Shortcodes not working in the properties pages. I have added the sample shordcode below in a property page and it only loads half of the page. I think there is something broken here. I have not installed any plugins yet, FYI. Please help. Thanks

we don’t have price filtering on javo ajax map yet. the price filtering is only for horizon searching. we were consider to add it but it’s little complicated. because of “rent” and “sales” prices are big different price gap. it is like a live filtering. so we are sure how we can make it work. that’s why we didn’t add them. we will see what we can do.

Hello, I have been contracted to work with this theme and am having some problems.
1. The search box at the top header doesn’t work. It just redirects to the home page. Even on your demo page.
2. How do I get the floating search filter to show on the map using the Property List or Property-Results template? I can only get it to show on the home page using the Home-Map template.
I also can’t seem to get the Advanced Search to work either. I created a page and set the template to Property-results and chose that page in the Theme settings, but it still won’t work. It just keeps displaying all properties regardless of the filter settings.

Can you tell me what the “permalink” should be, because I have it currently set as ”/ category / postname /” (without the quotes)?
Ok, I figured out that the iThemes plugin was blocking the URL pattern, so I turned that off and was able to get the advanced search to mostly work. The top search still doesn’t work. The horizontal advanced search is working. The sidebar search works except for the keyword when using the quick results. The keyword works when redirecting to the search results page.

1. permalink : it should be “postname” this is going to be good for google SEO as well.
2. top search is for javo ajax map. do you have the page? then you can setup it up and it goes to the ajax map page Please try this page.(http://javothemes.com/house/map/). if you can’t set it up, just let our support team know, they will help you out.
3. the keyword on quick panel. I will pass it to our developers.

I am close to buying this theme but have a couple of questions.
1. can drop downs be used instead of buttons. eg. city > drop down > names of cities?
2. Can suburb view be implemented? eg. Filtering by city and suburbs in that city are listed on a different dropdown? eg. city> sydney > suburb > a city in sydney?
3.Can the search form be separated from the list view on the panel?
4. Is there an option to filter by price?
5. does the theme support geo location?
6. can users subscribe to email notifications alerting them to new properties matching their criteria?

2. We have a plan for it. but not yet
3. I am not sure which panel you are talking. the map panel can be hide/show. the main search form is just one.
4. Yes we have searching by price.
5. Not yet, but it should be added in future. I heard geo location is not working properly. it finds location where the Internet provide company locations. I will talk to our developers about it.
6. We don’t have this subscribe. but it sounds good to have in the future.

Hi! We have two presale questions!
1) Is it the bug with filter near map in “Map style Real estate” and “Classic + Map” types? When we choose any city (e.g. Manhattan), then we can not choose “All” button again. So the filter doesn’t work. The same problem with the “Status” category!
2) Have you got a compare option in your theme? In preview I haven’t seen it. I think, it could be very useful. And it would be better to have a possibility to compare more than two items.

Is there a way to add an availability calendar to the individual property listings and then add a ‘check in’ and ‘check out’ search fields on the home page to use this theme for vacation rentals?
I am yet to find a theme which has this functionality built in, as opposed to checking each and every listing for available and blocked out dates.

Hello, I bought the theme today and applied every step to get the same demo functions on my site. my only issue right now before looking at the other fuctions is the map is not showing in the homepage somehow.

I created a child theme because I didn’t find one included with this theme, but many of the features and styling were broken. Switching to the parent theme “Javo House” fixed the problems. However, we plan to make a lot of customizations and without Child Theme support, we won’t be able to update the theme without loosing our changes. Can you provide us with a Child Theme that works with the “Javo House” theme and doesn’t break functionality/styling?
