Two questions:
1. Small logo that scrolls when you scroll down is super pixelated. How do I add a smaller logo to it or remove it altogether.
2. Contact form isn’t working. Any suggestions?

1 ) You can close it via Header Options -> “Show Logo in Sticky Menubar”
2) I’m not sure what’s wrong, the default contact form uses the core WP functions. You can try to use Contact Form 7 plugin which is also supported by the theme.

You can’t do it by using the Template Builder but it is possible with a little css tweak. If you’d like to hide the main menu, top bar or some other main parts of the website just for a specific page, you can write a little custom css code for it. I’m trying to include a Google Map inside a “Tabular Content Module” but it automatically creates a bunch of “br” tags before it. I can see this using Firebug but I can’t remove them using the regular editor, even on html mode. Any solution to this?

Could you please export the template and submit us by opening a new thread on our support forum at http://support-rt.com so we can test it. Most probably you’ll need to make the map locations in one line like the sample below. Make sure there is no enter character within the shortcode brackets.

Oh, you are right. I had to write the “location” tags inline with each other and remove all the “enter” charaters I had entered to separate each tag. That solved my problem. Thanks a lot!
Hi! 1. Is it planned to update the Revolution Slider to the new major upgrade? =)
2. I have some problems with mobile navigation… I compare your demosite with mine and on iPad my mainnavigation don’t work perfect. For example: mainmenu->submenu (megamenustyle) use: one touch on mainmenu -> mainmenusitecontent loads (on your demosite I need two touchs and that is what I want); touch on submenu in best case it works in worst the site don’t load till siterefresh. Do you have any ideas?

- I need to use both menus – horizontal and vertical. Is it possible to make vertical menu like in your rttheme15 (not Tabs)?
- if yes can it be pre-opened on item page to show sub-items?
- can accordions be pre-opened?
- I have some main menu items but a lot of sub-items. is it possible to group them for mobile view (small screen resolution)? now in theme preview sub-items are shown but I need it to be hidden under main items

1-2 ) No it is no possible with the current theme features. 3) Yes, the first item of the accordion content can be pre-opened 4) Mobile menu is just a mobile optimized version of the main menu. So, you can’t do it as default but if you know css it is possible to code by using media queries. 5) Actually it is not a bug. You resized your browser window to test it but you need to check with a mobile device to test all features. We have tested almost all popular devices.

You can have the main menu and and sub menu like the one on this page http://rttheme18.demo-rt.com/left-sidebar/ but a sub menu like RT-Theme 15 is only possible with custom coding, requires php, css and javascript knowledge.
Another question is, how do you set the design layout to half boxed?

You can select the layout mode by using the “Theme Layout Style” option from RT-Theme 18 > Styling Options > Global Style

When I activated the theme, there is a header already sent/session start error message that pointing to functions.php file on line 9
I removed that session_start section and the error message is gone.
Is it ok if I removed that line? Will it mess up the theme? Please advice.

Most probably there is a plugin throws an error/warning before the theme loads its core functions and breaks sessions. If you remove the code it will only break the default contact form’s security question. However I’d search the reason behind it first. Hello Daniel,
First of all, it seems you have no enough space left for the search field but don’t worry you can have some more space by reducing the top menu item’s paddings. Put the following css code into the box inside Styling Options / Custom CSS
#navigation_bar > ul > li > a {
padding: 15px 25px;
}
We always encourage our clients to use a child theme when you need to customize the core files http://support-rt.com/discussion/9110/tutorial-how-to-create-a-child-theme
Also if you just need to change a css code, you can use the custom css box under the styling options. It won’t affect any future theme updates. Just copy the part of the css code that needed to be edited into the box.

Additional question, I’m having a hard time arranging the categories in the portfolio carousel. I want it be arranged in a particular order and not just alphabetical or chronological. Last week, I tried changing the slugs beginning with numbers to arrange them and it was successful. But as I check it again today it went back to the alphabetical order (accdg to the Name of the category). Can you help me with this?

I think this is for posts. But from this I found this plugin for categories http://wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-terms-order/. I reordered the categories already but it’s still not reflecting in the carousel. Do you think this is already under the Portfolio Carousel itself?

Unfortunately, there is no option for ordering by categories. You can order by name, date, id, randomized etc.
May I know why? Because It actually worked last last week when I changed the slug with numbers. But when I checked it out again this week, it went back to the first order.
I am not sure how it was working because there is no option provided by WordPress API for ordering posts by category names or slugs. You can use only provided ordering methods.

1. I am trying to add a tool tip into the footer of my website. For some reason nothing appears when I try to add the shortcode. I am trying to add it inside of a vertical chained icon box.
Do you know how I can get the tooltip to show up?
2. I have noticed that the RT THEME is very slow to load. I also felt that the demo site and your support site was slow as well. Are there any current issues going on?

1) Please check your shortcode it must be looking like this

I’ve just tested with my install, it works fine.
2) The theme builds the pages by using the shortcodes like many other WordPress theme. So, It should fast as much as the others as well. But you can always use a cache plugin to speed up your website such as http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-fastest-cache/
I am aware my support forum and demos are slow a bit but it is because my hosting service and i am going to move to a better one very soon.

Anyway, I need to see your website to check what is wrong with the tooltip shortcode so please send us your website link and the shortcode that is not working.
I’m not sure which hosting company you are using but the slowness could be related with many things including images, plugins, hosting speed etc. I can guarantee that it is not 100% related with the theme and I don’t think the theme is slow, actually it coded very carefully and I followed the standards and core WordPress’s API, functions.
Please update your ticket on the support forum and include your website url so we can check it for you. By the way, if you experiencing any slowness in the WordPress back-end you can try to close Update Notifications via General Options as it communicates with my server to pull out the latest version data which may causing a slowness in some cases.
