Is the Page Builder part of the download or just show-concept here?

Add a global Navigation-System to it and a image and data file manager and you are close to a complete CMS solution. Still very impressing which ways you are going! You are a little new star on the horizon! Keep up the good work!

Hello, Variant includes all these things you mentioned :) you can edit images, links, text, icons by right clicking on them. You can manage slides by cloning and removing them. You can also save custom nav’s, footers and pages! You can even make a one page navigation by renaming the sections, it’s all in the docs ;)

Forgot to mention, you can also clone and remove items and edit column widths :)

Its a very good Page Builder…Can we have bootstrap features embedded in this Page Builder?

The Pangaea template has been built on Foundation 5. The builder included with this purchase is only equipped to generate pages using elements from this template.

That’s so crazy, awesome. GLWS :)

Thanks very much!

great work, gud luck :)

Great work ! GLWS

Cheers, thanks! :)

Love this theme. Good work mate :)

Thanks for the kind words :)

Innovative stuff, good work!

Great theme ! GLWS :)

Insanely cool. Now if you could add new blocks and convert existing to a working php file structure that would be even sicker.

Yes that would be great. After playing with it more, i have concluded that it would be sick if you could configure how you want to export the finished product. And also if you could export a home page layout with snippets to suit wordpress or joomla and also category layouts and single article layouts. So for example:

Home page: One file with several snippets ready for insertion into theme / template for wordpress or joomla.

Category page: Same thing

Article page: Same thing

As you can see i am speaking from a joomla approach but im sure the same could be done for WP from memory.

At the moment i have added my jdoc include snippets and commented them out within each html block. Then all i have to do is copy the snippet and remove the raw html and uncomment the jdoc include.

Obviously i had to make a module file from the html block but it really helps speed things up in regards to visually creating a new layout for my joomla theme.

It works really well.

I think what i am saying is that apart from the fact that you can generate html layouts, it would be great to be able to generate snippets to use for wp or joomla and also to be able to add new snippets within the menu system so you can build a library of snippets.

Also being able to then choose your master stylesheet to top it off and bam! You have a system that lets you visually create without bloated drag and drop code, and is also cms cross platform friendly. Would be awesome if those includes or snippets specific to the cms could be configured within the web app.

Sorry for the novel, maybe my feedback is going in the wrong direction. I am basically using it for prototyping but at the same time building some snippets for use with theme building. Is it ok to do that with it?

Thanks for taking the time to detail your thoughts and ideas. We hadn’t considered using Variant as a prototyping tool for a CMS, rather a builder for production-ready HTML pages. It is great to hear that you’re finding it useful, and you are free to use it as you wish.

html and page builder ? you are awesome :)
