It will be done by today update. we are working on them now. 1. Yes, you can able/disable location, Ratings, reviews, events on tabs .(detail page) and it’s all related all of pages for able / disable. ex) if you disable ratings, there would be no stars on all of places.
2. we will add that option soon. I hope it should be on today updates.

6 hours ago you posted, regared the update, that “It will be approved soon. we will leave a comment when it’s ready to download”. I was told (when I needed the help earlier today, this morning CET) that I earlier today updated the theme and therefore hade problems. Now, it works great (still not knowing what version I am using). But is it or is it not the updated version I am using and got help with? you can do by cities (checkboxes : you can select any of them: ex) Newyork, LA, Maxico from your location categories you added)

Hi Javo, Really like the look of this theme and it may be just what im looking for but I have a few queries:
I wish to list professionals of a certain trade within this – Is it possible to list them according to their city only? So remove “Keyword” and “Category” search criteria so the website visitor only has to input their hometown.
Also can the results of tradesman then be ordered based on ratings/review score or other metrics beyond “views”? )
For example a “price” these tradesman may charge.
Also – Is it possible to change or remove the search criteria like “Keyword” or “Category?” I want the user to only input the “Location” as the tradesman are one specific niche area so no need for other categories (yet!) – Then for all the tradesman from that city to be listed only – Sorry I hope this makes sense?
Also is this compatible with WooCommerce to sell items with?

1. the listing can be sort-able by categories. we just replaced a original demo site.. please have a look at “Listing By”
The search part will be updates. it’s on our to-do list. google auto location and zipcode
2. we don’t have yet. but we will add them later. we don’t have price main field yet. there is custom fileds to add whatever you need. price, discounted price.. that’s upto you
3. We love woo commerce. we will add later.

Pre-purchase question: Could this be potentially be used for listing individual items as opposed to locations? I am working on a site on which people can post their own items (tractors or cars for example). How well would I be able to do this on the theme as is or what can I do to customize it for that?

I want to create ten custom fields while having the item description page not look empty when they do not fill in all the custom fields, I want the custom fields to hide themselves if no information was entered. Really wanting to buy this theme, but, as you’ve mentioned before, the theme doesn’t have the capability for bulk uploads. I am setting up a physicians directory and have a .csv file with hundreds of physicians’ information. There seems to be problems with the support page as well as the demo right now. Also Themeforest says that the last update was done on the 19th of August (which is tomorrow). Can we expect the update within a few hours (on the 18th of August CET) or are there currently technical problems or will it be published tomorrow like around midday the 19th? Looking forward to it!! Do we get to know what has been updated?
So it fails to import demo files (didn’t happen before).
I did exactly as I did last time. I also did the method (the other way around – first upload demo via wp, then copy the oneclick into import on theme options). I get tons of error/fail messages after I click Download and import file attachments. What is wrong?

ok! I am using hostgator. Can you be more specific on that? I have had trouble before with a theme, and its impossible to get Hostgator to tell me that their services might not be enough.But I would like to adress the problem to them to see if I can get help. Btw, what changed in this update? Why was it so difficult this time, because it took med 1 minute to install and set up the previous version of your theme. So I might need to change hosting service… What would you recommend in that case?
We had been using that hosting and we think it’s not good for us and we moved. they blocked us that’s why our support site was down short time. I don’t mean they are good or not. but it was not good enough for us.
if you need to see update history, please go to the bottom of item detail page. we will have a forum soon and I will add the list there.
When you do update, just change theme. you will not lose any data. I wish I can help you out if your server allow us I just moved new one but we were in urgent. I will let you know if it’s good after we use for a while

Hostgator is great but I mean if they are not enough they are simply not enough. Ok! then I know. But this works great for now, and if I come across any problems later I will let you know. But please come with suggestions if you happen to find a good hosting service that works!

Hello again JavoThemes. One more question before I buy the theme. I would like to add more search criteria for better searches, e.g. Category Filter : Cars and Product Filter : Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW – which will be listed on item page as product list ( custom field or tag ). Is this possible to do it with this theme right now, and how ? Also, Do you have any plans to add additional features e.g. feature item ( listed in front page widget ) but it will be paid option ? Sorry for my bad english, I’m trying the best.

Hey Rob, Thanks for fast reply. No, it was not about sub-categories. It is about additional keywords/tags as additional search criteria not listed on the map. Just a keyword.

That would be great. Please let me know your decision about integration or not this kind of functionality – it is very important for me. Also, please look on page http://www.javotheme.com/directory/map-box/ 1st – only map shows on mobile view. 2nd. Search area not contains text field just filters : category, location and views. Search results are not listed on mobile view. If i can suggest something. Search area in mobile view should be located above map and search results below map. Thank you
