I have some pre-purchase questions about the HomePage: 1. What is the ideal dimension of photos in the slider? 2. Can the couple widget “Alicia + Jason” be removed? 3. Can I create links in the “Static Content Section Widget”? I need a Call To Action area. 4. Is the date “Wednesday 31 December 2014” above the counter entered manually or through a calendar? I ask because my event is a date range. 5. Can the CTA button in the Featured photos area, “GO TO GALLERIES”, be linked to an external site (or removed)?

Hi there! To answer your questions:
1.No standard dimensions since these photos adapt to the browser window, for the demo we use photos of 590×1265 pixels.
2. You can hide it with some simple custom css. We can help with that.
3. Sure, you can put whatever content you want, as you would do in a static page.
4. This is added automatically by the settings you enter at the theme option. You may need some customization here, since it does not take a date range.
5. It can be removed, it cannot link to an external page.

Question: When going to the photo album page it loads by default ALL my photos. Since I have lots of photos the page is loading for a long time a very heavy. Can we make a fix that will display only the first 8 photos, or only one of the albums?

I have a quick question regarding the RSVP module. Is there any way you can add a CAPTCHA? I have to wade through the RSVP through countless spam accounts and makes it difficult for it to be of any use, but I cant find the settings anywhere.

Nope, I’m afraid not. You should use a spam filter like Akismet to minimize spam. Otherwise you will need to heavily customize the theme files, probably a job for a web developer.

That is really poor design IMHO, and made the whole theme pretty useless. It doesn’t seem you know how Akismet works. I have over 2000 RSVP entries because Akismet doesn’t control name / last name entries, Akismet controls by emails and by the user posting on comments. Your RSVP is not asking people to register on the site, it just passes to a list a bunch of name, last name entries without any control, your RSVP doesn’t send Akismet the entries either and you are expecting Akismet to do this by magic? You should integrate some sort of captcha system on the RSVP module, you don’t even have to code it, just add the field to put the captcha key from google or integrate with captcha for Wordpress. So like I said the main purpose for using your theme just went down the drain… It’s my fault for not checking first, I suppose…
Sorry you feel this way, we might considering adding such a feature in one of the future updates, however out of 1338 sales so far, we have not had any other reports for RSVP spam.

If you think I am making this up, I can set you up an admin account so you can take a look at my site and tell me how is it happening. Or you could tell me how ASKISMET and your RSVP Module talk to each other, because who knows, maybe AKISMET is not working on your module… What I don know is that I run AKISMET site wide, and I don’t have unidentifiable spam on my comments, or any other areas. The only area that is full of hundreds of names is the RSVP form. I am pretty sure that adding reCaptcha to your form is really not that complicated (https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/intro) all you need to add to the RSVP Module on the front end (WP Backend) are Public Key and Private Key fields. On the back end you, you would need to verify the answer written on the Captcha, and maybe add some customization and you would be set.

We not imply that you made it up, just that we cannot change the theme based on an individual issue out of the 1000+ customers.
As I said we might consider adding it in one of the next updates, but we cannot guarantee it. If you need this feature now, you may hire a freelancer to do this customization for you.
Themes are provided as is, and customer service does not mean that we are obliged to implement any customization requests that may arise. I can assure you that we value our customer service.
And thanks for doing the math on our earnings, but if you include the daily hours that we put into support, you will see that it is reasonable.

Right, with your support being this stellar, you are making a killing. If I’m going to go through the effort and investment (of something you should have added by design) of making the tool work alongside the spam blocker and using recaptcha, it’s not going to be for the betterment of your stupid theme. I will just rip that piece out and repackage it to sell it.
Really regret making this purchase, but I know of better ways to recover my investment. Specially if I can make the next 1338 sales invisible.

Before Akismet can talk to any contact form it needs some features integrated, it’s not like if you install Akismet, it will save from any contact form, but with only ones which has the integration. For example: WordPress comments, Contact Forms 7, Gravity Forms.
RSVP form is simple form submission without any integration for any third-party plugin (Akismet, for instance). However, I do understand that you’re receiving loads of spam and how it can be a trouble, but the same case doesn’t apply for everybody. As we said, we can implement in one of the updates, but not immediately.
If you need better control over form, GeekLove provides compatibility with Gravity Forms which would prevent you the spams, if that’s your concern.

Hi! This theme seems perfect for my needs, but I have a few pre-sale questions first.
1) The two bio boxes for bride & groom on top of the slider, can those be removed? 2) Can the “Are Getting Married” text be replaced with different words? 3) Can the heart icon in the divider be replaced with a different icon? 4) If there’s just one event we want to show, will the Event Section on the homepage still show as two columns or one? 5) Since the homepage is widgetized, is it possible to add videos and/or a “testimonial” slider? 6) I see the static section has been removed from the homepage demo. Is that still available, though?

Hi there
1) This whole section is a widget. You can choose to use or not to use it. Otherwise, you can hide them with some simple css, and keep the slider.
2) This text is part of the widget above. But yes, you can easily change the text to whatever you want.
3) Not out of the box. You will need to manually edit the theme files, or hire someone to do it for you.
4) 1 column. The event will be centered, but the box will not be resized.
5) You can do these for sure, but a testimonial slider is not included in the theme.
6). Yes it is. We were making some changes at the demo. It is back there now.

How can you create an RSVP separate page, its own very page? The one with the http://yoursite.com/#rsvp will only work on the home page; for every other pages, you will only be returned to the home page without being taken to the RSVP section. How can you create an RSVP page ? Thank you!

It can be done through the widgetized page template by simply creating a new page and putting the widget into it. Also, the homepage images are slideshows, you can customize the images, timeout and speed. Thanks.

You can easily create multiple homepage layout with ‘Widgetized’ page template. And for the galleries, you can assign the photos inside a category and show them accordingly. However, the Events wouldn’t be possible to be separated!

Hey guys, wondering if it’s possible to create unique links. For example website.com is where it’s installed at. Then we want .com/registry or .com/pictures or whatever else, for instance.
