Hi there,
Happy to leave this question for you. ..
The mobile menu does not come up /show up on my phone. Do we need to set something up or?
Please advise as well, where you are located.
Thank you so much. Love this theme.
Best regards from Canada
Hey again
Did you setup the mobile menu? Valenti has an option to set a main navigation menu and a separate mobile menu, you can set the same menu to the Mobile menu, but the option is there in case you want mobile users to see specific menu items. Check the documentation, there’s a section about this there.
Hope this helps

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to set some settings in the Valenti Review System as default?
We are publishing many reviews (3-10 a day) and it would be nice if we didn’t need to set the settings everytime manually.
(Out standard is – Points, Bottom and Off)
Thanks
Hey CyR4s,
Thank you very much for your purchase, I hope you enjoy using the theme.
Wow, that is a lot of new content a day, good job
Unfortunately there isn’t a way to do that, but I may look into it and see if there is a good way to add an option for that.
Cubell
Hey Cubell,
that would be fine!
I can’t promise it’ll be done, but I will look into it in the future and see if it is realistic/possible
There are also a few more wishes I have – for which i would pay
If you are willing to pay, I’d recommend going on http://studio.envato.com to find someone to help you out, as that site is run by the same people who run Themeforest. Valenti is cleanly written so any decent WordPress developer should be able to customize it to your wishes (using the child-theme)
Cubell
That would be fine! Thanks
Good luck with it
Hey Master Cubell,
it there something new for this feature? If its needed I would pay for it!
Hey again!
I am afraid that it proved to be a more complicated than I though, but I did realise a way this can be done. If you open a ticket at http://support.cubellthemes.com I can explain where you can change code to change the defaults (hard-editing a theme isn’t great, because you lose those customizations in a theme update, but it’s quick, so you could do after each update)! And of course no payment is required for this, just drop me a line in there and i’ll try to help out

Hi there
Is there any setting for search result page and how that is presented?
Many thanks P
Hey P,
In the next update there will be a new setting to pick a specific blog style for the search results page, is that what you are after?
Cubell
Hi Well, the problem now is that when you search on a category there can be about 100 posts showing up including images and text. That means an extremely long list to scroll, which means a nor very userfriendly overview. Isnt it possible to get a short summary of the search results instead, which is more or less standard on most search result pages? My best P
Hey again,
I explained a bit how WordPress controls the results in your ticket, check it out
Cubell
Great! Thanks! Any idea when the new update will be available?
No problem, version 3.1 is nearly finished. I want to submit it at the end of next week or very early the week after
Cubell
Hi guys Any news regarding the update? Thanks P
Hey Panasan,
The update will be submitted within 24 hours. I am working on a pesky bug when using the “by posts” filter in the pagebuilder, and as soon as it’s sorted, it will be packaged and submitted.

Hey there. Pre-purchase question.
Is it possible to have the grid on the homepage not be posts but be links to category pages? How would this work?
Hey Bongobong,
Thanks very much for the interest in Valenti. That isn’t an option, but you may be able to achieve it with a 301 workaround. You could publish some “dummy” posts with image/title and give them all a unique tag (for example “special”) then using https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-301-redirects/ setup a 301 to redirect those post urls to the respective category links you want. Then in the pagebuilder you add a grid module and set it to only show posts with the “special” tag, so those posts are shown, and then if anyone clicks on one, it redirects to the category. It may not be ideal, but it would work
Cubell
Hi, Great theme thanks. Just wondering if it is possible to have this page layout http://cubellthemes.com/demos/?product=valenti but use it for category pages? Thanks
Hey Sparrry,
Thank you very much for your purchase, I hope you enjoy using the theme.
The link you pasted goes to the homepage, do you mean you want to use the pagebuilder on a category page? This is possible but it requires a small workaround which you may like/not like. Create a new page and set it up as you would want for that category, and then install https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-301-redirects/ and setup a 301 from the normal category URL to your new page, this way, whenever anyone goes on the category url (or clicks on the menu for example), they will automatically be redirected to the page.
I hope this helps

Hey mate
Thanks for the theme very happy using it! I can’t really remember where I read it, but is there an option to have the whole site fixed at a narrower width? Like I have it set in the “boxed” style, but is it possibly to shrink the site a bit? I was thinking of using the great advertising feature where I can add a background image that is clickable using the template you provided, but the website itself takes up a lot of the screen realestate and I dont get to see much of the background image/ad.
Thank you for your help
L
Hi I found the answer to this in the theme options! I knew I saw it somewhere, thank you.
Hey L,
It’s great to hear you’re happy using the theme
And I’m glad you found the answer
Cubell
Per your advice I used your support system.
Its been 6 days since I submitted my support ticket. Is this normal?
Hey Bcrider,
No that is not normal, the ticket system was unusually busy during the past week and I had some issues responding to tickets so there have been some delays, but it’s all back to normal and all tickets older than from 6 hours ago have been answered already. Average response time is normally under 24 hours.

Hi Cubell..
I’m so interest with this theme but I wanna ask some questions:
1. Is Valenti has Google Analytics feature? Because I kinda lazy to find other plugin..
2. Can I write my own ‘award’ words instead of ‘overall score’ from the review page? http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/lifestyle/food/morbi-elementum-justo-id-lectus-porta-dictum/
3. Is Valenti has many design share feature like this website? http://wanderlusters.com/4-wheeled-adventure-across-nepal/ http://www.soundsbetterwithreverb.com/dreampop/ashrae-fax-chkn/That’s all I wanna ask.. Thanks
Hey Chokcoy,
Thanks very much for your interest in Valenti
1- In the theme options there is a tab called “custom code”, in it there is a option input box called “Custom Head Code”, where you insert the Analytics code that Google gives you, and it will work.
2- Yes you can, there is an option inside the review system in each post where you can enter any text you want to appear under the score.
3- Valenti comes with the Valenti Sharing Block, which only has two design options, one is the one you see in the Valenti demo site (standard) and the other is the one on the Sounds Better With Reverb website, which uses the big bubble above the logos style. The theme also allows you to easily turn this off in the theme options, and that is what Wanderlusters did, and they then used this plugin: http://codecanyon.net/item/easy-social-share-buttons-for-wordpress/6394476 for their sharing block.
I hope this information is helpful

Hi Cubell,
I just purchased your theme and I want ask you a few questions again:
1. At review box, can I add more positive or negative points? because I think it will be not enough for me..
2. Can I change the “Summary” title with my own word? Because it feels weird if the summary has the same title with post title..
Thanks
Hey again,
Thanks very much for choosing Valenti, hope you enjoy using it!
1- That is not possible I’m afraid, it has a maximum of 3 each to keep the design clean.
2- Where do you see that word? If you mean inside the score box, you can set anything you want (there is an option in the review options of the post).
Cubell
Thanks for the answers. Oh, and one more.. Can you add review score location to “bottom half-width with centered align” because the “bottom” option score will look so weird if author don’t write summary, positive, or negative sentences.
But if you can add “bottom half-width with centered align” It will give user much clean review article.
No problem
And thanks for the suggestion, I will consider it!
Hi Cubell,
I have some problem with this theme:
1. While using Valenti Drag & Drop Builder, why my Section B + Section B sidebar has different padding?
For example this is my home page > http://www.lattenight.com/home-page/
You can see the “Blog” and “Popular Posts” section has different padding. What should I do to solve this problem?
I’m using Wordpress 4.0.
2. The Valenti Top Reviews widget didn’t show up on my website, is there any minimum article that I should provide? So far, I only have 1 review article on my website.
Thanks
Hi again,
1- Ah I see, that is a CSS bug, you can easily fix it by copy/paste the following code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:
.page-template-page-valenti-builder-php #cb-content .cb-sidebar { padding:0 ; }
2- No, there is no minimum, but did you set any criteria scores or did you only use the override score? If you don’t want to show criterias, you should still set 1 criteria score (with no title), and it should all work as expected.
I hope this helps
Cubell
OK problems solved, thanks for the answers
You’re welcome, happy to help
Hi Cubell, quick question:) Is there a way to have the infinite scroll/Load More show when using the page builder??
Thanks:)
Hey Pinkjunky,
No that isn’t possible, as WordPress only allows a single pagination per page i’m afraid, you will need to use the “Latest posts” style homepage (Settings -> Reading) for those options.
Cubell
No worries, thanks for the fast reply:)
You’re welcome
Hey everyone, Not sure what the problem is but we uploaded some new photos to our gallery, which we do on a consistent basis anyways, and now certain things don’t work. The drop down navigation, footer doesn’t appear, and mainly the gallery doesn’t work. On some pages even the rest of the Facebook sidebar plugin cuts off. I’m going to try and isolate the plugins but does anyone have advice? Thanks!
Hey Chrisjenglish,
I answered to two tickets about this on the ticket system earlier, check them out, but for anyone wondering, it seems to be a permissions issue with the way they are hosting their plugins (through Amazon S3 servers) that is causing a 403 HTTP permissions problem.
Cubell
Hello,
I cannot get my pictures to upload. Every time i upload my pictures it keeps saying HTTP error, but the pictures appear in my uploaded box. So once i see that, I try to select the picture, it then tells me that I have to re-upload picture. Please help. Secondly, Every time I only select specific post to go under specified categories, the post appears in every category. My website name is juicyhighlights.com Lastly, I notice that it doesn’t give you an option for Instagram logo. How can I get the instagram logo to appear.
Hi Stephanie_1882,
Thank you very much for your purchase, I hope you enjoy using the theme.
Unfortunately, HTTP errors uploading pictures is 99% not a theme issue and probably a hosting issue, so you’ll need to contact them to help you, as it sounds like your folder permissions are setup incorrectly (theme can’t change/do anything to your folder permissions).
And for other social network icons, I’d recommend using a plugin that already has the ones you are after, here is one that might help: https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-media-widget/
Hope this helps

Hi Cubell, When I try to publish my post and select certain categories for them to be in i notice that all my post end up in all the categories. How can i make each post stay in their specific category.
Hey Stephanie,
I’m not 100% what you mean, can you change to the default theme (Twentyfourteen) and see if the issue persists? If it does, it may be the way you’re setting up that is the problem, if not, can you sure your URL To take a look? You can share the url privately on the support system if you prefer: http://cubell.ticksy.com
Cubell
Hi Cubell, No problem. If you look every category. Each post is in every category instead of each category being different. www.juicyhighlights.com
I had a look but the categories all have their own posts, are you saying when you click on the “Lifestyle” category menu item for example, you see the same posts you see when you click on the “Exclusives” category menu item?
No for example. I just posted this new article on “do the right thing” I only want the article to show up in Arts and culture , but it appeared under exclusive, and believe and inspire category on the homepage when i only want it to be under arts and culture
Ah I understand now, but it is almost 99% because of the setup of your “Exclusive Interviews” module. Edit the homepage and go to that module, edit the settings and make sure only the correct category is ticked.

Hi Cubell,
It’s me again.Long time… I have questions that I could not find a way to solve them.
- I am using normal mainpage option ( not drag and drop. ) How can I add pagination to my main page? I want to have like 1, 2, 3 in my main page.
- My navigation does not appear in my tablet and mobile devices. What is the way of it?
- At last I could not change the font color of breaking news, as I change it from theme options. What can it be the reason?
Thanks a lot buddy, Best, Levent
my website name is teknolo.com
Hey Levent,
Long time no see
Hope you are well!
1- The only way to have pagination on the main page is to use the “Latest style” homepage from Settings -> Reading
2- Did you setup the mobile menu? Check the documentation, there’s a section about it
3- You can change the posts color in the theme options, but if you want to change the color of the actual word “Breaking”, you need to copy/paste the following code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:
#cb-top-menu .cb-breaking-news span { color: #000; }
and change the #000 to your desired color.
Hope this helps
Cubell
3- As ? change the posts color in theme options and try out your code nothing had changed. What can it be the reason?
You can get hexadecimal code for any color using a colorpicker such as this one: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp
And if you go to “Theme Options -> Navigation Menus” and set a color using the colorpicker for the “Breaking News Post Font Color” option, the posts will change to that color.
If you did all that and it doesn’t change, check if you have a cache plugin and try refreshing/deleting the cache.

Hi how exactly do you embed a Youtube video in a post?
Thanks
Hey Cars111,
Thank you very much for your purchase, I hope you enjoy using the theme.
To embed a YouTube video to the content area of a post is very easy, just copy/paste the video url (http://www.youtube....) and the theme will automatically embed it and make it responsive. the theme was written to work this way to avoid having to use ugly/complicated shortcodes for something as basic as a video embed

Hi there – I get a weird double image when I upload a single pic into a gallery (example: http://www.jbcomms.com/letters/2014/06/20/we-have-to-find-out/). What I want is a featured image that people can click on to see the entire photo (like they can with a gallery). When I upload as a gallery, I get this weird double image, and when I upload simply as a featured image, you’re unable to click to get the lightbox. Is there a solution?
Hi Jasminebina,
Thank you very much for your purchase, I hope you enjoy using the theme.
Ah I see, I think it’s because you are trying to use a gallery but only have one image there. To do what you want to do you need to use a standard post format and simply set the featured image style to “off”, then at the top of the post content area, manually insert the image using the “add media” button, if you set it to link to the media file option, it will be clickable (lightbox) too.
Hope this helps

Hello dear, this theme also have a dark style ?
Hi MeMoJB,
Thanks for the interest in Valenti! The theme had a dark style for the navigation bar, but not for the content area of the page, however, a couple of users have created dark versions of the theme by adding a bit of custom css to the Custom CSS box in the theme options, so if you understand CSS, it shouldn’t be hard for you.

Hi!
I have a client with a WordPress installation using your Valenti theme. Good work, looks great and is fun to work with. I have been asked to prepare the site to be translated using WPML. I have so far not found a way to translate the content of the page builder. Am I overseeing anything? Maybe you have a quick hint for me. Would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Hey Iamserge,
That’s great to hear
All you need to do is create a translation page for each language (just like you would a post), and set up the modules again, as because each language has different named categories/tags/etc, apart from giving modules a translated title, you need to set modules up specifically for that language for it to all work. Hope this helps.

Hello,
Is it possible to add more rows to the metro grid on the homepage?
Is there a wall and mosiac blog style?
Is there a wall, metro, and mosiac gallery style?
Can a widescreen video display at top of post?
Thanks
Hey Ashirion,
Thanks for the interest in Valenti.
No the grids that you can use are of either 4/5/6 posts, however, you can add multiple grids if you build the homepage with the pagebuilder, and using the “offset” option in each module, you can make them show a continuation of posts, this homepage demo example was built only using grids, but of course you could add other modules in the mix too: http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/homepage-grids/
There is no mosaic blog style, as I really dislike that style of arranging posts, it makes it visually untidy and difficult for readers to really see all the information on the screen (eyes don’t have a structure to follow). Valenti is meant to be clean and work well on real websites (make visitors see all the content).
You can add videos using the Valenti video post format design, which looks like this when used on a full-background featured image style http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/videogames/post-with-background-slideshow-video-review/ But you could also copy/paste the video url (http://www.youtube...) directly into the post content and it will automatically embed and be responsive. If your post has the sidebar turned off (option inside each post), then the video would be full-width.
Hope this helps

Amazing theme, I’m considering buying and I have feature suggestion;
1.Post Slider like Braxton theme http://themeforest.net/item/braxton-premium-wordpress-magazine-theme/5874984
2.Optional Layer slider on home page.
Love your integration with buddypress!
Hey Barnisayz,
Thanks very much for the interest in Valenti and your kind words
1- The url you pasted goes to the Theme description page, so I’m not sure, if you mean a slider inside a post that only shows images/captions, you will need to get a plugin for that, and i’d recommend looking on Codecanyon for one.
2- The theme is compatible with Revolution Slider (but does not include it, so you need to buy a license on Codecanyon) which allows you to create sliders with layers. And if you used the Valenti pagebuilder to create a homepage, you add a “Custom code module” to the homepage and simply paste the revolution slider shortcode that you get after creating a slider, and it will output there.
Hope this info is useful.

Hi,
I am currently using your theme Ciola but was considering switching to Valenti. I have a lot of reviews with ratings. Would these transfer over to the new theme? Thank you!
Hey Gwenlorraine,
Thanks very much for checking out my other theme
Setting up Valenti is really straight-forward and can be done really quickly depending on your site, but unfortunately the reviews do not transfer over, as in Valenti I wrote a completely new review system from almost scratch, so if you did change, you would have to transfer the reviews over to the new system. In my next review magazines, the Valenti review system core will remain so it will be a lot easier to change to them (this is why I had to re-write it for Valenti, to allow for this to be possible in the future).
Hope this helps

Hi There,
Is it possible to have rounded corners on all pages (boxed layout)?
Looking forward to your reply. Awesome theme
Just perfect for my Photography….
Hey again,
What specific element are you asking about? If you can show me a url or point out exactly where you imagine rounded corners, I can give a better answer
Cubell
Hi Cubell,
Thanks for the reply. I mean all corners on all pages/ the overall theme layout – it is possible to have rounded corners?
Site is currently in UC mode, so no URL at this time. Coming v. soon though.
Hey again,
By all pages, do you mean images of posts? As in, the post thumbnails that appear everywhere?
