1. There’s a parallax option based on mouse movement and it’s only available through the visual composer row currently
2. Yes you can link the icon element in the theme by simply wrapping it in a standard HTML anchor

This may be a stupid question but is there a way to add any content to the blog page? For instance an image or some copy? Adding rows and text doesn’t appear.

Yes – just don’t use the “posts page” from Settings > Reading and instead use the visual composer blog element so you can control what’s above/below it

Is there an option to autoplay embedded video that opens in a lightbox, but NOT when the portfolio page is navigated to?
Adding the autoplay code in the code makes it autoplay in both scenarios.

I have the autoplay code on my vimeo embed codes so it will autoplay on opening videos in the lightbox as well as when you go to it’s individual page. I only want it to autoplay from the lightbox but don’t see an option do do that separately.
Thanks for the additional explanation to allow me to understand better – Unfortunately this wouldn’t be possible without custom development since it’s the same video being served in those locations.

Hey PairDesigners! If you went with a full width content row you’d have the option to vertically align the content, but without using that it would need to be done through css or the divider element.

It looks like the padding worked but when viewed on a iPhone the padding is and issue with the space showing up

I’m having a major problem with this theme. First off, I’ve loved it so far, but unfortunately it appears the blog does not work correctly. I have a standard blog setup with one of my articles appearing, however whenever I click on the article it takes me to a page where only the post title appears, and the post itself is blank.
How do I fix this?

Edit: Upon further investigation, no post that is selected as the standard format shows up. You can view the page, but it’s completely blank.
I’m also now getting this error:

I also saw someone else posted this exact error in a comment here about 5 hours ago. Is there a bug preventing posts from even showing? This is a very urgent matter.

Is your WordPress up to date? This is an issue caused by the Google+ sharing button when using earlier WordPress versions – please try and update your setup or deactivate the Google+ button for now (I’m pushing an update to correct this very shortly)

I’m having an issue where I create a ‘Gallery’ format post and place an ‘Image Gallery’ element in it with photos. The gallery works great on the post and the blog page, but shows up blank in the ‘Recent Posts’ widget on my home page (www.tmunz.com). Do I have to use a WP gallery rather than the Image Gallery element to get this to work?

The recent posts only shows the post excerpt so any media/elements other than text will be omitted from that – however the featured media will still show so I would recommend just switching the post format to gallery and proceeding with the default WP gallery

Hi, I would like to know if is it possible to remove the underline hyperlink effect from the buttons when mouse hover the buttons. Button label word and icon gets underlined when hovering the button. How may I remove the underline effect and get just the button/icon hovering effect?

there should be no underline effect by default – perhaps one of your plugins is adding it in? If not, can you share your URL so I can check out what’s causing it?

I tested all plugins and found it was Formidable Bootstrap that was causing it. I wasn’t really using it, so I deactivated it and everything is OK. Thanks for your support!

Awesome theme! Just one little problem, I’ve changed from the older theme to this new Salient theme. But all of the product thumbnails as well as I click in a specific product, they all look much more blurred than when it is fully opened in the slideshow (if you know what I mean). I’m sure they are good quality jpegs. Any help please?

Make sure the image size is set to 300×310 in your Product Image Sizes in the WooCommerce settings and then use this plugin to recreate the image sizes http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Pls improve the responsive design. Your responsive is NOT taking advantage of various screen size. The photo and text is so small when vertical or view on phone. I have try several theme, mostly show bigger image and text than yours, it is more easy on eye and wasting less visible space. Your left right is wasting too much space.
