How do I get my images to display in a light box as opposed to opening in an attachment page? I know I have been able to do it in the past but for some reason I can’t figure it out this time. Thank you!
Also, how can I post a video at the top of a gallery page without it being huge and taking up the entire screen? Can I control its dimensions? Thank you!

Thanks for your response. I looked through the manual and I can’t seem to find a solution there. Perhaps you can direct me to where I could find it. If it helps, you can take a look at my website to see exactly what I mean. Two of the pages where you can see specifically what I am referencing are www.alliekushnir.com/watercolors and www.alliekushnir.com/video . On the watercolors one I have a gallery of images with a video above. The dimensions of the video are supposed to be much smaller but they always fit the screen, making it difficult to view through the website as they are so large. On the videos page, there is a similar situation but it is a page solely of videos and all of them are difficult to view because they are so large. I’m hoping you have a suggestion of how I can change this or at least point me to where I can find instructions for dealing with it in the manual.

Hi, I am trying to add an image to a gallery that I have already uploaded to my media in wordpress. However, when I try to do this I do not have an option to add the image to the gallery. Why is this?
Basically, this is what happens: I go to Galleries, choose a gallery, “Add New”, choose “Media Library” along the top, and then when I click on an image, there is no option to add to the gallery, only to “Use as featured image”. Am I missing something? I would love to be able to add images this way as I update pages on my website. Thank you so much, looking forward to hearing from you! Allie

HI team, I have two quick questions as I’m totally into this theme. 1. Can you do autoplay with the video widgets or add a video to your homepage slider/scrolling content? 2. Can you change the default background image, the gray triangles you have on there? I’d like to add my own patterns. This seems simple but just curious if it’s a feature for full customization.

2. It couldn’t be done using theme admin. However you can edit theme CSS file to change that.
Hello I have been using this theme now for sometime and have many galleries with 1000’s of images.
I have my galleries set at newest first but have just started adding weddings and these galleries need to be shown oldest first.
Is it possible to show a certain gallery in reverse order and not the others without using the drag & drop option in theme settings?
I have far too many images in each gallery to be able to sort by drag & drop, it would take forever.

Please use this plugin. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-types-order/You have suggested this plugin to many people asking the same question but I cant see how it is able to re-order the images in an individual library by ascending or descending. It only allows you to re-order the position of the galleries and not the images.
Can you please explain how this is done with this plugin?

Hi there. My client has done a silly thing and saved a skin in the theme, now I am unable to change the contact form, upload a new logo etc – is there anyway this can be resolved even if only via FTP – want the theme as it was when activated. Please help.

Hey, purchased this and all works fine apart from trying to upload images… when using the multi-uploader I put all of my images in (maximum of 2mb each) and the first photo will reach 100% fast no problems, but then nothing happens. The rest of the photos don’t upload. I’m on fibre optic broadband and have unlimited hosting space. What’s the deal? How do I fix it?
Also, after uploading images to the gallery, thumbnails of the portrait images are fine however landscape thumbnails show just the corner of the image: http://www.thirdavenuephotography.co.uk/the-joker/

Sorry mate, the landscape photos was my bad – the original size was too big I think. It’s still extremely slow to upload anything though? I have to do every image separately. I’ve reduced the sizes to 1200×800px but not helping? It works pretty much instant on my other Wordpress sites.

The problem occurs only with Firefox, Chrome and Opera – the rest is fine. As you can see (http://nacona.de/?p=254) – there is this white header over the video. Is there a fix for the other browsers?

I checked your site on Chrome, Firefox and Safari and all work fine. I don’t think this is theme issue. Try to clear browser cache.
Checked it with cleared browser on many different systems – nothing.

There is no solution since I can’t produce your issue. In fact it’s embed code from vimeo which works fine on many other customers and demo sites.
One last question: To open screen.css do I need an ftp? I can’t seem to find this file in editor in WP.

I bought your theme about a month ago. I love and thanks. However I’m having a lot of issues. i have about 20 questions about how to use your theme. I may be a bit of a notice with WP but I’m really confused about a few things. Is it best to write my questions in the comment section or email someone directly.
question 1: is I have images that are both horizontal and vertical, what is the best spec for image size? Is is best to post both thumbnail and high res image?
question 2: Under page attributes, if I want to use a pre-baked template. How do I filter certain images with my library to appear?
3: what is the easiest way to change the color of this template? I can’t seem to change the color of the footer.
4: what is the best size for full screen slide shows?

I made an update of theme today and for some reason a page that use Page Attributes “Gallery Image Flow” not show any image. It’s empty. It worked fine before this update… any clue what to do?

returns “not found” on your server. They should be able to see errorlog.
Why can’t I add images to gallery from media library?
I can only add images to a gallery if I upload new images via the Upload from Computer tab. If I try to used media library images I do not get the Insert into Post putt on, I only get use as featured image.
Could you please solve this problem? Everybody haves the same issue with the upload. If I want to add images which I have uploaded before, I must upload again and DUPLICATE THE IMAGES IN THE GALLERY.
I think it’s time to solve this problem. Maybe you could fix this problem and update the theme again.
