It’s me again:) I tried so many times but did not show page numbers in main page as I did not use drag & drop. It has “loads more”. How can I remove loads more and put numbers there?

Go to the theme options -> Homepage tab, and there is an infinite scroll option there, if you turn it off it will use normal numbered pagination.

Do you mean the semi transparent background behind the text? If so, simply copy/paste the following code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:
.cb-grid-4 .cb-article-meta, .cb-grid-5 .cb-article-meta, .cb-grid-6 .cb-article-meta { background: rgba(0,0,0,0.5); }
To make it darker/light, change the 0.5 value (1 = visible, 0 = transparent)

I tried this, but the older version is much more better. Now I changed the global colour to close to pink but I would like to change this hover colour in some parts.
1- In the mainpage, below he featured grid; when ? hover the picture of the post, its’ colour change into pink. How can I change it?
2- This also happens in all posts under the navigation menu. I also want to change them.
3- When I choose category or a tag, posts unders these have the same hover color.Want to change them too.

Hi Cubell, I also want to change the heading color of an article at the same with when I am hovering its image. This is not for articles in the grid. This is for the ones under the grid. Right now both of these change but not at the same time. How can I do that?

No problem! Are you saying you only have a global color set in the theme options? If so, all you need to do is edit each category and give each one its own category global color and it will use that automatically for everything related to that category. Hope this helps!

I change the hover of headings from CSS. I apply blue as a hover colour in the main page as heading. Try copy/paste the following code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:
.cb-grid-4 > div:hover .cb-article-meta, .cb-grid-5 > div:hover .cb-article-meta, .cb-grid-6 > div:hover .cb-article-meta{ background: rgba(0,0,0,0.3); }
And change the RGBA value to be the blue you want. You can use http://www.css3maker.com/css-3-rgba.html to get the right RGBA color.

What do you mean by specific landing page? A page that only mobile users are redirected to? If so, you would need to find a plugin for that type of specific functionality, as it definitely requires custom code to act that way.

Thank you very much for your purchase, I hope you enjoy using the theme.
The purchase code can be found inside the zip file you downloaded here. Or you can go to the “Downloads” section, and on Valenti, select to download the “License certificate and purchase code” file, and that will have it.
However, I can answer you question here, you are trying to install the wrong file, that is why you get that error (happens if you try to install any zip file that isn’t a real theme). When you download the file from here, you need to extract the contents, and inside there you will find the documentation folder, license files, etc, and a file called “valenti.zip”, that is the real theme file and that is what you need to download.

1- No, eso no es posible, pero es una buena idea y en un futuro update tal vez vea si pueda agregar esa opcion.
2- Valenti tiene varios estilos diferentes para mostrar el “Featured image” en cada post, como se ve aqui: http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/theme-features/post-parallax-featured-image/ pero nota que esto solo es para el featured image del post.

Si se puede hacer eso, lo unico que pasaria es que si el post esta en dos categories diferentes, y agregas las dos categorias a tu menu, cuando estes dentro del post, las dos categorias en el menu tendran un color, ya que el post pertenece a las dos.

Hi Cubell, quick question. I set header fonts to OPen sans and it looks good in the menu but on the post titles it looks like its bolded ? is there any way to make it appear same as in the menu . For example u can see the contrast here http://themindplace.com/category/mind/ . Really thick bold post titles

Do you mean the “Emotional fulfilment….” titles? if so, they are indeed bold, but you can easily change that by copy/paste the following code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:
.cb-blog-style-a .cb-meta h2 { font-weight: normal; }
That will make the titles of all blog style A posts not be bold, you can change the ”.cb-blog-style-a” to ”.cb-blog-style-b”, etc to do the same to other blog styles.

I am having problems with the mega menu. Everytime I complete the mega menu, it deletes my other menus from the navigation bar. Is there a limit to how many menu’s can be on the navigation bar or is there a problem with the mega menu? Thanks in advance.

No, there are no limits to the number of megamenus you can have. Can you try disabling all your plugins to see if one of them is causing conflicts?

I have just disabled all of the plugins and retried it but it still deletes my other menus from the menu bar once i fill up the home button mega menu. Any suggestions?
That is strange, can you try creating a new menu, add items to it and try to use that? And what do you mean by “fill up the home button mega menu”? Can you explain the exact steps to try recreate it?
I have 10 menus on the navigation bar including the main/home menu. All of the menus have 8 sub categories under them. When I am completing the menus in the appearance section and I add 32 sub tabs in the mega menu under the main/home menu, I loose the last 3 category menus, they simple disappear from the navigation bar.
Where do they dissapear from? On the actual site? Or in Appearance -> Menus? If you try to quickly create a brand new menu with the same items, does it happen still?

I see, can you try disabling all of your plugins and try creating a new one again to see if a plugin is causing some weird conflict?

I disabled all of the plugins and created an entirely new one, and it still deleted my the last of my navigation tabs. I have 10 including a main/home tab categories, with 8 subcategories each. Then in the mega menu under the main/home tab I have 4 columns and 8 rows. Once I create the mega menu, the 8th, 9th, and 10th tabs disappear. Thank you for your help in advance.

Ah I see! But if you use a create a much smaller menu, it works? If it does, I did some research and it may actually have something to do with a “WordPress menu limit” issue that seems to happen in some servers/setups, perhaps try reading this guide: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-custom-menu-items-limit-in-wordpress/ has some potential fixes that might solve your problem!

1- That needs to be built into the lightbox, therefore the only way is to disable the valenti lightbox and install one that has that already, such as fancybox.

Your theme seems wonderfull, but I don’t have the same font size in the menu than your exemple, and even Wanderlusters, and it’s not the same wide screen, it’s a little bit smaller.. Any idea to fix that ?

I had a look at your site, and it has to be a dodgy plugin with aggressive code that is causing those issues, I notice you have a lot of plugins installed, so I recommend you disable them all to see if it fixes the issue, and then start enabling one by one until you find the culprit!

Many users have Revolution slider on their homepages by creating a homepage using the Valenti pagebuilder and adding a “Custom code” module, which is a special module that allows you to insert shortcodes/custom code. If you add your Revolution slider shortcode code there, that module will output it as expected. And even though I do not offer customization services, you should be able to find a good developer on studio.envato.com to help you out, as that site is run by the same people who run Themeforest.

That isn’t possible as that module isn’t available as a widget, you can however use the “Valenti latest posts” widget and select the “Big” style for it, and the posts will be that big size.

Hi there,
Has anyone had an issue with the background image being intermittently cached/now showing?

We have WP Super Cache installed an the problem rectifies itself when I delete the cache.
Any ideas how I can force the background to load every time?

I have never seen that issue before, but if it is a cache issue, I’d recommend changing plugins, I personally use W3 Total Cache and think it’s the best free cache plugin available.
Also, when the image doesn’t load, right click anywhere using Google Chrome and then select “inspect element”, then click on the console tab and see if it gives you any clues as to what is going on.

I uninstalled ‘WP Super Cache’ and installed ‘W3 Total Cache’ but the problem persists.
It certainly seems to be a cache issue, because as I mentioned, whenever I clear cache on the plugin it temporarily returns?
I followed instruction and within the console tab, it details;
Consider using ‘dppx’ units, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), (min-resolution: 192dpi)

SuperCache can’t just be uninstalled and deleted, you need to do a couple of extra things to truly get rid of it, check here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/other_notes/ that will get rid of it, and hopefully fix your issue permanently.

I have never used that plugin so unfortunately I can’t give you a definite answer, but if it is written properly for WordPress, it should work fine with the theme. Many users use Revolution slider with the theme and it works as expected.

The button shortcode does work on pages, I just tested it on my local development site. Edit the page and go on “Text” view mode and see if the shortcode looks normal there too. Can you share the URL to see what is going on?

Hi There, Wondered if anyone else was suffering from the mobile youtube overlay bug that just started yesterday.. All embedded videos are fine on a pc but anything on a mobile a white screen now appares in the middle of the player with heading such as Get The URL you can’t watch the videos at all now..

We’re currently working with the outdated InReview theme from Elegant Themes and would like to move it to Valenti. We have a lot of reviews with ratings which we’ll need to copy over somehow. How hard will it be to export / import the ratings? Is your custom review plugin only compatible with your themes? If we in the future move over to another theme we’ll have to go through the same process as we have to go through now.

Thank you very much for your interest in Valenti.
Unfortunately though, transferring reviews from one theme to another can be quite time-consuming if you have lots of reviews, the reason is that review systems have to create their own tables in posts to save the review data, and this has to be written by the author, which means the names of tables and the way they work are different from author to author. This means that if you change to any theme, you will have to copy over your review data (depending on how it is setup in your current) theme and paste it in your new theme’s.
So yes, if you change to a theme of a different author in the future, you would have to go through the process again.

Hey. My sliders “SLIDER A” doesn’t work. I’v chosen categories from where it should load posts. I’ve got a problem while installing a theme, so maybe it is why it doesnt work. And my question: If I log into my ftp and change the whole directory with theme into a standard theme (I mean into a folder which I get after buying a theme) will it change something? Eg apperance of a main page? Or some settings? Settings are saved in a database so it shouldnt be a problem, isn’t it?
Another question. Is it possible to “stick” a Breaking News bar, like a MegaMenu?
