Hi, conc. first question: use LayerSlider WP menu option on the left in your WP admin are, here choose the slider you want to edit and edit your slides content here. You can put a link in a usual way, check http://www.docs.purethemes.net/sukces/layerslider/documentation/documentation.html
Concerning your second question: go to “Menu” in your WP admin, choose “Footer” menu and edit these categories
I’m have a menu display issue. It looks fine on load, but when you scroll down, and then scroll back to the top, a gray line appears on the left and righthand sides. The line is about 30px long. The site is besane.com and a screenshot is attached for your reference. Thanks.

Hello, My layerslider WP isn’t loading. this only happened over the last week or so, and i am unsure why. I feel it may have something to do with a purchase code error in the plugin that i can’t seem to fix, but truthfully i have no idea. i have tried re-downloading the theme uninstalling both the theme and plugin and reinstalling them again. hope to hear from you soon!

Hi, maybe lets start with http://screencast.com/t/aJChvtpAOay and demo content. Did you try to import demo content as described in documentation? After importing according our instructions you will have the whole demo content, i.e.:
- Layerslider as you see on our demo website, with all these stars and other slides 
- Menus above
I would highly recommend to import this demo content cause it is a good point to start with learning codeus and its capabilities
In order to deactivate the scrolling of the top menu bar, just, check scripts.js
at the bottem you have now:
jQuery(document).ready(function() { if(jQuery(window).width() > 800) codeus_header_fixed_init(); });
just comment out or remove :
if(jQuery(window).width() > 800) codeus_header_fixed_init();

Hi, you are very welcome. Take a look at documentation, chapter about importing demo content, here you will find all details. It is very simple – just unzip th codeus.zip main file, go to Tools – Import in your WP admin backend (http://prntscr.com/4g2vvm) and choose “Wordpress”, after that choose the xml demo content file from codeus “Demo_Content” folder.

On spidering a site to check links, I noticed that theirs a file /fonts/Codeus-Icons.svg which was 100K. I only use a handful of icons on the site so is it possible to change / reduce this file, to only use icons I need?

I would not recommend to reduce this font icons. Of course you can follow instructions on how to update icon file and remove everything you dont need, but it is a risky thing because of possible font codes, which can go lost
Hello. Great theme! Having and issue with the header texture not working properly. I uploaded a PNG file with transparency which I assumed would automatically tile and overlay the color I have designated. Is this not accurate? It seems to be behind the color and not tiling as well. Thank you!

In the Layer Slider admin, the font (Aileron UltraLight) does not display correctly. It makes lining things up very difficult because I have to preview it on the live site to see how it looks.
Any solution to have the font display in the preview window.
Just solved this issue using the “Add Admin CSS”, but I cannot figure out what css to add to get the buttons (.button class) to display correctly in the preview.

Great theme, but I’m having problems with the buttons… They just don’t follow the links, but instead, when I click on them, they load the whole page again.
When I use any other link (alarm box, usual hyperlinks) it works fine.

Loving the theme so far! Just have a quick question.
I’m trying to get the testimonial widget on the homepage (similar to in your demo). Is there another way to insert it besides by sidebar (like by shortcode)? Because I don’t really want a sidebar on the homepage and all the content after that seems to get shifted to the side because the sidebar is in place. Is there maybe a way to cut off the sidebar after that widget so the rest of the page can become full width? Thanks!

Hi, are you using Home Constructor to build your homepage? With Home Constructor you can combine any pages with any template. For instance you can insert a page with right sidebar and after that a full width page etc

However, I don’t like the Home Constructor. It’s not as robust as building a page within the default WP page editor, and is now making a few other changes a bit more difficult. It would be nice if there was a shortcode for the testimonials so I could just add it to a column instead. Just a thought.

1. Change your theme to some default wp theme like Twenty Eleven )dont worry, your codeus settings will not be lost) 2. Remove Layerslider plugin from your installed plugins 3. Change your theme to Codeus again – the current version of layerslider will be installed.

As many other users who have reporte problem with Yoast SEO, my browser title and h1 are now the same. However, I want to keep them separate. “Force rewrite titles” is NOT ticked in Yoast SEO.
