The “white space” is a border. So you need to find and edit its css-rule.
Okay, question. How do I make it so the forum expands to fit any size of screen without breaking the responsive part of it. Right now on a 1080 screen the forum only takes up a part of the screen, width wise. I would like that to be full, but when on a smaller resolution it would scale down to fit that one and on a larger resolution scale up to fit that. All without breaking the sidebar.
Also, is there anyway to have a nav bar appear after you scroll past a certain point. That way once a person gets lower down in the forum, there is a nav bar with some links for them to use.

Briefly, you have to move the sidebar html-code in front of the main content code, set sidebar float to right, delete the content block float and finally both set the width of the content block and the wrap-block width to those you consider to be appropriate.

I think you need to check the ‘viewtopic_body.html’ template. It looks corrupted. Try to replace it with the default one from the theme pack and refresh the template files after that via ACP — Styles Tab — Themes — YOUR_THEME — Refresh

It seems you pasted the code in a wrong part of the template or corrupted the template in some way. I would suggest you to repeat the steps from the documentation from scratch. But before don’t forget to replace the index_body.html template with the clear one – from the theme pack.
