2) You can place a text widget into the “Second Top Widget Area” (Appearance -> Widgets )

Hi, Its a great work dear. I want to buy this theme, but i have a question before i purchase. 1. Can you define different colours for each category? Like we have 4-7 types of products. but each type have its own colour. 2. Can i Change the bg colour of nav Bar/menu ?

First of all thank you for the purchase. This can be done with custom coding but you need to know how to code css. For example every single category has a slug name as you know and that slug names are adding to the “body” class list for the category pages. So you can write your css codes by starting ”.category-slug name” as css selectors. I recommend to hire a developer if you have no experiences with css.

Customize the layout of the logo and the widget areas via RT-Theme -> Header Options -> “Logo Section Width” and select “one third of the header” for example. You have “full width..” currently.

I think I dont get the Tempplate Builder right. Or lets say: I hope so. 
Because in my understandig of a Template is a Pattern for different Pages. So I think I should built a Template and then I can built different Pages out of it. But what I see in the Theme right now is: For evey single site I have to create a Template to get the content in it. I think it should work like this: I create a Template, then I create a page and in the Pages-Section I get the specific content in.
But when I create a page and select the formerly created Template I cannot get the Content-Elements to type my content in. Instead I have to do this directly in the Template.
Do I get it right, or do I make a mistake?

You can do both with the template builder Please add “Default Content” module into your template to display the main content of the page/post that assigned with the template. It is coded to work exactly you described.

In your dummy content in RT package I cannot see all the variations which I can see on revolution slider demo page.

1 ) Please change /rttheme18/js/script.js with this one http://pastie.org/9281992 looks like you have a directory access restrictions. Anyway the new file will resolve the issue. Please note: I’ll also include the same file to the next version of the theme.

Hello, I’m trying to set up the Contact Us page. The google map does not display, I get the error:
Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘rt_maps’ from the google code js.
On line 93 I get an error “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘removeAttribute’ of null” on the code : document.getElementById(“rt_loading”).removeAttribute(“class”);
I do see that script.js is loaded on some pages, but not the contact template.

Has anyone else tested this theme with custom post-types? We want to pull custom post-type information, and then display it on the specific pages using the template builder that comes with this theme. But do not see an easy way to-do this… Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found your discussion on importing exact demo site, however to be clear do I 1) import dummy-contents.xml as well as 2) import demo-website-contents.xml (in that order?) or just import demo-website-contents.xml (without importing dummy-contents.xml)?
please advise ASAP as have already made a mistake and had to uninstall Wordpress and start again. your help is appreciated

To a clean start I recommend the XML file that comes with the theme. You can always use the templates that can be downloaded from this page http://support-rt.com/discussion/9114/tutorial-demo-website-templates-sample-contents-updated-31-may-2014-#Item_1 Some of our users wants to same content with the demo website so we provided the import demo-website-contents.xml also. Here are steps I’d follow for a clean and qucik start;
1) Activate the theme first 2) Activate WooCommerce if you’re planning to use 3) import dummy-contents.xml 4) Import demo templates (that you downloaded from the support forum, this could help you to figure out the template builder quickly ) via the RT-Theme 18 -> Template Builder and assign one of them with your home page.

Hi. I am unable to make the revisions on the home pages templates. Which is quite frustrating as its one of the best things about wordpress that in case you click update you can always go back and change it again.

Hi! I want to buy this template for a client.
However, if I open the template demo, in some pages, I get blank content.
I activated firebug and in console log I see a javascript exception in Flex Slider. So, I suppose, I’m having problems on the pages using Flex Slider because of this javascript exception.
I’m using Latest stable version of Firefox in Mac Mavericks.
This problem is not happening in Chrome neither Safari. Just in Firefox (Mac).

I’m also using the same FF version in OSX Mavericks yet i don’t see any issue with the pages that has flex slider. I am using a cdn and a cache plugin for the demo website, it might be a temporary cache issue. Please try to press and hold Shift and click the Reload button to clear the caches for a page.

I’m afraid I’m still facing this problem after cleaning the cache. I see your theme is running Flex Slider 2.2.0. There is a new version that fixes some conflict issues. From the author’s page:
- Version 2.2.2 *
- Fixes minified JavaScript file to remove merge conflicts. *
Can this be the reason for having this issue? Is it possible to update the Flex Slider to this new version?

I ensure you that there is no issue with the flex slider pages, i might be a problem on your installation. Also, there is no issue reported by any our clients so far. I have also checked with http://www.browserstack.com and it works fine as well. You can check again by using the browserstack as well
Thanks for answering. I was able to find out what’s happening. Something was not function properly. I had to completely remove Firefox and reinstall it. Now it seems to be working just fine.
