Hiding the navigation opening of page will require some additional jQuery.

If you could check the demo for all the function requirements. The theme will function with all features seen in demo. Feature not seen will most likely require additional codes.

You can have a lot of control over google indexing through SEO plugins. Currently those in homepage boxes will be treated as headings and texts for google search engines.

Hi, Yes you can add following to style.css file to have transparent page contents background.

.container {
background: rgba(255,255,255,0.6);
}

Where 255,255,255 is rgb white and 0.6 is transparency ( 1 to 0.1 )

Hi, If you haven’t made any changes to the theme files then you can safely overwrite all files.

Updating theme won’t affect your posts/pages. But you can make a backup of them as best practice before changes.
