Hi, can I make 1170px width in this theme?
Right now it has to be done by modifying the theme code, there is not a built in option. However, in our next major release, there will be controls to set the site width to whatever you’d like.

So I added a social share on the home page, and when I click share on Facebook, it doesn’t say what I want it to say. It says this:

P.S. It works with all the other options, just Facebook is the one that it doesn’t work

We’ve not ever given out a date for 3.6, last month or this month. Too many things can cause delays so we cannot give out dates. You will get notified via email from Themeforest, or through your WP admin dashboard if you are setup for auto updates once its ready. Also we are taking on beta testers on our support forum if you are interested in that.

Is it possible to edit/modify an inserted shortcode via shortcode editor?
Hmmm once the shortcode is generated and placed onto the page, you have to edit it on the page itself. What you suggest is more along the lines of a page builder. We are adding a page builder to Avada in v3.6, which is our next major release and will be free to you since you have already purchased Avada.

I just downloaded and installed Avada. I have done this by using an Installaron on my Direct Admin of Wordpress and then uploaded the file avada.zip

It seems to me that you have a bad installation. have you tried to redownload and upload it again? Its possible not all the files upload properly.

We are unable to give out a release date due to the nature of development work, we do not want to give a date then miss it due to testing or complications. However 3.6 is our next major release so it is not too far away. The page builder can be used for posts as well once it is done.

How can I add a custom icon / svg to the font awesome collection? So that it will display and can be selected in the font awesome shortcode generator?

This can be done but is not a quick answer that we can give out. It involves some custom work. I would suggest googling this if you are familiar with doing sucj work, if not we can recommend using Microlancer.com to hire a dev to help with that.

Im trying to edit my home page however I have html code in both my visual AND text editor.
For eg: I paste the html code below in the text editor and when i switch to Visual editor the same html code is displayed.
