We haven’t tested any such plugins with our theme so unfortunately we can’t say for sure.
Regarding switching, you will probably have to create most things again since our theme is compatible with our shortcodes and elements and not with others. Only default wordpress elements and visual composer elements will be compatible.

Hello,
When using LayerSlider, I have “Navigation Area” > “Show Prev & Next buttons” enabled, however it does not show up.
I am currently running version 5.3.2, which was bundled in Satellite7 version 1.6.
I have tried disabling plugins and results have not changed. Is there anything else that I am missing?
I figured out the problem. I had “No skin” selected for “Appearance” > “Skin” and that hides the navigation buttons.

Can you integrate it? Bought the theme because of your changelog – there is stated updated Visual Composer and hej – you don´t have it, so hm 
if we could use it with VC it might be even a better seller here – so think about an updated with VC integrated! For me so far I just threw out the coins … but your theme is awesome! good work! beside the fact that Visual Composer is missing and the Changelog contains an error

Unfortunately we can’t integrate Visual Composer into the Satellite theme, since already entered content can’t be converted for use with Visual Composer. You are correct that there was a mistake in the update log, however we made sure that Visual Composer wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the theme features.
We’re sorry for this error. If you have only bought the theme because of VC, please contact Envato for a refund.

Hi’ I’ve been using satellite for a while and I have some problems with my clients, that the google font and google map in the contact page is causing problems for the template to load in china. Is there any way to fix this?

Unfortunately there is no solution for this, you will have to use some other custom font and some other map services if you want these functionalities to work in china.

You should change all Google Font usage in stylesheet.css (stylesheet.min.css) to use your own font and you will need to edit qode-options.php file and remove all Google Font select boxes. After that you need to edit the css/style_dynamic.php file and also remove Google Font font family rendering.

The latest update as of Feb 25th supports WooCommerce 2.3.4. So you’re free to update your theme.
You can upgrade our theme by performing following steps:
1. Download latest theme main file from ThemeForest
2. Extract it and locate satellite.zip
3. Extract satellite.zip and locate satellite folder
4. Copy/Replace the content of satellite folder to /wp-content/themes/satellite folder of your web site.
Using this method, none of existing content or settings will be lost.

You don’t need a purchase code for Layer Slider since we have an extended licence for this plugin.
If you bought your own Layer Slider you can only use it on two sites.

To create this type of menu, for your first level menu item you need to select the “wide menu” option under Type: http://screencast.com/t/760H82OWzoL
Then, each second level menu item you add under that first level menu item will be displayed as one of the blue “headline” menu items, and each third level menu item under that will display as a normal menu item. Everything is based now on page builder and older themes were based on shortcodes. We have 15 themes we need to keep updated and we need to keep developing new ones. I am sorry that we can’t add new features to older themes.

Sorry to say this, but support is very slow. They reply after 24-48 for a single comment and then if I add a comment , I have to wait for an extra one or two days to hear back from support agent.

LayerSlider asks me for the purchase-code to get automatic updates. Because the plugin ‘LayerSlider’ was part of the Satellite7 pack, I can’t insert any purchase-code. The standard purchase-code is used by more than 2 websites (not mine), because I use LayerSlider only on 1 website.

I wanted to point out an issue with your google fonts behind and SSL connection in some browsers. As it is currently written in the Functions.php file it doesn’t load the correct font in a few browsers, but by removing the only the “http” in the lines where the code is being called it lets the browser load the font properly. I got the tip from here “http://wptavern.com/wordpress-tip-how-to-load-google-fonts-over-ssl-and-non-ssl” Just a heads up. Thanks for a great theme.

If you put the background on body tag than it is not possible. If you put the background on ‘content’ div, it will be, but we are not sure how it will affect on your design. You can try.

I’ve been having some problems with the pages.
Within a specific parent page, I’ve created several sub pages. Every time I click on the sub page, clicking on the parent page will not bring me back to the parent page. To go back to that parent page, I have to click on another parent page, then can I click on that specific parent page to load the page.
