I have recently been having issues with my new posts. I post something, it says it has published but it is not showing up on my homepage like it used to. I have gone into the actual post option and even tried making it sticky and it still does not work. This only started happening on Monday and now every few posts dont show up. The direct link to the post works but it is not on the homepage or under recent posts. Please help me. Example below: website is southernfolly.com 2 direct post links that are not showing up on the home page 1. http://southernfolly.com/garden-gun-fathers-day/ 2. http://southernfolly.com/window-ledge/
Both of your articles are on homepage. Garden gun article is on number 1 place and other is on number 3. I wonder why can’t you see it.
I recently purchased the theme, but am having difficulty when changing the permalink structure. Only the default setting works. When I change it to any of the other settings I get an HTTP Error 404.0 – Not Found as seen here
I got a response from you guys, that when the site’s moved over to a live server it should work, but I’m still experiencing the same issue after moving the site to a live server.

Do one thing, activate default WordPress theme and see if you are able to access the articles.
I changed the theme to Twenty Thirteen and the permalinks still don’t work.
Then there is a problem with your installation. Please contact your hosting provider.

Hello, On your webpage it says about layout options: 3-column masonry. I’ve installed the theme, but in Layout options I do not have 3-column option. Only 2-column with sidebar. What shoud I do to get 3 columns masonry?

There are 7 layout options and number 4 is 3 column.

Earlier I was using the images as you shown in the screenshot. But now I have updated the layout images in latest version that is still to be released.
We downloaded the theme yesterday. Do you mean that the 3-column masonry is not yet available?
It’s available. As I told you 4th layout is 3 column.
hello, I’m not sure if my problem is theme related or not, i am hving trouble with the Entries RSS included in the meta footer section, it gives a 404 error for some reason. the Comments RSS works just fine. here’s a link to my page:

hi, thanks for your reply, i checked the footer widget to remove it, it seems that the whole thing is bundled under “meta” and there’s no option to remove the “entries RSS” alone without removing the “log in” and such. is there any other way? sorry for the trouble.

I can’t see any slider on homepage. Moreover it’s not possible to change image size. Image sizes are pre-defined to fit the theme design.
I had the slider switched off and was just asking in general. I have it switched on again now. Please look again.
As for the images: I know they need to be cropped for that but how do i do that? I just want to be able to upload an image and have them all same-sized. Example: http://mwnw.nl
btw: I’m talking about uploading a “featured image” or post-thumbnail… I want them all to be 570×300 & either cropped or enlarged to fit that size.
All images you upload will be of same size if you upload all images more than 770px wide. If the images are smaller then they may be of different sizes.
And is there no way to fix that? And what about height? I have some writers that are excellent writers but they suck using image tools. They wouldný know how to crop images beforehand… The bigger the image, the taller in height it will show
The perfect size is 770×360px. Any image more than this size will be resized to proper size. It will not be taller if you keep the aspect ratio.
You’re missing the point… If the ideal size = 770×360 the ratio would be 2.139:1 Now, Instead of having fixed width and height, I rather have percentages to work with, so that an image of 500×300 would still be visible as 770×360. Or, in my case, using the boxed template with 3 sidebars, the ideal width and heigth for me would be 570×300 and ANY image I upload would be scaled and cropped to that size.
No in that case also image is cropped to 770×360 because ThemeForest reviewers don’t allow more image sizes.

Hello, i have a big problem with your theme, it’s really great but it takes 2min to appear even with all my plugins off – when i try with another theme it charge really fast max 3sec. I don’t know what’s the issue at your end but your site is loading fine here. It took just 7-8 seconds to fully load it. I also checked the page speed of your site and it is showing 5.29 seconds.

I love this theme. How easy it is to configure. I wonder, is it possible to easily change the size of the font and background color of Quote posts? I am not so familiar with css to make the manual change and I need to change it so it will be more visible.

It’s possible to change fonts of common elements like headings, post title, content etc but for quotes I have not added an option. However you may always change anything using custom CSS. If you want I can give you custom CSS code.

Numbered and bullet lists are not rendering on front page (full post view, not excerpt). On individual page view, they render fine. (See post: http://xlog.shevdog.com/reviews/28712 and http://xlog.shevdog.com). What can be tweaked to fix this?

Yes, you can change the top and bottom padding of the header. There is an option for that.

On localhost permalinks don’t work. It’s not theme’s issue. On live server pernalinks work perfectly.

I have some (small) issues with theme translation. I used Poedit, and globally everything is fine, except for two things :
- It seems that the “related posts” text (at the end of a single post) translation doesn’t work (I translated it into french, but still get “related post” displayed). Example : http://www.lecurionaute.fr/architecture-pont/ (at the bottom of the page).
- In the language file, there are two sentences “Leave a comment”. I translated both of theme, but the translation is only displayed on homepage (http://www.lecurionaute.fr/) and when you click on a post, then it’s replaced with “Leave a Comment” (with a big “C” for comment). For example : http://www.lecurionaute.fr/avons-nouvelle-voisine-cest-etoile-petite-froide/). Would you have any idea on how I can fix this ? I made several tests, translation files upload, reinstallation of Poedit, and I can’t figure out if it’s a problem with the theme, the translation files or Poedit…

The thing is, these strings ARE in the default.po file, but the translation doesn’t work. Well, i’m no expert in theme translation but i’m confident that whatever the problem is, you’ll find a solution.
By the way, I have another question : i don’t want date, avatar, etc beside the title of my posts on homepage, so i removed them (as you offer the choice). But i think that the blank space before the title is too big, and it is even worse for the white space below the title (the blank space almost as big as if there was a full line of white text on a white background). Could it be possible to reduce this blank space in the posts titles ? (just check the homepage www.lecurionaute.fr to see what I mean). Thank you in advance.
I will modify the CSS and there will not be much white space after disabling post meta options.
I have added Related Posts and Comments string to translation PO file. You will have to copy strings from your existing file to new PO file.
