Thank you for your interest in Captiva!
The only thing I can think of would be the default image sizes in our theme. You’d just have to change the dimensions setting to match your existing sizes and then run the ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ plugin.
If I was doing it, to be on the safe side, I’d export everything from the existing, set up a clean install of Captiva and import.

I recently purchased the Captiva theme and when I log into my WP site and try to upload it as a new theme, I get to a screen that says: “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.” This action does nothing.
Before this, all I did was download the theme. Move the file to my desktop. Unzip the contents (not the actual theme contents, just the folder that contains the theme download folder, which is zipped inside a folder called themeinstall).
From there I logged into my WP – admin account and navigated to upload a new theme, and from here I got the error as described above.
I tried using my file manager to upload the theme folder (both the zipped and unzipped version – this gets the theme to show up in my WP account, though it seems like a configuration file is missing as the interface obviously does not look right.
I solved it.
I had to use filezilla to FTP into the server. from there it did not show any directory listing. So I created a test folder. From my hosting account I used the file manager to find where that folder was created. From there I saw where it was. I then used filezilla to ftp Captiva into my test folder. Once in my test folder I used my hosting accounts file manager to move the theme folder to my wp-content/themes folder.
It is good to go.

Hey!
I just purchased the Captiva theme in wordpress and currently downloading all the required plug-ins. I have installed and activated all the required ones no problem so far. Except for the plug-in ‘WPBakery Visual Composer’. Whenever I try to install it, this comes up:
“Destination folder already exists. /home/content/47/8600247/html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/
Plugin install failed.”
Does this mean I already have it downloaded? Since it is a required plug-in, I am a bit concerned and trying to get it resolved before I start working on my site. Other Plug-ins such as ‘Ultimate addons for Visual Composer’ and ‘WooComposer’ require this in order to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

It sounds like the plugin is installed already – if you followed the initial theme install and setup steps, the theme will have automatically installed it for you – you can verify this from the main plugins list page – does it show up there?

We’ve been working away of a whole load of things these past couple of weeks 
WooCommerce 2.2 was just released today so we spent a lot of time testing Captiva 1.4 to ensure everything was working correctly with 2.2 – the good news is that everything is working fine with WC2.2
We would recommend full backups and lots of testing on a test version of your store before updating on live.
We are also making some changes to item display for mobile which we are rolling into a new theme which will be back ported to Captiva asap thereafter. So it’s going to take another few weeks for that to happen but the end product will be cooler 
So lot’s going on! Keep the feedback coming and we’ll be sure to incorporate it into our release schedule for Captiva and some other themes coming soon

The new Woocommerce version is throwing out a warning on install.
Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.
Is it safe to install the update?

Yes, Captiva is 100% compatible with WooCommerce 2.2 
The warnings are only for very minor syntax differences in our template overrides vs. any outdated code etc. We’ll have a minor release out within 24 hours to remove the warning but it’s safe to proceed with the WooCommerce update from Captiva’s perspective 
I would suggest though that you fully test the update on a local or test version of your live site first just in case you’re using some other WooCommerce addons/plugins which haven’t been updated for 2.2 yet.

1.Shopping Cart is not getting displayed with items such as $36.00 (1 item) in the menu under mobile mode. How can we show the added items to cart in mobile mode?
2. In mobile versions, when I touch any link, I am not able to recognize that “touch” event. Usually in mobile versions, any links will be highlighted with touch, where as Captiva is not showing that. Is there any setting to handle that?
3. in mobile mode, my logo is becoming very small. Please check www.lotuslush.com. Is there a way to make my logo little bigger in mobile mode?
4. Is there a way to enable “Lazy Loading” for products display instead of pagination?
5. This is suggestion. It would be great if we have “Go Top” button when we scroll down a page.
6. I am trying to import sample data “LayerSlider_Export_2014-08-06_at_21.44.23.json” into LayerSlider and getting this error “LayerSlider_Export_2014-08-06_at_21.44.23.json. The above file name is invalid”. How do I resolve this?

- Adding the quantity next to the cart on mobile is on our roadmap for a future release.
- Anything with a hover on desktop is visible on touch on mobile. I can see product titles become underlined etc on listing screens just fine. Can you send an example to support@commercegurus.com of an instance where it’s not?
- Your logo looks like a good size to me
It’s the perfect height and nice and sharp. If you increase your ‘mobile device header height’ setting in Captiva Theme Options it’ll get bigger.
- There are a number of Lazy Load plugins which do this you could try

Re: 1.) no this is not possible at present.
Re: 2.) Not at present. You could manually change the javascript in the plugin to auto slide the carousels but we wouldn’t recommend doing this as it has been shown in usability studies that auto playing any interactive elements like carousels and sliders is not a good idea.

My search bar and icons are looking strange. My search box has “FL” on the far right in Google Chrome, and in Firefox it is a box with small letters in it. I may need to upload a screen shot.

Could you please let us know how to handle the bellow issues/question please ?
1. I created a page with the function BLOG. When I click on a TAG I have created, it will display all the articles in which I add this TAG. (normal and perfect) However it displays the full articles/posts in the same page. Which means if I have 10 articles with the same TAG, the 10 articles will be fully displayed on the same page.
==> Is it possible to only display the picture + title + ex: 100 first words + read more.
2. I have created a specific widget area for the products. I have selected in “Widget Area” => Taxonomy Terms” => “Product Category ” => “Products in the “Satellite” category” & “Satellite”. It works. However when I enter the product page, the one which displays the information with the pictures etc. The side bar is no more there.
In other terms, how can I keep the widget side bar in the product page. ?

2.) Re: sidebar on the product details page. Have you enabled the a sidebar for your product details page? You can do so via Captiva Theme Options->WooCommerce Product details.
In addition, with Woosidebars – you will also need to tag that you want your custom widget area to appear on product details pages.

I don’t see in the captiva options how to edit my 404 page. It would be great instead of change the 404.php ! For exemple., i would like to add a search widget in my 404 page. Do you think it’s possible ?

The easiest way to do this at present would be to create your own 404.php in a child theme, that way having to avoid changing the parent theme files.
We’ll add an item to our roadmap to consider adding widget areas/theme options for the 404 page itself.

I purchased this theme recently. http://themeforest.net/item/captiva-responsive-wordpress-woocommerce-theme/8241498
1- When I followed the instructions and imported the slider demo json file, I could see 1 slider in the admin, but 3 sliders on the live site. Furthermore, when I deleted the 1 slide in the admin (there are no slides now in admin here http://www.yokfiyatina.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=layerslider), the slides are still live on the site. Can you help please?
2- After I imported the slides, the text “Yokfiyatina.Com” (logo text) disappeared from my header. And in chrome it looks like there is a broken image. (Attached screenshot)
