Love the theme. Could you perhaps tell me if there is a way to speed up the load speed at all? or is the load speed depended on the image sizes etc. I want to use the theme for educational purposes the third party plugin adopts the themes styles which will look pretty awesome.

For some reason, the twitter feed doesn’t display any of the text and I get this error code on the front page “Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home2/conradfs/public_html/wp-content/plugins/vntd-twitter/OAuthTwitter.php on line 177”

If you want to cause yourself hours of aggravation, then make sure to install WooCommerce into this theme. For a theme that says they don’t have support for Woocommerce, then WHY? OH WHY? would they hardcode the product images to be what THEY want them to be?! Why do this? It took me hours to find out why every time I changed the image sizes, they would default back to what North WANTS them to be. Really? Sorry…it’s a nice them on the outside, but there’s more bugs in it then a NY subway. Add that to the useless page builder and you got yourself wasted money. Will never buy from this author again.

We’re very sorry to hear about your issues. If you had any problems setting your site up, you should have contacted us right away and we’d for sure help you out with it. As for the WooCommerce – the theme does not support it and yet we do not advertise it anywhere on the site. And what hardcoded images have you got on your mind? It’s a standard now that themes define default image sizes for their portfolio/blog sections if that’s what you mean.

If the theme doesn’t support woocommerce, then why do you mess with the woocommerce files? You have several files in your theme that reference woocommerce, including style sheets and function files. Why?
You hardcoded the catalog, single and thumbnail images to the point that not matter what you set in your woocommerce settings…it still won’t work, because your theme overides it?! Why do you do this if you don’t support woocommerce??
Why is there a WOOCOMMERCE section in your theme’s options, if YOUR THEME DOESN’T SUPPORT WOOCOMMERCE? The options don’t even work! No matter what layout you choose (full, left sidebar, right sidebar) the page is stretched across the screen all the way to the very edge. The image is tremendous! I have been trying to fix this for the past 5 hours. 5 hours of my life for something you put in your theme, but claim you don’t support.
The single product page is HUGE! I reduced the image size in your woocommerce config.php that resides in the woocommerce folder in YOUR theme.See here: http://walkingtemples.com/product/portion-of-the-sea/ The pages in this theme all start at the very top with the page title showing behind the header. I can correct that oin the other pages by adding padding to the first row I place in. But since product pages are not editable that way, the title and part of the product info is all the way in the header.
So, I had top create pages calling that product, just so it can display correctly. SEE HERE: http://walkingtemples.com/novels/portion-of-the-sea/ But this is NOT a good solution, because when someone clicks on the product from another page, they go to the default product page…the page that’s messed up.
In closing, Unless you can fix this issue by tomorrow, I am screwed, as the client gets it tomorrow. It is unfair of you to create a theme, add tons of edits to a plugin you claim you do not support….and then tell customers “But you don’t see woocommerce mentioned on my site” Really? That’s tha game you play? Like I said, I will not be buying anything from you again, because I see you are already setting me up for no help at all. Your reply says it all. This theme is geared towards wordpress newbies who don’t realize how terrible it is coded.
I just found another way you’re deceiving people. You have the reviews on your front page that put people under the impression they are recent reviews from today, as none of them are more than a day old. PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THEY ARE IMAGES AND NOT RECENT AT ALL. Are you going to say it’s a coincidence that none of them say “1 month ago” or anything older than a day? I understand you want to sell your theme, but where I come from, I treat my customers with respect and don’t assume they are stupid.

The woocommerce files are a part of our WordPress themes framework (the same one is used for our previous, Renown theme that fully supports the plugin) and we have plans to introduce a full support for North in a future. Disabling the framework functions is a matter of 1sec line edit but you have never given us a chance to help you with the issue. It is unkind for you to say that we lie about it – the theme is not advertised to support the WooCommerce so it is unfair to rate it 1 star because it doesn’t.
As for the reviews – people whose comments are posted under the item description page used the very same theme files as you do so I don’t really see a difference if the time stamp is 2 hours, few days or a month. They were based on the impression of the very same theme as you do, not a different one. You can see those reviews in the item description of almost all themes recently and everyone is fine about it.
Regarding the theme support – if you had any troubles with the theme, you should have contacted us right away – we usually reply within 12 hours (24 hours at max) and would definitely help you sort all of your issues.
And lastly – please stop telling that we do not respect our customers. Please contact any of our 7000 customers and I promise that 99% of them would recommend our products. Just check our Support Forums and over 1000 topics/issues solved where people post they never experienced a better support before that prove that what you say is not true in any bit.

First of all, the theme is great
But despite this, I’ve ran into a problem, which I can not fix by myself.
I’ve started to build a page by modifying the demo content. In the first round I had to delete the Porfolio Carousel.
But later we realized we would like to use it. And here comes my problem, it does not show properly. Insted of putting them in one horizontal line, they are vertically aligned and the texts are on the top image, all of them in one place.
And I have a similar problem with Testimony Carousel as well. I could not figure out what is the problem. I’ve tried to check the shortcode of a properly working version, but it seems the same to me.
I’m not an expert in programming, so I would really appreaciate if you could describe me what should I do in details

Hej, first thank you for the great theme – I do love it and the rest of my team is loving it too. Some ideas: more woocommerce could come in handy – but is no must.
Found a bug: when adding something in social part of the “Contact Block” the link is in the website and not external – maybe should take a look in that…(maybe add it as option in the north menu? social)?
the mobile version works just perfect and right now we are thrilled.

Love the theme! Having a bit of issues with upload. My domain name is registered with GoDaddy, Formedspace.com, and my blog is set at wordpress with the domain name being mapped to wordpress. I bought a subscription to host with hostgator to see how things work. With quick install I tried to install the wordpress software but when I click on finished tab it still shows me the ‘Error 404’. www.formedspace.com
Please help. it’s been happening since yesterday. Where did I go wrong? Is this an issue with my domain mapping to wordpress or a hosting issue? any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

I am having trouble with the logo carousel. When ever I try to add my own custom logo’s (no matter the size or file type) they are displayed extremely smaller than the logos in the demo were (sony, vimeo, ect…). Is there particular file guidelines need to be followed in order to have them displayed the same size as your demo’s were?
