LOVE this theme. My blog has never looked better. The only problem is, when I look at my site from other computers (friends and family), the sidebar doesnt show up on any of the pages. Looks perfect on my end! Help!

Hi,
thanks for your comment.
As this theme supports infinite scroll on homepage, right sidebar isn’t showed on homepage. We are showing it on a single page (post) bellow the content.
We’ll think about this feature for next updates.
Thanks

I know there isn’t infinite scroll on the right sidebar, it’s just not showing up on either homepage or posts on other peoples computers. It looks fine on mine, I see the sidebar on both homepage and post. This has nothing to do with any updates if you offer the option to put a right sidebar. I just want it to work on every computer…..
Hi,
right sidebar is working on computers on home page. Maybe the resolution of this computer is triggering mobile mode (responsive)? On the mobile mode, right sidebar is going bellow the post, and as we supports infinite scroll on our homepage then we can’t add sidebar bellow the content, because it can be endless content. It’s same on our demo page.
That’s why I said that we’ll think for this for next updates.

Hi, is it possible to get the menu on the header and not on the sidebar?
Hi,
for Ubergrid it’s not possible to get the menu on the header and it requires advanced customization.
We have a little bit different theme (Sympagrid) with top menu.

Hi!
How can I make sure my logo stretches full width in the mobile version? Right now it shrinks to a very small size, it’s almost ineligible.
Thanks! Ashleigh

First, I want to congratulate the team for such a beatiful and flexible theme.
I am using the theme v1.2.5 with WP v3.9.1
I have two questions:
1) Where can I change the title and “Leave a comment” font sizes both existing in the same page?
2) How can I adapt the title font type into Turkish alphabet? e.g. Some characters with”spot” are not viewed.
Thanks for the answers.

Hi, great theme! But how I add same category widgets that shows different articles?
Hi,
thanks. What do you think about different articles?
You have widget areas and you can have core WP Widgets or you can add some more Widgets with some plugin or etc.

I mean on front page manager, when i create category widgets for the same category it shows the same article. Ex: I have a category Music, I create 2 small category widget on front page manager, the idea is that 1 widget shows the last article and other -1.
Hi,
this would requires some additional customization.
Category Front Page Box is made to show latest post from category you choose.

Hello,
I am planning to have ad banners on the right side widget area. They are fine on computers, but not on smartphones etc. Is is possible for those widgets to be visible on mobile version of the site?
Hi,
on single pages widgets are bellow posts, while on grid category pages (homepage) they aren’t shown because of infinite scroll. So, one of the options is to add Custom Box on your grid pages where you can show ads, also.

Hi, thanks for a great theme, I got it in a bundle. What’s the latest version #? I have 1.2 and I can’t find the option to use HTML in Page Builder. Thanks
Hi,
Latest version is 1.2.5 and we’ll soon have 1.2.6.
Maybe you can think about Standars License, because then you’ll have updates available ( incl html in page builder ) and premium support.
Thanks
Thanks and I’ll probably buy the standard license. Tell me, I’ve found (what I think is) a problem. Is this fixed in the newer version?:
In Theme Settings/Style I can edit the color of the stripe below the brick boxes (small, medium, etc) But when I change it, the post-type icon (gallery, video) remains in the same color as the default.
I’ve found that it is hard coded in the stylesheet, so I could change it, but it would be good if I didn’t have to add additional styles.
Hi,
we are publishing new update this week and this is already fixed.

Excellent done! Beautiful design, installed in no time, and very easy to work with! Thanks and congrats! Well done, guys!
Thanks:)
Hi,
I was wondering with both the Ubergrind and SympaGrid themes, are you able to within the settings make each box on the homepage (for blog posts) the same size?
Kind Regards, Chris
Hi,
Yes. You can choose size for every post, so you can also have same sizes for every (there is even possibility to choose default size)

There are some inconsistencies regarding featured images.
In a gallery post, when I replace the featured image for another one (uploaded to the post) and I do not delete the old one, the old one appears (as expected, according to your response) on the single post and on grid category view, but the new one appears on non-grid view.
when I go and delete the old featured image, then no featured image appears on single post, on grid view there is white (no image) and in non-grid view the new (current) image appears.
In fact, I could change the featured image for any image from media library as featured and it will always show in non-grid view—but never in single or grid view.
If after that I decide I don’t want a featured image and remove it, it will still appear in single and in grid view, but in non-grid view it will not be visible anymore.
But then, if I delete the image file of the removed featured image, then single and non-grid will be ok (no featured image) but in grid view there will be a white placeholder area, with the color line below, as if there should be a featured image. It doesn’t look like posts that never had a featured image (and it should)—So I’m forced to go and add a new featured image.
The only case that the featured image is consistently replaced is when I upload a new picture as featured image.
However, if I change the post format from gallery to standard, all these problems disappear.
Thanks
Hi,
yes, you can add Gallery to Standard Post or you can use this Gallery Post Format, where it seems a little bit complicated but there are reasons why this is like this.

Would you be able to give me a shortcode or php to display the bricks in a certain category on another page ? I want to split my homepage ( top content bricks ) bottom half my own design.
Thanks
Hi, currently there isn’t shortcode for displaying bricks (but that’s a good idea for one of next updates) and php depends on what you exactly want to achive.
You want, on some other page, to display latest posts from specific category? You would probably want to be able to change number of post? As you want to ‘split’ page into two section you probably don’t need ‘infinite scroll’?

Hi, Im very new on wp. Actually I´m just learning. I bought your theme and wp says is missimg a style.css file. I read instructions from another comment. I found a style file and upload it via ftp to the css folder cause it didnt specify on which one so I thought it should be in that one. So when I go to wp and install the theme it does appear there but it takes me to a blank page where its suppose to be the theme. I think I did something wrong with the style.css file.
Hi,
please send us WP login / url / ftp login via private msg and we’ll help you to install it.
Thanks
do you have an email? or where can I send the private message?
I found it and sent it..thanks
It’s online now
Hi, I’ve noticed a weird behavior —or it’s mine again— regarding the gallery post format.
If I create a new article for a photo gallery (in Gallery Format), created from scratch from new images uploaded from my computer, the top slider above the title works fine and well.
However, if I create a new gallery from preexisting uploaded images from/within the media gallery (already used in a gallery for example), the slider does not play at all. I have to delete all images from wordpress and re upload them again to fix this.
Any Ideas ? Cheers, E.
Hi E,
for Gallery Posts Types, you need to upload picture from that post in order to have them on Slider and Homepage.

Hi there, love the theme!
I am wondering if there is some detailed documentation on how to make gallery style posts? I see a couple of ways to do it, but sometimes when I remove a photo from the gallery, it continues to appear in the slider. Also I don’t know how to make the thumbnails show up as they do in the demo page here: http://themeforest.net/item/ubergrid-responsive-grid-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/6383212 It looks like the thumbnails and the slider contain different pics. I’m confused at how to set up a gallery where the thumbnails are in columns and the same photos appear in the slider for instance. And how do the featured image and secondary image work with a gallery? When I put a featured image into a gallery post, and then remove it, it continues to appear in the slider. I can’t seem to remove it. I just need to know basic steps to create a gallery. Both slider and column styles. Or do they both appear in every gallery? Thanks!
Hi,
thumbnails and slider will have all pictures that are uploaded through that Post, so it’s not enough to remove picture from Featured Image (you’ll need to delete it also).
To have a thumbnail you’ll have to choose Gallery Post Type.
Send us private msg and we can send you more screen shots if Documentation file isn’t good enough.

Hi, is there a way to add the search bar to the Home Page, below the Copyright text? I’d like to add just the bar with the word search next to it. The word “search” in white to match the home page fonts and without the grey box around it. Please let me know if possible? Thx! nuwavepony.com
Hi,
this would require customization, because there isn’t widget area on Left Sidebar.
Best
Hi, I’d really liked to have the search bar on my homepage\left side widget. Can we please discuss customization options and\or fee? thx
Hi,I’ve sent twice an e-mail about this but did not received any answer since +10 days.
I cannot find the reason why in grid category, only a few post (8 or 9 actually) are visible if grid layout for categories is used. There is also no “old post” or “show more” navigation item to go through more pages (How many post are loaded by default in grid category?)
If I use standard mode (not grid) the “old post” can be loaded because there is a navigation item menu visible at the bottom, but not in grid mode.
Also if i use the home page layout (without front page manager) the “infinite scroll” stop loading posts formats (only a few are showing like ~ 11 posts. All posts formats I’m talking about use soundcloud or youtube.
Thanks for your reply, E.
Hi E,
have you tried to set up number of posts on blog page (https://www.dropbox.com/s/9v0vaynp5so2pzm/reading_ts.jpg) ?
Second question we don”t understand? Can you give us screen shot?
Best
but still if I set for example 30 posts, I would like the user to be able to see the next posts too (31, 32, etc.), that’s my second question above, there no navigation in grid category for that:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4m3au6kf5hbizqg/grid-mode.png
but there is in normal mode:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/n6bvhzxg15yh041/normal-mode.png
Can I make make this visible with css in grid mode too ?
As now there “no limit” in grid mode, the home page does not show or load infinite scroll (only twelve actually), or is it because I need to set “Featured post?” on each article for the home page content?
Yes, you should set Featured Post if you want to have them on Homepage. Navigation on grid page would require more customization (not only CSS) because if you have infinite scroll then you can’t have this kind of navigation. We’ll think about this feature for next updates.
OK Thank you!
Hi, Just wondering if there is an option to have the menu right on the top, instead of having it on the left like the demo.
Hi,
there isn’t option to have top menu, but we have similar theme with Top Menu http://demo.pukkathemes.com/sympagrid/
All colors are customizable, so you can easily have similar colors as Ubergrid.

First of all, I would like to say great job on this theme. It’s gorgeous. That said, I have tried uploading the files via FTP and installing the zip file on the back end and I get PHP Errors.
Any ideas?

Scratch that – somehow I got it to work.
Great
Hi there, I just purchased the theme and am loving it so far. Your theme customization options are some of the easiest I’ve ever used.
I have a quick question – when I installed the theme, I could see under the Post Formats page (which is private if you visit it), I can see an image with various post formats including what looks to be a twitter post format. I can’t seem to tell how this was achieved to post a tweet as a post on the homepage, or at least to make a box that has the latest tweet without using a main or secondary widget space. Is this possible?
http://www.thefuturenaut.com/features/post-formats/Hi,
thanks for your comment.
There isn’t twitter post format, but it is possible to add Custom Box where you can paste code from Twitter, just as it is in our example for SympaGrid WordPress Theme
http://demo.pukkathemes.com/sympagrid/Best,
Thank you so much for your help. I was able to figure it out. I had one additional question. I am trying to change the background color of the sidebar and have entered the following into the Edit CSS page.
sidebar-bg {
color: #ffedb7; }
Am I updating this in the right place?
Thank you, www.thefuturenaut.com
Hi, to change sidebar backgroud color you should change ‘background’ attribute, not ‘color’ (‘color’ specifies text color). So you should use this:
#sidebar-wrap,
#sidebar-bg{
background: #ffedb7;
}
Regarding widget qestion, there are no widget areas in the left sidebar. So if you want widgets on front page you should enable right sidebar on home page (from Theme settings).

P.S.
When typing code into comments wrap them into or tags (no spaces). That way they won’t get messed up
