Congrats on the superb theme. I’ve 2 questions;
1) can we integrate woocomerce with the theme.
2) IIs there an option to show expiry time of a product/deal on shop layout ? If yes how can it be integrated with the product creation.

1. Yes it is already setup with the theme, all you need to do is install WooCommerce plugin after you install Avada.
2. Hmmm I dont think WooCommerce offers that our of the box, this would be more handled by the plugin vs our theme. But I’m sure it can be done, most likely there is a plugin out there that can do that for you. Or you can simply put an expiry date on the product page of each item, in the description area.

Thanks for answering my previous question but I still have another one before purchasing… I will purchase it in about 2 weeks. Anyway here is my question:
I am gonna make a switch from another theme and I want it to be as fast and smooth as possible as I get a lot of visits on my website already. What I would like to know is: Is there a way to configure all the settings of the template … Without activating it right away?

Hey!
You can build the site offline in a local environment, or you can use a maintenance mode plugin while you build it but that will also affect your current site. If you need to be live as quickly as possible, then I would build it on another domain or sub domain or locally, then move it once you are done.

Hmmm I’m not entirely sure as we’ve never used that plugin before. In theory it should be ok, however we cannot guarantee compatibility since we have not done our own test with it. If an issue does come up, we can always take a look on our support forum and make adjustments in a future update if possible.

Have you tried to disable any extra 3rd party plugins? It has to either be the common issue I mentioned, or a 3rd party plugin.

I’m pretty sure you need to update WPML to the latest version. They had a bug in the past but fixed it, it works on our end using latest Avada and latest WPML.

I have upgrade wpml to the latest and now the language switcher has disappeared from the top menu. What shall I do?
Hmmm did you check the settings? Is it set to display in the top menu? And is the the navigation set to show in the top left or right via our theme options?
I would recommend posting on the WPML support forum because the theme does not control their language switcher. As long as you have the navigation set to show in top left or right via our theme options, then something is not configured right in the wpml plugin. Does this theme come with or do you plan on offering a drag and drop page builder?

Currently it does not have one, but has a shortcode generator. However the good news is we are adding our own custom page builder in our next major release, its about 3-4 weeks away.

If you have not used Wordpress much then there will be a little of a learning curve, same for the theme. But we have many beginners use the theme. We highly suggest checking out our online docs and videos as most things are detailed out on how to do it.

Those are column shortcodes. You use columns to separate your content and build pages. Think of columns in one row. You have to have a complete set to make a row. It has to equal to 1. For example …
one half + one half = 1 row one third + one third + one third = 1 row

There is not one specific newsletter plugin we recommend, you can find the one that suits your needs and check it out. We’ve not had any reports of issues with them so it should be fine.

Pre-sale question: Do you have a demo for other skin colors e.g. blue? Thanks.
There is not a demo that shows the other colors, but you can change the colors to anything you’d like. Basically check out the dark demo, any dark you see can be changed to any other color.

Hi, I love your theme and am rating 5star.
1) I’ve followed the video tutorials and read through the comments regarding installing fonts, however my button fonts look terrible. What’s interesting is that on page reload, they look “okay” and then instantly change to load a worse font again.
Are you using a custom button font in the demo? That font looks much more aesthetically spaced and Is it possible you could provide that information/CSS? I’ve correctly installed the Museo Slab and use PT sans for the body. Nothing else change.
2) Is there a simple code you can provide to simply hide or remove the logo from a just a single page, as opposed to having a custom one on each.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

1. Hmmm we would need to see your setup on our forum to check this out. If you are using a custom font, make sure to upload all 4 font files.
our demo does not use a custom font for buttons, the buttons use teh body font, which in our demo is PT Sans. So that may be teh issue. The custom font you upload is only for headings and menu by default. Buttons use body font family. Try to change that in theme options to PT Sans.
2. Yes we can do that, it needs to target that specific page. Please post this on our forum with a l;ink to your site and page you want to hide it on and our team can assist.

I have correctly installed all files for the Museo Slab font for headers and menu.
I have selected PT Sans for the body text.
However, If you compare the look of any button from this page: http://theme-fusion.com/avada/header-4/
To my button example on the bottom of this page: www.alekhess.com
You’ll see how different the fonts look. Is there something I’m missing about the style of the demo buttons?

On closer inspection, it seems what I;ve been missing is that the demo buttons are all “Custom color, Size XLarge” – That appears to make the font much more spaced and crisp looking.
Replicating just those factors seems to reproduce the demo look.
Hmmm that should not play a factor. Well in a way smaller fonts can not look as crisp as larger ones, but it would have to be pretty small. The “custom color” is just for the color, and the size xlarge is the overall button size and also increases the font size. Seems weird if that caused it, but glad its looking good for you now

Hi there Very interested in purchasing this latest theme. Can you tell me what width in px images/photos need to be in the slider, for it to go full width yet still be responsive? and does this display well in all browsers and screen sizes? thank you.

The full width sliders do not have a specific size for images, the images you use in them are background images that are scaled to fit the area. So really it kind of depends on the image itself, through trial and error. But for the most part, you want them to be about 1500-1800px wide.
And yes, all of it will be fully responsive.
