Hello Nector, how do I go about aligning my logo to the left?

Hello! Just wondering, will you create an instagram and/or flickr widget simillar to “latest portfolio items” widget in future updates? I mean simillar design, so it will fit theme nice.

It’s just you gave me some css to fix this manually earlier in the week?
It doesn’t remove the standard menu link – it fixes the position of the logo when you’re not using the standard menu and only have the slide out widget area on

On the demo page very bottom, the section for “Ready for stand out”, the button has arrow option, however, on the Nector Slider, I dont see where I can make the button with the arrow? Please advise.

For some reason the parallax background are blowing up huge for mobile (I’m using an iPhone). Any idea why? LINK
Also, the line icons disappeared from the shortcode builder window when I upgraded to the newest version. The squares appear but there’s no icons.

Any update on compatibility of Salient with Buddy Press? Seems like this has been brought up a ton of times for a long time but you guys always brush it under the rug. At least push a plugin or way to integrate via Code Canyon for reasonable price and people will pay for it but right now there are NO options to display properly. Come on, Buddy Press has millions of users! I’m sure you would have a high percentage of your Salient owners buying the add-on plugin (or your theme in general). PLEASE!!

if it gets integrated it won’t be through a paid service or plugin – basic integration was done months ago, but a template file would still need to be added to get the sidebar to display on those pages.

Hey there. Awesome theme. I’ve been searching for a way to display .swf files in a row in a portfolio item. I see that some people have been able to do so, but I’m not much of a coder, so I might need some more specific direction. Can anyone help?

I’ve been building the site on my laptop via MAMP. But I haven’t even figured out how to embed the .swf. I added the .swf file in my media library, but I haven’t even figured out a way to put it on a page. It doesn’t show up as an option with any of the elements I have to choose from in the visual editor.

I’m still having issues with what element to display it in. I’ve tried to embed the code from kimili into an HTML element, even a text element, but nothing is being displayed. when I view the page. The closest I got was to add it to a text element with the “add media” button. But all I get is a link that opens the SWF gigantic (full page) in a new window. Clearly I can’t use the visual editor to get what I want done, but I’m pretty much a beginner when it comes to coding.
Is there anyway you could allow me to check on this for you when you move to a staging server so I can actually inspect the page and see what’s causing the issue for you?
I took a little break and figured out what I was doing wrong. The Kimili plug in was working fine, I just had an issue with the path to the swf file. Once I corrected that everything fell into place. Thanks so much for the help!

also found another issue with slide out menu… Go to my site http://mbianchi.us/ and scroll down a little so the to nav background is solid, then select the slide out menu, close the menu and scroll some more the solid background does not show back?
whats odd is it only does it on the homepage? all other pages this is not an issue
I am assuming it is due to the nectar slider?

Hi bud, there is def an issue in ios8 and or the iPhone 6 with parallax images not showing at the correct width and height it’s like there are not scaling and are zoomed in:

2. If you use a full width background/content row at the top of a page it will go flush against the header nav.
