Is it possible to setup the theme so that only registered Employers can search for candidates and also only registered candidates can search for jobs.

Thx, Madoda

Yes, https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-require-an-active-job-package-to-view-resumes/

Not sure about limiting access to jobs to only registered users, perhaps a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/pagerestrict/ could help?

Hi

I see in your features you have a lot of “Paid add-on.” Does this mean I have to pay for those extra plugins separately or are they included for free on this theme?

i.e WooCommerce paid listing etc

Thx, Madoda

The prices of all paid add-ons can be found here: https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/ they are sold exclusively on http://www.WPJobManager.com

We support Mike Jolley the developer of WP Job Manager by supporting his plugins in our theme, and don’t give away his plugins away in our product as this would be illegal.

Noted. Thanks.

Hi,

we are already using Job Engine Theme, but we are not completely satisfied. We are wondering to change our job board for Jobify but here is a question with migration of all data.

Is there some easy and sure way to do a data migration from Job Engine to Jobify?

Question, why are you not satisfied with the Job Engine Theme? what features, design elements are not possible with the Job Engine Theme?

If you want to migrate data from Job Engine hopefully they have registered a custom post type and you can export the data using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-import/ to export and import the data into the WP Job Manager plugin which is the plugin that powers our Jobify theme.

We want do migrate due to lot of issues which we are facing with their code.

Could you please advise us how can we migrate to Jobify ? What should be order of steps? Is it enough to purchase Jobify theme if we want to migrate all – users, job offers and resumes ? Or should we also purchase some addons to WP JobManager? If yes could you please provide us with instructions on how to do that?

Thanks in advance!

The theme “Jobify” is powered by a plugin called WP Job Manager, this plugin is a free plugin that can be downloaded here, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-job-manager/ this plugin powers all of the job related features, you would need to import the data from JobEngine theme into the WP Job Manager plugin, at no point are you importing data into the Jobify theme.

I spoke to the developer of the WP Job Manager plugin regarding his recommendations on what people should use to import data from another sources i.e. JobEngine theme into the WP Job Manager plugin and he recommended this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-import/ apparently it allows you to import data from any XML, CSV, etc into any WordPress plugin.

I would recommend contacting Mike the developer of the WP Job Manager plugin if you have any questions that relate to importing data from JobEngine theme into the WP Job Manager plugin as he would be best suited to answer these questions.

Default user role not working. Hi even when I change the wordpress setting so the default user role is employer. Each new registration still has a user role – none. How can I fix this? I want the default user role to be employer or subscriber. Cheers

I’m a bit confused I originally went to your support and that says to contact you here at themeforest? I have logged into your support but it won’t let me start a ticket. What is going on with the support?. To answer your question, yes I am using User Role editor but that is also set to empoyer as default.

You can submit a support request directly here: https://support.astoundify.com/contact-support/ What happens when you try to contact us via this form, once registered?

Thanks it’s ok now. I though I was already registered. I’ve posted the request. Cheers

I am running 1.7. How do I update the jobify theme? thanks.

Replied via support :D

Hi, great theme and exactly what i need. Just a quick pre-sales question. I don’t see a search widget…. surely this is one of the most important parts of a jobs site… so that candidates can search for available jobs in specific cities, towns, etc…. I saw the map feature… but looking for something similar to they have on: Seek.com.au. Is this available in the theme? Thanks

Actually… don’t worry about replying…I’ve had a proper look at this theme and there are a lot of things that put me off buying it. Soliloquy slider for a start. Also the job lists don’t show the rates of pay… a lot of things lacking in this theme, which could have made it a good job site. Just my opinion.

You don’t need to use Soliloquy, you can use Revolution Slider for example, or any other slider on the home page as you can enter the slider shortcode into the home page widget:

some_text

You can add any field you want to the job submission form using the Form Editor plugin, so lets say you want to add Salary, then go ahead and add that field to the form.

Just like this:

some_text

It will then display on the job submission form and on the job page.

some_text

Hey, I don’t see where you can add a button in the slider. please help!

Its just HTML i.e.

<a href="URL" class="button">Button Text</a>

Question concerning site SEO. Since installing this theme in my job section, I have been trying to figure out how to improve the SEO of my main page. I typically use Yoast SEO for my sites, but since I use the customized widgets on a static frontpage, the page itself is read as a blank page.

Is their anyway to boost my front page SEO? I have tried adding text and even a feature image on the backend, but when I do that, the customized frontpage widgets disappear. Help?

PRESALES:

We’re looking at setting up a quick n’ easy tendering website – how easy it is to change “Resumes” to “Services” ?

Furthermore, I expect a direct phonecall to let me know when your directory theme is ready so I can be poised with my credit card, bashing the life out of the F5 key.

I would recommend adding your email to our mailing list or follow us here on Twitter for theme updates & here on ThemeForest for our new theme releases.

Hello.

I’m setting this theme up for a customer. And i have one question. Where can i find the php for the “Post A Job” page? I’ve looked everywhere. It would help me a lot if you could help me on this one.

By the way, very nice theme!

Regards, Markus

I using a page with password protected. but i think it is not working. my website is naukrinfo.com and in my website resume page is password protected but it is not showing me password and in my page footer i added some widget but the auto width is not properly working. i have to use “br” code to show it properly…

We will reply to your message via our help desk, I see you already posted a message.

Sorry to bug, lol :P

Any new info on a possible ETA for 2.1?

Let’s say we purchase the theme now… if the update with the hero-banner search update comes in the new update, can we apply an update and have it appear?

Thanks! I just really love that search banner thing.

We don’t yet have an estimated time of when 2.1. will be released as we are still working on 2.0 of the Jobify theme :)

If you purchase the theme now you will always get access to the free updates that we provide via ThemeForest.net, we will send out an email to our customers telling them that the new update is ready for download, you can then apply the update to your site and get all the new features.

I would recommend adding your email to our mailing list or follow us here on Twitter for theme updates & here on ThemeForest for our new theme releases.

Hi,

I am trying to make the space between the navigation menu items smaller. I want to add some more navbar options so I need more space. I inspected the element and found this code;

.nav-menu-primary ul li { margin-left: 25px; float: left; position: relative; }

I tried doing a custom CSS and changed the margin-left to 10px but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

I am currently using Jobera, but I’m thinking about switching to Jobify. What I would need is to keep all the details about my customers, so that their listings is still on the site. I don’t want to loose anything. Is this possible?

We have not used Jobera but from what it sounds like, the Jobera theme uses most if not all of the same plugins that our Jobify theme does. All of the data is stored in those plugins for resume, job content so switching themes should be a breeze for keeping the same content on your site.

We would advise not to do this on a live site though, if you want to do a professional job when moving to Jobify, create a clone of your current site using a backup tool like BackupBuddy and clone the website to a development server (non-live site) to see how switching from Jobera to Jobify works, then if you are happy do the same on your live site.

Hi guys,

Before making the purchase of the subject I will explain my need:

The features of the theme would be enough for what I need, but I wanted to work otherwise.

1 – Candidates would do a registry and your resume (CV) should be sent to the job you want when you click on APPLY JOB. If you did not register, do register and fill the CV. In my case, companies would not have access to the CV.

2 – I saw a few comments ago, you stating a plugin to include additional fields. This add-on adds additional fields in the forms of CV too?

3 – I will work with Paypal. I’ll have to buy the add-on toilet Paid Listings or not for proper operation?

I await a return.

Thank you

1. You can use the Applications plugin for this purpose. https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/applications/

2. Yes, the WP Job Manager Form Editor plugin can add form fields in both the CV/Resume or Jobs, the plugin is currently free of charge if you select Beta Tester when purchasing: https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-field-editor/

3. Yes you will need WC Paid Listings to work with PayPal and WP Job Manager https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/wc-paid-listings/

Hi Jobify,

I’m considering buying the Jobify template for Team/Players purposes (same principle as Companies/Jobs/Resumes).

My question however: Can I relate the Resumes to the Company profiles the same way as Jobs are related to Companies?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers, Jeroen

Question: Can I relate the Resumes to the Company profiles the same way as Jobs are related to Companies?

Answer: I would recommend contacting the developer of the Resume Manager plugin to see if that is possible with the plugin, Mike the developer of Resume Manager can be contact here: https://wpjobmanager.com/contact/
