Hello,
How can you change the project attributes on the project page so they will function as anchors.
ex. Project attributes
Branding Pint Film
I would like to set it up so that when someone click one of the attributes it will scroll down the project page to were that attribute of the project starts.

Are you using multiple portfolios on the same page and just need links to lead to each corresponding one? If you can share the URL of your portfolio page I could get a better feel of what you’re trying to achieve

Quick question: I want all of my videos to open in a lightbox. However upon installing various plugins to do this, I cannot use Salient shortcodes with them (like a button for example) as these plugins have their own shortcodes. Any thoughts as to how I can make all videos by default open in a lightbox so that I can use Salient short codes? Thanks!
I’ve already tried adding the class=”pp” on to the shortcode and that did not work. This is a vimeo video I am trying with. Thanks.

Hi, I recently updated to the newest version of Salient and this code is no longer working. The button does not appear now. Any thoughts for correction? I tried adding

This theme is great, but if you’re using the short code buttons to link to any pages within your site, they eventually break in Safari. I’m having to resort to creating CSS Sprites to use instead of the buttons provided.

You can set an auto rotation on each slider, but it can only be a static time currently – making it change after varying length BG’s would require some custom development.

Have you entered the desired time in milliseconds on the Nectar Slider element itself? It’s a field that can be found when editing the element in the visual composer view

Hey Bolos3000, do you mean the custom text you’ve entered in the admin panel for the sort text or the actual filters themselves?

If you’ve entered a custom string for the filter in the theme options, that will need to be added into the .po manually via the theme files (the file is shortcode-porcocessing.php which is located in the nectar/tinymce directory) this is because variables can’t be added into a .po file by default – however if you’re using WPML, they have a feature to allow this without editing the files

I am having issues with this plugin (YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier) and Salient. I did ask the developer of plugin but there was no reply on their support forum. I also noticed someone had this same questions in the comments here and was answered in a private ticket. Basically my featured image takes up the full width and looks like there is a conflict between the Salient WooCommerce column sizes and the plugin. Is there a possibility that you guys could post what you did so I can fix this issue?

I’m having trouble creating a full width and full height slider as you have on this page of the demo site :

I want the top menu system to appear transparent and for the image to fill the entire screen.

The option for fullscreen is selected when placing a Nectar Slider on a page (through the visual composer element or shortcode), it doesn’t matter what type of slides you have in it (image of video)

Hi, What are the steps I should follow to achieve a “nectar style” gallery that will display an image without cropping the sides. I am using images that are 1200×800 but the when I inspect the element the images end up being 1100×802.
When I use the same gallery in a 2/3 column they end up being 724×802
1. Is it possible to have a “nectar style” gallery that displays 100% of the image without cropping?
2. Is the “nectar style” gallery responsive when placed in a multi-column row layout?

You need to use the “flexible height” option in order to have your images hold the same aspect ratio on different screen sizes – and this option should also work in a multi column row

Hey again – it appears that your second use of the Nectar Style gallery is in better proportion than your first since you’ve given it more room for the dimensions supplied. If you’re using it in smaller areas, please set the dimensions in the gallery to the correct width/height that would work for that given section

2. The lightbox gallery does not have the option for image navigation, but has arrows and the current count: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-frostwave/portfolio-fullwidth-style-three/
3. As seen on the link above, there’s also the option for a project style with a zoom effect – but you might be looking for something different.

I’m currently working with your theme for a client who purchased it from you guys, he sent me the full package with demo content etc..
The client is keen to have the homepage layout as your live preview landing page, but the demo content doesn’t look/feel the same, the portfolio section is different, and also there are little parts missing. I have tried to recreate the landing page, but cant figure some things out, is there any way you have the demo content for the live preview, then also the about us extended page is different in the demo content to the live preview.

The main areas are to achieve the layout of the portfolio on the landing page (home) were it shows the picture with a tint over it, and also displays the portfolios name, then when you hover it zooms a little.
The next area would be the portfolio page masonry style four, on your example it has the text move up from the bottom of the picture, rather than appear over the image on hover, with a background colour.

If you hover over the projects here http://www.toadlondon.com/dev/sclelections/. The zoom in effect jumps the image around in the element, it is not a smooth transition like your own demo site produces.
The problem I have is that on mobile devices there is no rollover so I need text to be showing.
I would like to use version here: http://www.toadlondon.com/dev/sclelections/projects/ but need to remove the ‘See larger” CTA and just show the ‘More Details’ CTA.
So basically, how do I remove the ‘See larger” CTA?

1. You need to update to the latest version of the theme to get the fix for that.

Are you sure you imported the dummy data files from your Salient download? Those all sound like images that are not included. If so, please let me know which dummy data file (the modern creative or the clean all purpose)

Hey there, I have been trying to get my video to auto play and loop when the user goes to the page but it seems to have to be clicked on and doesn’t loop and I can’t find any settings. (It’s an MP4).
Do you know the issue with this as I saw on your latest live preview it had that feature :/
Also as a smaller problem I’m having, on the live preview you have pages that have the picture on the actual menu, Iv’e looked over the whole documentation but couldn’t seem to find anywhere how to do this so could you tell me how to do that?

1. Can you please share a URL where this occurs so I can see what the issue is? Also – are you trying to autoplay a video background or just a video player?
2. The transparent header option was added in Salient v4.0 and can be found in the header options tab of the Salient options panel
