I attempted to update my theme and all my events disappeared. Please advise.
Please go to Events > Select all Events > Click on Action > Edit it > Apply > Update All. All Done!!

I like the home page very much and only want to swap out the posts in the middle for some static text. Is there a way I can I do that without changing the code?
ok, I see my problem but it creates another one. When I switched to static page, the page I selected shows up when I add the index.php to the URL. So, when I go to kcmo.gov/kansascitymuseum, it shows nothing when I select static page (it shows everything when I have posts selected). When I go to kcmo.gov/kansascitymuseum/index.php, I see the static page. How can I make this work without adding index.php ?

It was conceived as it should be, thank you for correcting it though.
When you change the size of the window from full width to iPad view, there’s a large white space under the navigation above the header/slider. It shows up on every page we created and also on your demo. This is a problem depending on the browser/window size of the end user. Is there a fix to this?

Is there a way to let it work with qtranslate? Page Builder Headings are not translated.

Is there anyway to disable comments on “pages”. I fail to find the default disable comments, pingbacks etc. tick boxes.
You can disable comment on page by using wordpress back end option. When you create a page, you see an option on top of each page to disable/enable comment.

Where is the “events” permalink defined?
My issue is that when opening an event, the breadcrumb is showing the parent item ‘Events’ but the link on it does not open the site with all events but only a general archive of all posts on the site. This does work with Teams however.
There is slug issue, you might be using same slug for page and archive. Try by changing your slug. If it does not work, please create ticket at http://www.chimpgroup.com/support and provide your login details and url. Issue will be resolved there.
