page builder or any other way). Usually smaller image that you see is wrapped in a link which ‘points’ to the real (big) image. That way lightbox plugin ‘knows’ which image to load.
You can insert lightbox images using page builder, but you should use ‘Text box’ and enter necessary HTML code. I’m not familiar with the ‘simple lightobox’ plugin, so it’s best to read plugin documentiation or contact plugin author.
Post gallery: this sounds really strange. You know that to display images you need to upload images from the ‘edit post’ screen, and not from media library, for images to be shown?

1- when clicking on images from posts on the home page, there is no link to the post itself, only when clicking on the post title. is there any way to link the post image to the post too?
2- when i insert several images to a post, both by the page builder or by the gallery, and define the post as gallery post, than at the post itself, all the images push down, when viewing it.

If you put link or # it will show this icon. If the field of social network is blank then you’ll not show this icon.

Hi, those settings are for social media icons, not social buttons which appear on post/page pages.
There is a ‘list’ of all supported social networks, you just need to enter your social media account URL and icons will appear under menu.

I use the theme Ubergrid and it is really easy to make individual setting, but I have one problem. How can I put something on the left under the logo. It is possible to put there sites, but nothing elese. I want to put there categories or the latest posts, but it is only possible to put this on the right. Both Widget Areas are only on the right site.

Has anyone else experienced the theme getting highjacked by porn spam? I’ve had reports that on mobile, the site generates porn pop-ups. I upgraded and that seemed to solve the problem…for about a day. None of the other sites on the same server are having these issues. A friend who is familiar with WP suggested the issue was the theme. Any thoughts?

When a new post chosen, after click on “Upload” (for Featured section) media windows to pick up picture is no pop up on screen at all.
