The sidebars can be enabled on any page, each of the pages can have a right or left vertical sidebar, and also any amount of horizontal sidebars. Also, the theme allows adding custom sidebars with different widgets, so you can actually have different sidebar content for each of the pages if you need to.

As to adding icon shortcode to the custom html block – as we have mentioned earlier, you should not use a shortcode as it is in the squared brackets. You should inspect a ready shortcode form front end with a Firebug, copy the code and insert it. The code will look somewhat like this.

Also, for icons, you should copy the styles too in firebug. See the screenshot.
Add the styles you have copied to the custom css shortcode. See what it will look like in content composer: open image.
Yet, we would really recommend that you try using more shortcodes in content composer as thy are, rather than in a custom html shortcode. You can as well use many shortcodes inside each other, if there is a need to, like in a text block, for instance, as it does accept shortcodes being placed in squared brackets.

Hi team,
I am trying to access a version of my site using the theme on my work network (using IE9) and for some reason the site does not display correctly and the style is broken in a number of ways. Please find below screenshots as an example. Could this be an issue with ie9? I will check when I get home using another version of ie9 on my home computer just in case it is an issue with the work network but wanted to check just in case in the interim period if anyone else had the same issues.

As to adding chat to GoodDay theme – perhaps you can use a http://wordpress.org/plugins/chat/ plugin for this. We have tested the theme with a free version of this plugin, seems to work just fine, yet we can’t say anything about the premium version.

Sure, sliders demo content can be found together with all the other dummy data files. Please see the Demo Content folder in the archive you have downloaded from Themeforest, you will find sample content for each of the demo sites there, theme settings and sliders too. Please see the theme documentation for help with installing demo content. Theme documentation is in the Docs folder, just open index.html file in your browser.
We just recommend that you download a new archive from Themeforst now, as we applied some changes to theme docs and to demo content recently. If you have purchased the theme over than a week ago, please re-download the archive, the theme itself was not changed, but other archive files were.

I used the CUSTOM 1, which I changed the colors already, but how can I adjust the size of the title, and the size of the icon, plus where to change in CUSTOM 1 for the color of the icon? Where do I go to adjust the icon’s size for the ICON LIST shortcode. Can’t find it on your documentation as well. That should be easy, but there’s no option… I’ve been looking for it everywhere. Never mind I figured the last question… it’s supposed to be an ICON BOX, floated icon. These should be explained in the documentation. It’s hard guessing and doing trial and error. I still don’t know how to resize the icon on the header though
Hi! I am having a hard time looking for changing the color for the bottom sidebar. How come on your demo it’s dark gray, and the default on mine is white? Where can I find in changing the color for the bottom sidebar. I feel like the FOOTER is lacking flexibility, I can not even make widgets for it. It’s just weird, that I have to do the bottom sidebar to serve as the footer. Coz the footer settings is so limited, that I have to insert an html and I can not just specify what I want to show on widgets? There’s no documentation about it. Please help. Thank you.

It would be great to have an easy footer setup using the widgets. Coz right now it doesn’t have that..I have to use the bottom sidebar, and i can’t specify what i want for 1st column, 2nd column, etc. It automatically assumes 1st widget is the 1st column, and so fort…Please do a footer sidebar that has 4 columns and users can easily put things under each column easily.

Hi again. Widget functionality works this way (in bottom sidebar instead of the footer) to make footer settings be more flexible and provide you with an ability to have a fixed footer. On the other hand, there is a possibility to set bottom sidebar visible sitewide by default and assign the needed color scheme (please submit us a ticket about this so that you do not have to wait for the theme update). Basically, it will be the same for you as have the widgets inside the footer, but with more options still.

As to event management – GooddDay theme supports Events Calendar plugin, you can use it. Right now we are working on WooCommerce integration, it should be available as a theme update within couple of weeks. You will just need to update your theme for this. As to donations – perhaps you can use one of the plugins, like https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-donations/ or other, you will need to choose one that fits the best.

These blocks on a landing page are made with Custom HTML shortcodes that are added via a Visual Composer. If you wish, we will be able to provide you with an import file that you will upload to your website and have the whole page as it is on our demo, and you will only need to substitute the images with your and delete unnecessary content. You will be also able to use these shortcodes on other website pages. We will guide you through that.
