How do I remove the “float” option from the social icons? I wanted to move it to just below the logo, and did it, but it’s position is not fixed, it changes according to the resolution.

Presales question. When showing images in fullscreen mode a few of the samples has titles. What else is possible to overlay on the images in fullscreen mode? More complex text fields, buttons etc.? And can placement of such elements be controlled? Thanks!

I’ve noticed gallery slider doesn’t scale very well on some of image with portrait layout. All of my photo I uploaded are 2048 px on the longest side, so it a portrait layout would be around 1365 px across.

Hi, I am about to switch my skylab site from a gallery-basis to a portfolio-basis, but I have noticed the following, which bothers me a little. The portfolio list seems to resize well on monitors of any size, but portfolio items do not make good use of large monitors. It looks like pictures can never be wider than 905 pixels, because that’s how the container is set. Example on your demo site: http://themeforest.net/item/skylab-portfolio-photography-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/4740718 If you maximize your browser window on a large screen (1920×1080 and above), the images are stuck to 905 pixels.

How can I get around this limitation and allow my visitors to view my pictures in a wider format (for instance 1600×1200) ? I have development knowledge, so do not hesitate to point me directly to the files and lines where changes need to be made.

I have an issue with a customization I have been trying to do to the Portfolio List-page.

What I’m trying to do is setting up a “Portfolio List” page WITH the filtering shown in the same way as in the “Portfolio Fixed Width” template.

I have successfully gotten the filters to show by editing the CSS and page-portfolio.php files. But the problem is that when the filters are shown, all the portfolio pictures/grid disappear.

Also, I haven’t been able to remove the filters in the sidebar while at the same time show the filters above the portfolio pictures/grid.

1. In the demo site I do not see any filtering option in the gallery mode. Is it possible to add an option to filter the gallery by category? (ie. paintings, sculptures, etc.) ?

2. Is it possible to add the picture title (or description) below each picture in gallery mode? (similar to this: http://goo.gl/6i05yI )

The portfolio homepage is displaying as a 5 column grid when in full width mode. I need it to display as 3-4 columns.

I tried the below code but it hasn’t made a difference:

in js/jquery.portfolio.js on lines 66-70 and replace it with if ( megaPortfolio.portfolio_columns == ‘portfolio_four_columns’ ) { colWidth = 4; } else { colWidth = 3; }

My website is visualarchitect.net I have the skylab theme, which was initially a very appealing theme up until the site went live and new problems surfaced.

1. When viewing the site on mobile devices like an iphone/safari the sites homepage shows up and there is a ‘menu’ option on the right hand side. a. the images on the home page are supposed to be all the same size or appear to be the same size. b. The drop down in this ‘menu’ button offers various gallery options and things that do not make sense to the viewer or me. It also offers some of the proper button options, but they are all unorganized. c. So when viewers click on ‘classic gallery’ for example they get a 404 msg. -Please help in correcting these problems.

2. When using the mason video gallery, it is ideal if viewers could get a description of what the video by scrolling over the thumbnail image which will then reveal descriptive text, as seen on this website here: http://www.devanshjhaveri.com/ How can I make this happen in mason gallery on video thumbnails?

3. I’d like for viewers to easily share individual pictures but the galleries like fancybox and a few other sliders do not seem to make this possible. Is there any suggestion you have to make this possible in any way?

4. Are there any social media plugins that you would recommend for instagram, twitter and facebook?

Lastly, Jetpack seems to interfere with the Skylab theme. Is there anything you would suggest?

My apologies for the longwinded questions but it seems as if WP just got even more complicated in the past few hours between quirks, updates, and combating plugins.

Hi, it’s me again. The social network logos in the left margin are not visible in Firefox for Mac). This problem occurs since at least version 28 and is still present in current version 31. It works fine in Safari. No need for me to give you the url to my site because it can be reproduced with just any of the sites listed at the bottom of the Skylab Themeforest page. So you can test it.

Is there anything you can do to fix it ?

He has photo captions for every image on his smooth slider which is awesome. However, I noticed they have a white background on the horizontal photos so you can read the captions. Is there a way please, that you could put the captions UNDERNEATH the image so there is no overlapping or obscuring of the photo at all. That’s the ultimate thing!

Please let me know, and I look forward to purchasing this this afternoon!!!
