I have imported the demo content. I am not a webdesigner so I’m confused. What do I do now? http://blueworldrealestate.com how do I edit the sliders, change the home page, edit the content? It’s not easy for basic wordpress users like me. I’m confused. Please help

Have you taken a look at our support center that has videos and documentation?
Editing the sliders depends on which one you want to edit. If its a layer slider, then click on layer slider in your sidebar and find the slider and make edits to it.
Set your home page by going to settings > reading.
Please take some time and check out those links above. The documentation and knowledgebase are searchable and can provide quick answers to most questions like this.

Hi, great theme.. For some reason I cannot get the header 5 to work, logo will not display in the centre?
Have you set the logo to be center aligned in theme options? Its on the logo tab.

I’m a wordpress user. Not a developer. I want to install a demo site and play with it to build our final website.
We have some very bad experiences with template suppliers, where the demo looks beautiful, but the download inclusive demo data is real bull shit. So my question is or you give me the template inclusive demo data that is exact 100% the same as your demo template at http://demo.theme-fusion.com/
If there is any image license issue, you can use a full black image instead of the original image.
If this is 100% the same, I will purchase your template.

I will rather see empty/color photo instead of needing to setup the sliders and do all of the other settings, when you can easily do it on the final files the we buy, so that we don’t have to mess with settings and then wast your time here asking stuff….

That user was asking if it was 100% exact, and that is why I expalined everything to him because no, it si not 100% exact. It is like 95% exact. Please go back and read my full reply to him, if explains everything.
And yes, we do include images and sliders already setup. And no, you dont have to waste any of your time. one click of the button imports the data.

I’m not sure where you received that information from, because its not true. Sliders are setup for you, and so are all other settings.

when you import the dummy content, it takes ages then crashes the browser creating multiple menu items, then when you go into the menu the page never completes loading and crashes, is this a known problem?

On older versions it use to be a rare issue on very few servers, but in 3.5.3 that should not happen as we reduced the load on import. Whenever an issue comes up with import, it is always due to server limitations by the server the content is being imported too.
Make sure you are using v3.5.3. If the issue continues please post on our forum so we can take a look and see if we can help.

hello, I am thinking of buying your theme, Please could I ask these questions before I buy : Im looking at this layout: http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-10/ a) can the main image be a slider? b) in the little flipboxes below main image (where it says “fully responsive” or “premium sliders” ) can I put a image/photo in place of the icon you have here, but to span the whole width of box not just as wide as icon is now? c) how do i get this layout10 setup once bought? a. Yes any page or post can have a slider there.
b. Yes the flip boxes can take an image, and you can set the size of the image, however it cannot go full width, there will be padding around it. see a sample at the bottom of this page: http://theme-fusion.com/avada/flip-boxes/
c. Once you install the theme, you can import the demo content (all) or only that one page. Then you set the home page in the wp settings. Nice and easy

Hmmm is all that content inside of a full width section? If so, you may have a 1px border set, look in the shortcode for border and set it to 0px.

When we use the theme, and write a static page to display as the home page, the title of the static page shows on the home page.
So is there a place in Avada to hide/not display the title? Or we have to go to wordpress source code to change the code. Surely option 1 is preferred.

The menu should show automatically. I see you made some edits to the theme, are you using a child theme? If so try it with the parent theme to verify it works. You may have a custom edit that is causing this.

I am lost with the portfolio. I changed in the theme settings: the path: portfolio to produkte. NOW I always get a 404 Page.
Please help me!!! Then I’ve got another change to make on the project / portfolio page.

For the portfolio permalinks, if you set a custom permalink then you need to set the slug in theme options. Please see this post: http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/how-to-set-a-custom-permalink-link-for-portfolio-posts/
For the other query, you need to change that text either with the translation files (avada.po) or in the single-avada-portfolio.php file.
