The new Fusion Builder is a beautiful thing to use.
This was the only element I was missing to make this my go to theme.
Now that I’ve started testing with the new Fusion Builder, I doubt I’ll use any other template in the near future

The support is extremely lacking. Definitely not “top-notch support.”
The code is sloppy and breaks in W3TC with minify and CDN turned on. Took around 5 hours to fix. Support told me minify breaks things and recommended I use their recommended settings (Their settings enable minify!) and then turn it off.
That’s like telling me the way to fix my problem with my new car’s air conditioner is just to not use it. You product should work with your recommended settings.
Of the 5 issues I posted on their forums I had to fix every one myself.
There are so many extra pieces of code everywhere. Hundreds of lines of WooCommerce code you can’t turn off. 3 javascript files that load even if you don’t use any of those features.
Then there’s the code quality. Half the CSS is inline. The source code is a mess. They use @font-face to bring fonts in but don’t use an absolute path which breaks everything if you turn minify on. Also even with everything turned on to improve load times this theme loads rather slowly. Not sure why but I think it’s the code here too. I have this issue with none of my other sites, even though they are less optimized.
As a theme for a complete beginner it’s pretty flexible and overall I would even say great, but for running a well put together website on Wordpress this isn’t the best product. It really could be, but sloppy code and lazy support on their side makes this product one that looks great when you get it and then once you get it and use it frustrates you.
Overall 3 stars because it’s a good theme on the front and has nice options, but the code issues and very lackluster support bring it down a lot.

This is a highly unfair review.
1. W3TC does not break, we use it on our demo, 3 test sites and have installed and used it on thousands of users sites without issue. And yes, minify works.
W3TC is a very advanced plugin, and a lot of it has to do with your own server settings. If you are having issues, it is purely based on configuration.
Minify does not break things if you set it up correctly.
2. Support … I just checked your account and that is very unfair and lopsided review. Lets see …
1st question you asked and you did not give sufficient information at all. We then replied asking for more details, which you never replied back too.
2nd Question was in regards to disabling woo styles, we clearly stated there is not an option for that. This is something we are going to add soon, however if you think that causes issues or slows down the site, you are mistaken. It really does not have an impact.
3rd question you asked about turning off google fonts, then quickly marked the thread as resolved right away. But even after that we replied and followed up.
4th & 5th question are in regards to teh same item, iconmoon not playing with W3TC and iconmoon fonts not rendering. As you can see from our demo, both of those items work for us. This falls in line with #1 above about W3TC configuration issue.
I can only assume you are upset because you cannot figure a few things out with W3TC. That is not our plugin, nor are we responsible for setting up your configuration with that. With that being said, if you ask us and actually give us a chance to look, we will gladly take a look for you and give you recommendations.
3. No, there is not extra code everywhere, every piece of code is needed. If you feel it is unneeded, then go ahead and remove it.
4. And no, half the CSS is not inline. Any inline CSS is needed and used for theme options or other features. Please evaluate the entire situation and fully understand why it is there before you make a statement like that.
Again, any W3TC issues you have are purely based on configuration. And the theme is not slow. you can clearly see from our demo the speeds are very good.
But please be a bit more careful about statements you make, we spend a lot of time and money offering free support to our user base and taking care of our product. While we understand that situations can happen that can lead to frustration, it is always better to ask first in the forum and work through the details. A majority of the time, understanding comes.

I’ve replied back to your comment, please follow up there. My comment was not meant to be insulting, it is absolutely true. 99% of the queries we get for W3TC are a misconfiguration. Honestly, if that were not true, don’t you think that every user would be having the issues you are having? That is certainly not the case.
Your claims of what our support staff said were 100% taken out of context and under “assumption”. Never once did they say “turn off minify” or “just dont use it” as you claimed. I’m not sure where you got that from, or why you posted it as such. You can easily look back at the comments and see if was never posted, the comments were not even close to that.
And yes, of course that is the inline CSS. Did you read my comment above about it and why it is used? I stated for you to fully understand why it is there, what is used for before you assume it is bad, which it is not.
I’m flagging that comment to have it removed ad this is not the venue to be posting a huge block of code like that.

It would be great if there was a part of the forum dedicated to submitting solutions to user-solved issues for integration into Avada.
Sure we do this already. For starters, everything on the forum is tracked. Anytime a valid comment or issue comes up, we track it and fix it if necessary, or explain where the comment was wrong or invalid.
We also have an ideas section with up and down voting that can server as this.
I asked in your thread to explain in detail the issues you have and I hope you follow up there with that information. If you feel they are, please post in the forum why that is in detail, and we will gladly discuss it with you, along with any other item you are concerned about.

That will take custom coding because the portfolio column template, is tied to whatever your site width is.
there is a work around though with a different setup. Please obtain the purchase code from the client and signup on our forum and we can help you through it.

Yes you can remove the entire header per page or post, there is a page option to do that (as well as remove the footer section). There is also a blank page template, that has both header and footer removed.

Sure you can do that, we try to show as many layout combos as possible on the demo but cannot cover them all. However, you can easily put a page together like that with our page builder and elements.

There is not an option for that at the moment, the default location is at the bottom, which is also good because of infinite scrolling feature.

We want to use all the features of the product page without the add to cart function – we’re not selling our products online. We need the “Related Products” sort by category and the tabs. The font awesome icons or custom images are setup to be used with our mega menu right now, which is only setup for the main menu, not the top menu. However we are going to be adding it for regular menu items sometime in the future.

Love this theme, it’s come on a long way since I first used it back in 2012.
I’ve been having some issues getting the page title to show up when viewing a custom post type archive page. The only way I can get this to work is by adding:
elseif ( is_post_type_archive() ) {
$title = post_type_archive_title( '', false );
}
On line 947 of custom_functions.php.
Just wondering if there’s an easier way to achieve this.
It would also be nice if the avada_current_page_title_bar() function was pluggable.

Hmmm you could use the portfolio for that, it has a half width layout, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/portfolio-items/curabitur-in-tristique/ And you can navigate back and forth from the top nav bar. You can disable the related posts below the main section also.
You could also use the blog shortcode and only show one post at a time, that will also allow pagination.
Thank you, But is it possible to have a slider instead of switching pages. The reference I shared is the best example of what I am aiming to achieve.
Each portfolio or blog post can have a slider of images, but the content will not change out as your example shows.
However, you could set this up with a layer or revolution slider. And then insert that slider on any page or post. The sample you gave is an image with text and you can navigate through that. You could set that up with either of those sliders
also I am not sure what I did wrong ….teh site width is 1100px and the sticky navigation is smaller then the site width but only on some pages:(.... your theme is beautiful and so easy to work with ! j:)

Yeah you can do that, using the fusion slider, or the revolution slider, both can take full screen video slides. For example here is one with the header below the slider, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/header-below-slider/, and here is one of the rev slider full screen, there is not a video in this one but a video can go in any slide, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/full-screen-revolution-slider/
