It seems that it does not work well with the JetPack plug-in by Wordpress (the comment functions did not work anymore after installing that plug-in) It seems to conflict with the built in social functions of GoBlog. Do you know about that problem and is there a way to correct that? Thanks a lot!
Comments system works fine here with JetPack installed. What issues are you facing with comments and social functions. Please elaborate.

We now have another issue When we try to access www.birdsinthelens.com from IPad we get a redirect to apps.rumobi.info and the site wont load up – did you ever see this before?
No, I never seen this. Moreover this thing has nothing to do with the theme. Something is surely wrong at your end.
Try opening other websites too.
Ah got lucky fixed it. It was a script from 100widgets.com I tested yesterday. I removed it and its fine now

Logo will not resize. There is not much space for logo. Only small logo looks perfect there. So I don’t think that there is a need to resize the logo.

I can post using gallery format OK but why is it that I cannot use edit post and change the images in the gallery post. Can this type of post be edited fully?
Yes it can be fully edited. You can both change and remove the images.

Sorry another question. The widget boxes do not extend to the edge of the display area there is a wide gap to the right of the full view on the right, and the same on the left. Can I change this.

You mean you want to add links to other blogs in the sidebar?

You have to use text widget for it and add lists like

You can disable next/prev links, author box, social buttons etc using Theme Options.

Whena visitor is posting a comment the comment box is staying with their name and EMail address visible. Something is really wrong here. Can you test at www.birdsinthelens.com
Name and email stays their in browser only. It’s not theme’s problem. If user delete the cache of the browser then name and email will not be there. It is the feature of modern browser so users don’t need to type name and email each time.

You also need to copy and paste the CSS from that website. You can use Custom CSS option of Theme Options to paste the custom CSS.

No importing a page only imports it’s content. It will not import the styling.

say i HAVE A JPEG 1024×819 72 DPI in photoshop how do I use resize that to use as featured image in that whe I use the + button on it it blows it up way to far?

The optimal size for featured image is 768×359px. If you keep the width and height of image more than these dimensions then your images will be automatically resized.
Hover doesn’t do anything apart from adding some opacity and + icon.

If it don’t crop then it will not look good on the theme. So it’s obvious that images will be cropped.

Image quality depends upon the original image you upload. Rest WordPress takes care of image quality while cropping it.
The featured image in the last post was2364 X 1920 300dpi in the original the bird is centred properly why is top and bottom cropped

WordPress automatically crops the image from top and bottom to fit it into proper size.

Please look carefully. There is a widget with the name GoBlog Recent Posts. The widget that you are using is present with WordPress installation by default.

A page contains content of a single page for example Contact page, About page etc. You may create different pages for different purposes.

You can align logo to centre from Theme Options -> Header
For header slider you can keep minimum width as per your screen resolution. I recommend 1920px

when viewing on an IPad the picture in the slider touches the left hand side then on the right stops about 2/3 of the way across

The sidebars go below the content on smaller resolution. Boxed or full width layout is your own choice.
Ah, thing is when we view all other sites they all show the whole width, why just on the Ipad? Site shows fine on Kindle Fire for example

The layout is like this only. It can’t be changed. It is designed for best viewing on each screen. Content area will become really small on 768px if I add sidebar with content.

I recently purchased this theme for a Blog we are planning to have for our IT Department at The University of Oklahoma. We are having issues with it running Super Slow. We’ve tried a variety of different themes, of all which run perfectly well, so I’m not quite sure what the issue is. We’ve looked into the system, mysql, and httpd log and have not seen anything peculiar. Even tried php debugging and disabling plugins and we are still having the same problem.

It works on normal server where WordPress is installed. I’m using shared hosting for demo. Shared hostings usually are not that much good at speed and it opens fine there also.
