How do I get the menu customized like in the theme.

Right now they are just static links.

Is there a way to disable Storm’s default header menu altogether?

I am using a plugin for the main menu, and it is able to cover up the default Storm menu when the site is at full width. (Screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2473225/working.jpg)

When the window is resized smaller, though, Storm alters the default header menu and pushes the plugin menu down. (Screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2473225/not%20working.jpg)

Is there a way to hide or disable the Storm menu altogether, or to prevent this from happening? I know disabling responsive mode would solve it, but Storm’s responsive design is otherwise so great.

Is there a way to change the site width without hurting the responsive design? Specifically, to make it smaller?

Hello again, we have a few more questions if you don’t mind. Our page is www.brenlife.org if you’d like to view it.

1- Can we make the page static? When we decrease the size of our browser, or view our page on a mobile device, it changes the layout too much (i.e. taking the main menu away and changing it to a dropdown list, rearranging our posts on the home page, etc.). We’d rather the page keep it’s exact layout no matter what size it’s out. Even if that would require the reader to have to use the horizontal reader/slider at the bottom of their browser.

2- We made a top menu that we’d like to decrease the width of. Is there a way to change the size dimensions of the top menu?

3- Sometimes our website appears to be ALL in bold (even the twitter widget… any and all test is bolded). We saw it happen using Internet Explorer on a PC, but there have been other instances using other combinations of browsers in PC or Mac. Why does this happen and can we fix it?

4- Header space: can we decrease the space where the header goes? Specifically, we want to adjust the width of it.

5- We asked you before about removing related videos at the end of our embedded youtube videos. Have you found a way to fix this? The code you gave us didn’t work. We sent you the log-in info for you to take a look, but haven’t heard from you since.

6- Not a question, but a request. It’d be great to have an instagram widget. Please let me know if this is something you’re going to pursue developing in the future.

Hi, i’ve an encoding problem with your theme. When i write an article and save to db, special characters aren’t saved correctly, while with any other theme they are correctly written into the db. I use utf8 as db charset and i’ve specified charset and collation in wp-config. Same problem with Wp 3.9 and Wp 4.0. Thanks for your support. Giuseppe

Hi Love the design and everything but our problem is that the settings are completely blank with nothing in them and when we try to add widgets nothing happens. On top of that it is ignoring any color changes I make in the customize section under appearance.

Hi I have three questions:

1. How do I change the Youtube profile URL from “user” to “channel” so I can input my Youtube Channel rather than my user. Ideally if you can locate me to the php I will just change user to channel.

2. I keep getting random dates for the BK Widgets tab when I click on the comments tab, is there a fix for this? (to exolain the issue further everyone´’s comments are shown as being written on the same date, which is a totally random date. This is incorrect!)

3. Is there a way I can Cache the script for BK Module Grid until the new squares are loaded as I have an issue where the main middle square is loaded first and the rest take some time to load. (also welcome a suggestion to perhaps move the loading scripts further up as i want to prioritize loading times above the fold.)

I administrate a Wordpress blog and we are about to migrate to your theme. I have some questions.

Is it possible to show latests posts except the featured ones in a section? So featured posts go in another section and don’t appear twice on the front page.

Also, is there any way to maintain the aspect ratio of the featured images in the Masonry module, the grid module and the image inside the post?

Is there any possibility to get rid of the slider in the grid module?

Hello! Thank you for Storm theme. First of all – i translated it into russian, if anyone interested in it. Second. Found some issues: 1. In section “Module Masonry” we can use option Load more! In first time – it translated into my language, after first click – it is back in english. And “No more posts” too.

2. When we use Hypercomments plugin, this plugin, or Storm maybe, adds to exercept zone string “Comment system powered by hypercomments” on all posts on the main.

3. If we create mainpage with name “Main”, site adds word “Main” into meta of site.

4. Share button can not be translated/

Hi. This is a great theme and I love the clean look.

1) I wanted to download the new version of the theme and install it without losing all my settings that took a long time for me to set up. However when i logged into the Wordpress dashboard there is no option to automatically upgrade the theme. I downloaded the Envato theme plugin, upgraded the the theme and LOST all my settings. Will a future update be compatible with the Wordpress upgrade feature? Is there another way to upgrade the them without losing my settings?

2) Also, I’ve seen there are Facebook share buttons, but I’d like to add a Facebook Like button. Can you add this to a future update and is there a plugin you recommend?

Here I am with another question.

I want to include videos in my post in which someone will open the post, and be able to play the video right there (without needing to go to a link and be transported to youtube or vimeo). I tried using youtube, but didn’t like the “related videos” they had featured at the end. I read this article (http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/) for help on to get rid of it by using shortcode to embed the video into the post and then including some extra code (&rel=0), but it didn’t work. The shortcode didn’t link to a video, it just appeared at the bottom of my page. When I don’t use shortcode and just copy the http address of the video, it DOES show up, but I’m still not happy with having the related videos at the end. Why is the shortcode not working?

Then I tried using vimeo instead since they don’t have the related videos. However, I copied the http address into the post, and that did not show the video. You can see it here: http://www.brenlife.org/kyle-meng/ (go to bottom of post)

I marked the post as “video” format when I created it, fyi.

I just want to be able to post a video into my post and have it appear directly as a video, not a link, AND not have related videos appear. I’m fine with either using vimeo or youtube.

if I may request, could you include like buttons with counts as well? right now the theme only has share buttons.

Two questions:

1. I’ve created a child theme to make a few changes. (I realize there’s a Custom CSS box in the Theme Settings, but it’s unwieldy beyond one or two lines of code.)

My alterations, when put in that Custom CSS box in the Theme Settings, work fine. When I put them in the style.css file I created with my child theme, only some of them work—e.g., the search feature in the header goes away—but most do not—e.g., custom colors in the footer remain the theme default. Any idea what the problem might be?

2. Is there a way to disable the sub-footer (Copyright Text) bar?
