I really need a better way to change colors on the kidszone theme. I am unable to determine what is what in the style.css file.
Is there just no ‘colors’ option available for this template on the theme customization wordpress console?

Hi i am also having issues with my images. When i uploaded all my images i was getting all different shapes and sizes on my shop so i resized every image to the exact size and it seemed to have worked. However now when you hover over a product it sometimes adds the 2nd image perfectly or it shows half the 2nd image on half the thumbnail. What can i do to resolve this issue as it doesn’t look good.

Hi thanks for the reply. I regenerated all the thumbnails as suggested and all went through successfully but nothing has changed. If you check the shop all images when you hover over go come up all different. Only a couple switch image perfectly. Thanks
Hi!., We checked your shop page and we can’t see the issue as we have seen before. The problem occurs if you upload smaller image size. Try to upload with image size of 1000×1000.

Thank you very much for helping and the quick reply! I upload the snapshot image to http://www.t-skyline.com/temp/snap1.jpg first, you may take a look the snapshot image first. This happens to the www.examples.com/forums/ normal default forum ppbress page. As you could see the there is a duplicate of the forumns in the snapshot. Which .php file we could take look at first? because it seems the inside the php, it prints the forum tables twice. One above the social sharing icons, and another one below the it. If we know which php file which we should look like, then we might be solve it. Thanks a lot!

I was amazed to see how many images are being created when uploading a Media. Some sizes:
The originele picture of course
WC 90×90 (+ Back-end Lijst producten)
WC 520×535
WC 520×520
These are generated by WC and used on the webshop itself.
WP 150×150 (+ Back-end Product details product gallery)
WP 300×300 (+ Back-end Product details feature image)
WP 1024×1024
From the standard WP media importer. These can be eliminated by setting all thumbnail sizes in WP Media configuration
WP 60×60 (+ Back-end lijst Media)
WP 460×460 (+ Back-end Media details)
... and several other sizes also, in total 18 different sizes.

This generates a lot of diskspace. I could use a plugin like Smush.it but I first want to know where all this is coming from. What sizes does the theme generate?
Also, is the plugin ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ required for this theme? Do you use it in uploading media or what so ever?

Thanks for the update. Wow so many sizes. Any suggestions to reduce the size of the files. Smush.it is a tool but it seems to slowdown the website.

Hi!., All the images sizes are needed for each section in the theme. We will try to reduce it future versions.
Coming back on the many different sizes created by this theme, all very logical and related to each theme function.
Now I want to combine these sizes to optimize the webshop page speed and response time. To measure, the performance of the shop I used GTMetrix and got a lot of recommendations. For example:
http://soitsme.eu/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/B20090-520x520.jpg is resized in HTML or CSS from 520×520 to 206×206. Serving a scaled image could save 100.6KiB (84% reduction).So CSS or HTML is resizing the image to 206×206 while the picture is in 520×520 (configured in WC like you recommended).
But the 206×206 is not in your list!
What can we do to optimize? Creating so many sizes, to assign the correct size on the page so pages load more quickly.
The theme is very impressive! Good job. Is it ready for adsene?

I’ve got three problems with this awesome theme.
1. Google Fonts. I need to use Latin coding, but I can’t find a way to choose Latin fonts.
2. There is a free space between TOP MENU and the content of the site. There is no such free space in theme demo so I wonder what’s wrong. It doesn’t look good. Here’s theme under progress: www.auntiemarthas.com
3. I can’t find any way to translate this theme and it was said that it is translation ready.

1) You can select the google fonts from Dashboard -> Kidszone -> Appearance -> Typography.
2) If you have added the slider shortcode inside the editor, then please remove that and add the slider from the “Slider Options” below the slider, so that there will no spacing issues.
3) Translation
a) You can find the default.po file in the themes folder itself. Get into this path wp-content/themes/kidszone/languages/ and you can find the default.po file.
b) If you are running a multi language site, you need to install the wpml plugin.
c) Or if you are running a single language site other than english. Say for example if you are running German site only. Go to wp-config.php and change the language code as define(‘WPLANG’, ‘de_DE’);
d) Then rename the file default.po to de_DE.po and open the file with a poeditor and you can translate all the texts from our theme.
e) Finally you will get the mo file there. Uploading that mo file the site will be fully translated to german.
1) This doesn’t solve my problem, because I know I can do that, but there isn’t any option there to choose Latin extended pack.
I can choose that on Google Fonts page: https://www.google.com/fonts and I’ve got all polish letters available. But when I choose the same font in Kidszone it seems that there is only Latin basic not extended.
I checked this on Alegreya SC font.

4) I changed font color in Appearance / Menu but only Hover color worked.
I wanted to change color of the MENU and the ACTIVE page color. When I change “Primary / Default color”, nothing changes on the website.
5) How to change the color of the TOP bar (the one with phone number in it)
I tried to install WPML plugin, but I only found paid version on the website. Is this the only way to translate website?

Translation went fine, but there is another problem about latin-ext coding. It seems that it works only with MENU font. Not with other fonts for examle subscription buttons. There are errors displaying polish letters for example here on the left: http://www.auntiemarthas.com/blog/
Is there any way that this wouldbe used for all fonts on the website? If not, where can I change the font of subscription and send buttons?

Hi!., Remove the shortcode in the shop page and check it. By default the shop page will show the recent products. You dont need to specify the shortcode.

My site has 2 of my products image one size and 2 another size. They were all uploaded one size. How do I get them to align perfectly?

The issue in your shop page is due to the product title. Paste the following css in Buddha Panel -> Integration -> Custom Css, so that the alignment issue will be fixed.

Also, please make sure to place it in the “Text” editor mode on your page.
